DESCRIPTION

Created by the Empire's top weapons and armor specialists to protect the Emperor himself, the Malice-series heavy armor acts as a replacement for the armor the Emperor wore as a Moff and, later, a Sith Lord. The new armor, which covers all but the top portions of the Emperor's head, protects the body that was mangled in the Moff bombing five standard years ago.

The armor itself is forged from dark duraplast and even darker durasteel. The major joints (behind the elbows and the knees, and also the kneecaps) are protected with a phrik casing that will ward off one lightsaber strike each, preventing, at least initially, the severance of those limbs. A cape made of armorweave is attached at the shoulders, where also resides a hood made of zeyd-cloth. The respirator that covers the mouth and lower jaw is also a response to the Emperor's previous injuries and make breathing easier and (slightly) more comfortable for him.

INTENT

To replace the lackluster and sorely out-of-date armor that the Emperor currently wears (wore pre-timeskip and, hence, probably isn't fit to the new tech rules yet anyways). The armor is functionless, to comply with site rules on armor used by Force-users, but does contain a respirator to stay faithful to the Emperor's injuries pre-timeskip.

Hmm..considering who this is for you should probably nerf the tankiness of it.

Sorry, Clay. I only just saw this message.

I clarified when it comes to explosives that the armor can't take any direct hits; it only protects him from shrapnel. Other than that, could you please clarify where you'd like to see me nerf it? I tried to go by standard heavy armor I saw in the approved boards when assigning the hit points, but I'll happily change any you think to be too high.
