DESCRIPTION
Designed as a mobile Red Light District for use inside Hutt Space some two years ago, The Mastadon was intended to be used as a Civilian Grade vessel not a combat ship, sporting only rudimentary Laser cannons to combat Light Freighters and Light Turbolasers to be used against determined pirates. Its extreme height allows it to house many thousands of would be gamblers or vacationers looking for a way to blow hundreds of thousands of credits. Considered the "Mobile Sinner" by Alliance Jedi it encapsulates all things which are considered vices toward the common man. Be it Slave Auctions, Gambling, as well as Prostituting.

Its hull is equipped with many of thousands of transparasteel view ports for the many thousands of patrons on board making use of its services, and allocates considerable space just for the housing of these individuals in four separate grades of rooms.

Basic Class: The cheapest room available, Only has one single bed, dresser and mini-fridge and one refresher for cleanliness purposes. Windows are small and overlook small regions of space.
Economy Class: A step up from Basic, Includes a small living area alongside two Queen sized bedding arrangements. Includes a full refresher room.
First Class: Designated for the well off. Includes one king sized bed, a medium living area including a flatscreen Holo-Television, and a small kitchen area.
Luxury Class: A entire interior tower to yourself. Includes all amenities from a pool, living room, master bath to a gym, and rooms for both you and up to eight guests.

LEGALITY
Legal in Space outside of Hutt Space, where its use is delegated only to Hutt clan lords.

INTENT
Fills the role of a mobile casino for High Ranking members of a faction as more of a yacht rather than a mobile command center. It can also be used, just because of its sheer size as a location to roleplay in during a plot or operation, maybe even a static location. A place to buy the more /illegal/ things in the galaxy such as slaves and drugs and Black Market goods.

ADVANCED TECH
Yes!
IT CAN ONLY BE USED AS A LOCATION!!!

Hyperdrive “speed” (class is the term if i remember correctly) goes in equipment section.

Dig the pic and ship design and also the Hutt relation/inspiration.

How many threads would it take to get a beauty like this. I imagine it would be like 5 plus atleast.

Also if this does get approved next time line could you have one of these have it's hyperdrive malfunction leaving it trapped in dormant space? I could totally see a classist society developing in one these leading to snowpiercer esque plot resulting in a slave revolution

I’m thinking at least four. Since this thing is really just a luxury star liner, not a Sith Battleship. It’s got barely any guns and barely take on a similarly sized rock.

That is a good idea. I am thinking of having it be trapped in wild space, and have the ship split into two societies. The Slaves and the poor, and the Rich and Influential. Literally just devolving into petty tribes squabbling over the remains of a once great vessel.

So, a few things.

First, no civilian cruise ship is going to mount turbolasers, in any form. Even for something this size, it's currently over-armed.

Second, it's MASSIVELY over-endowed with passenger and cargo capacity. There is no way that 40,000 people would fit into something 400 meters long. That's 100 people per meter. For context, the CL7 TransiStar is a high-density passenger liner, and only crams in 2 passengers per meter of length. That also doesn't account for this thing's 400,000 tons of cargo capacity, which is more than any other ship in use period, and by many, many orders of magnitude.

At most, a luxury vessel this size I could see carrying maybe 800 people, and maybe 400 tons of cargo.

Finally, it's certainly Advanced tech, but we need a concrete number of threads that a plot to acquire one would take, not just descriptions of circumstances.

I have made it far larger in the height department. Essentially a mobile city with a hyperdrive created vertically instead of horizontally.

(It really is simply just a place to do all the vices that exist, Drug Making, Prostitution, Clubbing, Drinking, The whole nine yards)

If theres anything more to edit. Just @ me pls

So basically, you're saying that this thing is almost twice the size of a Super Star Destroyer. About 6,000 years before any such thing exists.

While I get that this thing is essentially a mobile city in space, I still think it's too damn big. However, I would still be willing to approve it, with the following stipulations.

1 - All armament is removed. The Hutts would probably have guard ships to handle anything before it got close anyway.

2 - You increase the crew count. 20 bridge crew are not going to be able to look after 40,000 passengers. Bump that to at least 4,000 crew.

3 - This thing is NOT to be obtainable through plots. Only one or two are in existence, and they are SETTINGS ONLY, not controllable by any faction or individual.

If you do those things, I'll approve this.

Finally got to setting it.
