BIOGRAPHY

Born to a middle-manager and a housewife, Malin lived an unremarkable life of contentment. Quiet and bright, he concluded study with droid tutors by his tenth year and enrolled at Danda City General School until his adulthood. After graduation he commissioned into the Civil Militia as a lieutenant. Prepared to continue a life of banal competence, he was thrust into prominence at the onset of the Moon War. An unintentional hero, Malin was forced into continued service until at last, after six years of sobering conflict, he returned home. Now, returned to his desk and his quiet life, he is forced to confront a new struggle: the life he yearned to return to no longer makes him happy.

Personality

At one time a man of dry, glib charisma, at another gripped by neurotic passions, Malin is restless since his return home. He is always insistent on doing something, never resting. Reading, working, cooking, loving, exercise, art: it is a constant battle with obligation and commitment to find something worth doing. Still, he does regardless. He is a good friend when it suits him and thoughtless in his selfishness. He delights in intentional kindness and generosity but is not kind by nature.

Skills

While generally intelligent and capable, Malin is only partially skilled at making breakfast, speaking sharply, and shooting stationary targets. He loves to race speeders, and is an amateur scholar though he is not very good.
