BIOGRAPHY​

-Marcum Baron Streebek was born on Nar Shaada to Raumine and Galana Streebek.

-Seeking a better life, Galana accepted a PR job for a tech company on Corellia, bringing her family with her. Raumine accepted a job in communications at the same company soon after they moved.

-As a teen, Marcum was recruited by Raumine to act as a city-wide private document courier via. airspeeder.

-At 20, Marcum accepted a job promotion managing the mailing and courier department. He invested credits in his company as well as several tech giants.

-At 22, Marcum applied for and received a loan purchasing a small courier ship for interplanetary delivery. Soon after, he left his employer and began work as an independent courier. He proved to be very successful and began to climb the social ladder.

-Through a social event, Raumine introduced Marcum to his future wife, Darala Beckensey. They had a whirlwind love affair and rushed into marriage, with Darala insisting on an exclusive but extravagant wedding and reception.

-At the age of 25, Marcum became a father to his daughter and only child, Dusti Streebek.

-By the age of 30, due to his indiscriminate choices in who he does business for, Marcum made multiple connections with Republica government, Galactic Alliance, mafia, black market, and underground ties, with the condition that they didn’t tell him what their true businesses were. (Don’t ask, don’t tell.) Several large investments were made toward his services, enabling him to open his own small courier company.

-By 31, Marcum divorced Darala, as he was no longer able to handle her greedy, controlling, and narcissistic nature. He attempted to keep custody of Dusti, but the Bekensey family had too much influence on the system. Monthly visits were arranged.

-Over time, Streebek Courier Corps grew in popularity and is now a major courier presence in the known system. Now at 46 years of age, Marcum continues to feign ignorance about his customer base, though he has been more cautious in dealings with the Republica as of late.

APPEARANCE​

Caucasian human male (suntanned) of medium height and build, short auburn hair with grey on the sides, squinty brown eyes with a slight scar next to his left eye, soul patch under his lip, silver earring in left ear, dresses in what can only be described as “business-casual adventurer fashion”.

PERSONALITY​

Marcum, being a man of loose morals, has always had a “turn a blind eye” attitude when it comes to dealing with others. His attitude is “you do your business, and I’ll do mine. He has the same attitude toward his daughter, however, he has a tendency to bail her out of trouble and/or give her an occasional present here and there. As a younger man, he had tried to adhere to the upper-class lifestyle that his wife had touted, but since the divorce he has tossed aside many formalities and has been far more casual.
