Marl hates fighting, but he fights when needed. He definitely hates to defend himself, as he isn't very good at it. Marl is generally a nice person and nearly never gets mad. He is also not very serious, as he always makes good jokes and has an excellent sense of humor. He has published a few holobooks as stories of his life, kind of like an autobiography with exaggeration put into them. From these books, people can learn about him and that's what he likes, people learning.

Marl's mother died 10 days after he was born from poison placed in her food. Apparently, she got into an argument with someone and that person told her he would kill her. He was named Marl because of his father's father who was a great hero in his town on the planet of Adarlon. At 5, Marl found out he could pick things up without touching them. He learned that this was called the force and from then on, his parents knew he was force sensitive. He didn't know what this meant at that age. 10 year old Marl finally got what force sensitivity was. Through the next years, Marl practiced picking things up with this "Force." At the age of 15 Marl read all about famous people such as his grandfather and he still reads lots about them. When he turned 18, he got a sword given to him by his father. The sword was special to him and he has kept it since.

Over the years, Marl practiced using the sword and by age 22, he never scratched himself anymore. At age 23, Marl's father died of old age. He missed him for a few months until he was mugged one day walking in the city. He lost most of his memory of what happened before that. Alot of his credits and belongings were taken. He didn't even remember being mugged. After that, he still kept practicing with his sword. He decided that he should finally walk into one of the government buildings to request to make the city a little bit larger as he wanted more space to roam while staying within the town. His request was rejected but he still wanted to explore new places and he set off to the space port.
At the space port, Marl got on the next ship going to a beautiful planet like Naboo or Dantooine. At the planet, which happened to be Naboo, he went to the university there to learn more about history of the galaxy, mainly the planets. When he turned 24, Marl went to Dantooine to speak to some Jedi about history. He rented an apartment there and has lived there ever since. One day, he went out and got attacked by katch hounds. They severely wounded him and he had to be in a hospital for a few weeks. Up to now, he has been roaming Dantooine to research it's creatures and to admire it's beauty.
