Mand'alor the

Reclaimer

Prudii Kyramud
Category: Historical Figures
Library: Archives of the Mandalorian Dominion
Location: Sundari Mandalore
Origin:
The tale of Mand'alor the Reclaimer Prudii Kyramud is not only a tragic and long tale, but it is a tale pivotal to the history of the Mandalorians. Though not long ago in history, Prudii Kyramud is responsible for the freeing of the Mandalorian people from Republic governing, and the subsequent creation of the new Mandalorian Government - the Mandalorian Dominion.

Prudii was born on the capital world of the Mandalorian Dominion, Mandalore, during its time in the Republic, exactly twenty-nine years before the formation of the Mandalorian Dominion. He grew up fifty-kilometers south of the farming city of Keldabe on his family's estate. The son of a bounty hunter and a factory worker, Kyramud was of no political importance to Mandalore at the time of his birth. Like a typical Mandalorian boy Prudii went through a proper education, as well as training as a warrior. Kyramud passed his Verd'goten as also was expected of Mandalorian youth. Kyramud made several friends during his youth who also seemed on the path of an ordinary Mandalorian, but would prove to be of great importance to both himself, and the galaxy, in their adulthood. Among these were Talia Al'saif, also known as Moira Kryze, Ral Vizsla, Caed Vizsla, and Bardan Kex.

Prudii's life in particular was shifted from that of an ordinary boy at age fifteen. His father had already died at this point from occupational hazards, and it was when he was fifteen that his mother committed suicide out of grief. At this point Kyramud, through means unknown, acquired transport from Mandalore to the Outer Rim in an impulsive attempt to escape his past. It was through this voyage that Kyramud was set on a course which would change the galaxy. Prudii ultimately found himself in Hutt Space, and in the employ of Majordomo Nor'baal Desajilic. It was through this employ that Prudii was able to put his combat training into application, and grow more skilled. It was also through his job with Desajilic that Prudii was able to obtain more advanced, and durable, parts for his Mandalorian beskar'gam. It is also assumed that during this time Prudii developed a series of mental illnesses that would plague him for most of his life - the most significant of which included a disassociated portion of Kyramud's personality manifesting itself as a hallucinated Endorian Chicken which Kyramud referred to as Becky.

Prudii was in the employ of Desajilic for approximately five years, working jobs including but not limited to bodyguard, debt-collector, and bounty hunter for the Hutt. It was after five years that Prudii departed the service of Nor'baal and moved to Chandrilla. For nearly the remainder of his life, until the succession of Mandalore from the Republic, Prudii would have a permanent, and often used place of residence on Chandrilla. It was after the secession that Kyramud was labeled as a terrorist by the Republic, and banned from Republic worlds. After relocating to Chandrilla Prudii began an independent bounty hunting and mercenary career for the next five years. It was during this career that Kyramud began to assemble a sizable fortune, which he would retain and grow for the rest of his life. It is believed that during his time on Chandrilla Prudii developed his passion and drive to free Mandalore from the Republic.

Four years prior to his death Prudii joined on with Caed Vizsla's company, Ha'rangir's Chosen. Vizsla had been a childhood friend of Kyramud, and the two continued a strong friendship until a year prior to Kyramud's death. During his time with the Chosen Kyramud displayed extremely sadistic, psychopathic, and self destructive tendencies, which included but were not limited to a fondness for mass-death, excessive violence, and use of extremely addictive and harmful narcotics and other substances. It was for this reason that during his time in the Chosen Prudii was referred to as Ha'rangir's Mad Dog, or simply the Mad Dog. Prime examples of this behavior are the time when Kyramud burned an entire village, and the inhabiting families, with a backpack mounted flame thrower, or the time in which Kyramud breached a doughnut shop using breach charges and lethal force to prevent an armed customer service complaint. It was during his time in the Chosen that Prudii developed the only long-term relationship that he held on file, dating Jedi Padawan Emilgotha for nearly a year. However, Prudii did have a daughter at one point that he did not meet until several months before his death. Kyramud fought in the Invasion of Onderon, defending the Iziz Police Department from Sith Attack.

After the invasion Prudii was anointed by Alor High Warpriest, Prophet of the Old One and Spiritual Guide of His Chosen, Mikha'el Atin'al as the next Mand'alor of the Mandalorian people. Immediately following this anointment Kyramud led an internal coup against Chosen leader Caedryn Vizsla, overthrowing and banishing Caed and assuming control of Ha'rangir's Chosen -ultimately tearing the fighting force apart in the process. Prudii reorganized what was left of the Chosen into Death Watch and began a holy Mandalorian crusade across the galaxy. It was through Death Watch, a terrorist but also freedom fighting group, that Prudii brought about the eventual freedom of the Mandalorian people. Through Death Watch Kyramud attracted a large following of Mandalorians and others, willing to pitch in and follow the Mand'alor's radical ideas assaults. His first target with Death Watch was the consolidation of interests on Tatooine and its surrounding planets, found in in Galactic Grid R-16. It was shortly after organizing Death Watch that Prudii joined Warlord Kyuss Thaun in an unnamed Sith Prisoner Facility and executed his former-fiancé Emilgotha.

It was after he had a solid base of operations in the newly claimed sector that Kyramud launched his campaign to free Mandalore. To achieve the monumental task Kyramud was forced to figuratively sell his soul to the devil, which he willingly did. Kyramud brought Death Watch into an exclusive contract with the Sith, assisting them with their galactic agenda in exchange for fleet assets and military assistance. With the Sith at his side Kyramud began a violent and vicious grab for power on Mandalore. These missions included the mass murder of thousands of beings in the Keldabe Spaceport, as well as the destruction of the GAR Garrison on planet. His presence established on the planet, Kyramud launched his attack on Mandalore. The battle was successful, and resulted in the death of former Mand'alor the Collaborator, and Prudii was christened the official Mand'alor, and deemed Mand'alor the Reclaimer. After taking Mandalore Prudii helped establish the Mandalorian Dominion, and would serve as their Mand'alor for nearly an entire year.

The final battle that Prudii would fight in was the Battle of Coruscant. When they prepared to attack Coruscant, the Sith called upon Kyramud's substantial debts to them, and in return the Mand'alor brought along the Mandalorian Dominion's fleet - heading the Sith invasion. Mandalorian ships were the first to breach the Republic blockade of the world at Kyramud's command. The Mandalorian then departed his ship and led a direct assault on the Republic Capital Building. It was during this attack that Kyramud was challenged by childhood friend Talia Al'saif who was angered by Kyramud's collaboration with the Sith. During this duel Kyramud saved Al'saif from an impending turbolaser barrage, and was ultimately slain by Al'saif. With his final words he confirmed the ancient Mandalorian tradition and anointed Al'saif as his successor, while also showing remorse for his actions against one time friend Caed Vizsla,

"Tell Caed I'm sorry. You.. have to find him... and tell him I'm sorry...Moira, go.. lead your people... Mand'alor."

It is for his contributions to the Mandalorian people, through freeing them from the Republic, and providing them with the frameworks to form a powerful new government that Kyramud is remembered by Mandalorians for all of time to come as a hero. The day of Kyramud's death was proclaimed by current Prime Minister Almec as a national Mandalorian holiday, Reclamation day. It is said Prudii Kyramud - with his life he freed the Mandalorians from the Republic, with his death he freed the Mandalorians from the Sith.

Would like to point out that the Mandalorians already had a powerful, stable government. The only thing the republic did was interfere with who won when the mantle of leadership was challenged or the current leader died and a new one was to be brought in.

This also doesn't line up with the official Dominion perspective on Prudii.

While The Mandalorian Dominion cites the siege of Coruscant as the final straw in deciding to take responsibility for its own welfare, the Prime Minister would like to make it perfectly clear that the actions of self-proclaimed Mand’alor, @Prudii Kyramud are neither a reflection of Minister Almec’s will, nor that of his people, but only speak to the reprehensible character of Kyramud himself.

The title of Mand’alor is a sacred one to people of the Dominion, and shall be bestowed upon a truly worthy candidate soon.

The Mandalorian Dominion has slightly altered its stance on the late Mand'alor Prudii Kyramud. The mans death has redeemed him of his servitude to the Sith, as the debt was Prudii Kyramud's alone. While the Dominion does not approve of all his actions, and he has been censured for his innapropriate and irresponsible command of the defense fleet at Coruscant, the Dominion has deemed him a national hero for the freedom from the Republic that he fought for during his life, and the freedom from the Sith that was bought with his death.

The Church stands with our Lord and savior, though it does advise against taking up his spice habit, the solicitation of prostitutes, consorting with the Sith, and basically every other aspect of the late Mand'alores personal life. And don't be a dick- pay your child support.

Prudii Kyramud, in his life he freed the Mandalorians from the republic, and overstocked spice and bored prostitutes, and Rodians. With his death he freed Mandalore from the Sith.

Makes sense. Then everything seems in order.

Taxes are a natural part of any member world of the Republic. The Mandalorians were by memory one of the major players in the Border Alliance and thus had their Military upfront with that. When it got turned into the GAR that was left in the air on what went on.

Screen Brexit.
This is ManXit.

Every year we send 350,000,000 credits to the Republic.
Let's spend it on our MHS (Mandalore Health Service) instead.

If that were to happen I might just burst a vein.

In my brain.

And have a very bad stroke.

And that wouldn't be good.

Lore-wise, this looks good. However there's lots of typos in it. Can you make sure to do a proofread? Once you do, I'll approve this.
