Marcellus von Karling was a human male native of Serenno. After an encounter with the former Dark Lord, the previous inhabiting soul of his body was destroyed and what would become Marcellus was formed and placed in the empty shell.
Unknowingly or not, upon the creation of his latest Exalted, Darth Raze let slip some of his own soul fragments into the soul's construct, giving Marcellus a mind and will of its own. With parts of the famed Dark Lord inside him Marcellus was given control over some of his Exalted cousins and let loose upon the galaxy at large.

With parts of the famed Dark Lord inside him Marcellus was given control over some of his Exalted cousins and let loose upon the galaxy at large.
Born on the planet of Serenno in the Outer Rim, to a middle class family of six Julius Drake was the youngest of the four children. His early life was lacklustre and nothing truly remarkable happened between birth and the age of eighteen. Where he finally joined the Sith Imperial Military wishing to seek out a career off world and away from his over barring family.
Joining in a relative time of peace between the Empire and the larger galactic institutions, Julius did not see early action within the Navy. Mostly patrolling border systems or securing recently conquered planets for the Empire, forcing him to tread the standard and slow path of progression through its ranks, reaching the rank of Lieutenant shortly before the deceleration of war on the ISC.
Like most of the military Julius would side with the Din Faction, after Altair's declaration and the removal of the Sith from Imperial Space. During the subsequent collapse of the Empire down to its core territories, Julius took leave to return to a now independent Serenno at the request of his family, who like many of the residents were loyal to the Sith who had given the planet much.
After a number of arguments and thrown plates, Julius returned to the Imperial Navy.
