The landing struts of Ms. Fortune audibly groaned under the weight of the large freighter. Heated steam erupted from various exhaust ports, as the ship's systems attempted to cool themselves from the long trip. The rear loading-ramp wined, sticking several times before pressing firmly into the landing pad's duracrete surface. The enigmatic smuggler, Bahati Rhen, emerged from the craft with a confidence that was usually reserved for the galaxy's most prestigious holo-vid stars. One of the ship's systems sparked and caught fire, as she sauntered down the loading ramp; her hips swaying melodically with each step. A maintenance droid scurried quickly over to the vessel to dowse the flames, as the ship's pilot ignored the sudden eruption. It was if pieces of the ship bursting into flames was an everyday occurrence for the caramel skinned beauty.

"Really Cal, I don't think that this is going to be 'your guy'" Bahati called back behind her, as she tipped the landing pad owner.

It was a customary act on Nar Shaddaa, when you didn't want your ship's arrival and location reported to the local Hutts. Even then, you weren't insured that the owner wouldn't rat you out, which is why forming a good relationship with personal landing-pads was such a great investment as a smuggler.

"I mean, Fedrith hasn't been my most reliable contact." she continued to shout toward the loading ramp. "He's supposed to be at Danplak's Casino, which isn't far from here. Are you sure?"

Alex hope leaned against a wall he was waiting for some one to come and drop off some credits for a smuggling job he had did a few days before. but they were a no show so he sat there seeing if he couldn't see something worth doing. then he saw a ship land and a part of it burst into flames he was about to get up right as a droid came to put it out. then looking farther ahead he could see a women walking down the landing pad. she walked and Alex just could not help himself "Lets see where your going shall we" and with that he was fallowing a bit behind what could he say he always had an eye for trouble.

A sucker was wedged in between his mouth, the confectionary squirming under the pressure of his teeth until it shattered into a dozen pieces. Calo made a point in gnawing on his sweets instead of allowing them to melt away in his cavity: he liked to get straight to the point. When he wanted someone dead, he'd simply break them in two with a prompt crunch, just like any sucker. And when he wanted someone in a different approach... well, you get the point.

"Oh I'm very sure."
Calo chided as he trailed after the golden beauty. He paid no attention to the sporadic bursts of flame and exhaust from the ship and focused solely on imitating Bahati. He attempted to reflect her limber strides down the plated ramp, and exaggerated her elegant movements in his ridiculous attempt to mock her. Calo had always made an effort to agitate her: always finding some form of pleasure in doing so. Especially throughout their trip to the bustling city, he had consistently made it clear by playing relatively steamy holo-vids ripped from the Net. The two were quite acquainted with each other, to the extent that Calo believed she was interested in getting in his pants. Though from his own perspective, who wouldn't?

The droid bleeped and whirred in satisfaction, as the flames were successfully extinguished. The owner of the landing pad, however was less than satisfied. There was a look plastered across his face, as if he were expecting Ms. Fortune to explode at any moment. The mocha-skinned smuggler continued her leisurely gait, without a second glance, leaving the worried proprietor in her wake.

"Oh I'm very sure." Calo retorted.

Bahati was less than sure that Fedrith could produce anything worthwhile. The last time that this particular contact had promised her a big score, she had wound up transporting womprats from Tatooine. Cleaning her cargo hold after the excursion had cost her more than the client had paid.

"Yeah. Ya said ya were sure on Vendaxa too. We all know how that turned out." Bahati complained, rolling her almond shaped eyes.

As she spoke, Bahati caught a glimpse of Calo mocking her; an action that wasn't at all too uncommon. She shook her head in disgust. Not at Calo, but at herself. Somehow, she kept allowing the egotistical Ladies-man to rope her into his little ventures. The last time she let him bored her ship, he had pulled up so much smut on her computer systems that she had to shut them down and scrub them for viruses and worms for nearly a week.

"Let's get to the casino. Maybe you'll get lucky this time." she spat, with her walking becoming more determined.

UGH! How did he do it? Calo was literally the only person in the galaxy that could get under her skin, and she was pretty sure that he knew it.

"Now, now, darling." Calo quipped, raising his finger as if it would underscore his response. "It wasn't technically my fault. The fella just looked a lot like him, and my knife was already so deep before I realized it. The dude was asking for it!"

He only shrugged once, indicating little remorse. Vendexa was a reasonably shit planet anyhow, he was glad he got to leave as soon as the opportunity arose. Then again, the ensuing gunfight left a neat little hole in his right arm, and left his ears ringing for the days that came after. Whereas, Bahati had escaped the encounter unscathed. He could only imagine it was because of her sensual appearance.

However, it was apparent that she noticed his mockery, as she resorted to a more forceful stroll. Calo only snickered to that in reply, like that of a human child having just heard the teacher say "Penis" for the first time in a class. Bahati made delightful company.

"Let's get to the casino. Maybe you'll get lucky this time." She scoffed in her "annoy-me-again-and-I-kill-you" tone of voice: so nothing surprising to Calo.

"Oh I'll be lucky alright." He exclaimed, flaunting his exquisite rifle. "And the life of that traitor won't be the only thing I'll be stealing tonight."

Bahati smiled slyly, holding back the boisterous laughter that threatened to escape her lips. She knew; and she knew he knew that she knew - that the poor guy didn't really look that much like Calo's ex-teammate. She was pretty sure that Calo just loved to practice his craft; and he found a perfect target in one of the galaxy's most nefarious exotic animal traders.

"I'm pretty sure the only thin' that guy was really askin' for, was his life." she remarked with a slight wink.

The couple continued to walk through the crowded streets of Nar Shaddaa. The man that currently stalked them went unnoticed by the curvy smuggler. Bahati was normally very weary of her surroundings; however, whenever she was around Cal, she seemed to lower her guard. There was a certain feeling of safety; having an eagle-eyed assassin at her side. Bahati's indifference to her surroundings suddenly shifted, as they drew closer to the Casino. The curly haired woman's eyes narrowed, as she began scanning the nearby area. It was a look that probably seemed all too familiar to Calo. It was the look when the normally goofy, sarcastic woman got down to business.

"How do ya wanna handle this?" she queried quietly, as she continued to study the area around the casino.

As the duo slithered through horde of people, Calo regarded his surroundings with skepticism: there was always at least someone shadowing his steps. Perhaps because of the mammoth bounty that was currently on his head, but he liked to think it was due to his exceptional and alluring appearance. He had, however, already caught the fella who had trailed them since they landed on this godforsaken planet. Calo chose not to nudge and notify Bahati, thinking she was deft enough to have spotted the stranger a long while ago. Were they even trying to hide as they followed the two? He would have whirled around and shot at the man and his absolutely laughable snub drone if not for the fact that he was so close to capturing what he thought was the traitor that sold his crew out. Calo curled up his fist in anticipation, contemplating on how he would stab his old friend when he saw him. In the back? Oh, the irony.

As soon as the pair reached the casino exterior, Calo only shushed Bahati, ignoring her question as he straggled himself into the luxurious tower. Inside, it was an entirely new world. Unlike the groggy metropolis outside, the casino was packed with a multitude of exotic antiques and adorned with fabulous ornaments: a polar opposite of what he expected. Music flourished through the foyer of the expanse, bearing a lively melody. What kind of **** was this? A Jedi Temple?

The epitome righteous indignation appeared across Bahati's face, as Calo shushed her. Did he really just shush her? The smuggler opened her full lips in protest, but Calo had already made his way into the building. "Oh, you've gotta be kiddin' me?!" she complained softly to herself. "Sure. Why not? Just walk right in, without any plan. What could possibly go wrong?" she continued to herself, as she made her way in. Of course, could she expect anything less from Calo? He always seemed to handle his affairs through gut feelings and heart, where as she would construct copious plans and backup plans prior to initiating a mission.

Her mouth dropped open at the sight of the ornate casino. The opulent music that hung in the air screamed "High-Roller", a scream that was most welcome to the exotic thief's ears. Her eyes moved to a beautiful blue-green vase, whose base and mouth stood firm, but its body swirled and undulated with the music. Was that a Lux piece?! Lux was a famous Zeltron artist who died over a millennium who used a strange combination of minerals an bio-genetics to create one-of-a-kind pieces of art. Lux's least attractive pieces were worth well over 2 million credits. Bahati released an involuntary whistle of appreciation, before glancing down at her attire.

That skeevy Nerf-herder, Fedrith, told her that this was some low-life side casino. As such; she was dressed in her normal smuggling attire; her blue and brown jumpsuit that revealed more skin than it tried to conceal, a 434 Death Hammer heavy blaster slung high on her hip, and her hair was a bushy mess. This was *NOT* the correct attire for this place, and she would stick out like a sore thumb. In fact; there was a distinct possibility that as soon as someone of importance had noticed her; she would be promptly removed from the establishment.

"Cal! Cal!" she hissed through her teeth. "We need to think this through." she continued. She was sure not to give any other information, as she was sure that a casino of this stature had vids and was recording at all times.

Calo grumbled aloud, stomping back to Bahati as if she was his stringent mother. He was not a fan of plans, and he was not a fan of waiting either. If the man he had been searching for was in this very casino at this very time, it was about time for him to unveil the concealed magnum from the confines of his pants (which wasn't the only thing he was packing) and add another tune to the beat of the music. Patience was not his strong suit, and neither was it ever one in his entire life. Calo saw it as a weakness: one can't just sit around and wait for something good to arrive. You had to take it. In this instance, he would have to pull a trigger for it. Oh the sweet pleasure of killing of a man was exhilarating.

His lack of elegance in his behavior did catch the eye of several onlookers, who then glanced at Bahati as if she was to blame for it. Then again, she was his chaperone on this whole trip to Nar Shaddaa, I mean: she drove him too. They promptly returned to their gambling though, laying out stocks and credits to waste as if the entire world was about to end. Calo, on the other hand, laid out a sullen look to his companion. If more had been watching, they would see a lewd couple on the verge of waging a war in the middle of this fine establishment. He was sure some were anyhow, with all the holo-cameras sprinkled across the building. Not like it mattered to him.

Bahati sighed at the assassin. Though he said nothing, Cal's entire posture showed that he vehemently protested. Which she guessed wasn't a bad thing. There was obviously something within him that agreed with her. And he had ceased his advance into the establishment.

"The way I see it; we have two options. We can either see if a nearby store has more... appropriate clothes, so that we can inconspicuously grab your mark. Or we can, through unsavory means, try to sneak into a position in which you can hit your target from a safe distance and then we can make our escape." she offered quietly, turning her face from the camera as she spoke. "If we barge in now, a lot of people are going to get hurt." bahati cautioned.

She glanced over Calo's shoulder, noticing several large men in suits making their way toward the duo. It looked like someone had gotten nervous. Her eyes darted between the men and Cal, hoping to alert him that there was someone approaching.

"Besides. We don't even know if it is him. For all we know we could rush in there now, probably havin' to take a few people out; find out it's not the guy; and get arrested... or worse, killed. For nothin'." She pleaded; carefully watching the angles that the men took, as to make sure that they didn't get surrounded.

Calo expressed a brooding frown as Bahati laid out what she thought were the right options to take. He paused for a moment to consider the alternatives, resting his finger on his chin once again, before answering in an honest manner. "All those ideas suck! I'd much prefer we do barge inside and kill the prick, and a few people while we're at it. There ain't nothing wrong with that to me."

It was to no surprise, Calo and his eagerness had long gotten the better of him. Did it matter to him if innocent people would get hurt in his aim to take petty revenge? Of course not. The prick, in essence, ravaged his destiny for some credits. Although, it was quite a lot of cash: the prig could have at least shared it. Even if city or casino guards did arrive to extinguish the likely gun battle (and Calo knew there would be one, in a lewd place like this, there was bound to be), it shouldn't take much to take them out. Sure, Bahati and him might get a bounty and could get outlawed on Nar Shaddaa (keep in mind, might), but Calo couldn't give any less of a damn.

Bahati, on the other hand, was making quite grotesque glances at him. What did the woman want? Did she have to take a piss? Why did she have to ask permission from him? Did she not know where it was? He moved on to follow what she was eyeballing at as well, turning completely to face the several studs making their way to them. Raising his arms together as if he was offering a hug, he hollered at them spiritedly, ignoring Bahati's distant pleas. "Hello fellas! We're just looking for directions to the nearest bathroom, mind if you lend a hand?"

Alex was hearing what there were saying "so you are here to collect a bounty haha well then I'd love to ruin this little hunt" he made sure to keep all guards away from them using the force to make them not pay attention to them then. He talks on his communicator "Echo team this is Echo 1 I'm going to need some back up at the casino so if you fancy a little fun head on over" the team of 6 responded back and were on there way Alex was a squad leader for the ADI they were combat ready and were on there way he would have them set up at different points around the building if there was a fight Alex would do his best as a soldier to stop it.

Bahati's posture changed suddenly, as the men who seemed to be approaching them; all reached for their earpieces and slowly turned and blended back into the crowd. The smuggler's well manicured eyebrows arched high on her head. Her head turned slowly toward Calo, while her brain worked hard to figure out what exactly had happened.

"Umm..." she started; fumbling over her words. "I've described ya, as a charmin' son-of-a-whomprat, but what the freck was that?!"

A couple of the casino's cliental glanced over at the action, but most were too focused on their prospective games to pay any mind to what was going on around them. This is a freakin' trap! Bahati thought to herself. She slowly proceeded deeper into the casino floor, cautiously bypassing the 'Chip Exchange Booth' that separated the lobby from the gaming floor. Her gloved right hand rested heavily on the blaster at her hip; ready to draw the weapon at a moment's notice. Her eyes scanned the room deftly. Now that she saw what she was looking for, she was able to spot the various security agents.

"Find your guy, Cal. I'll keep watch on the' Suits'" Bahati suggested; making sure to follow closely behind Calo, as he moved.

This was definitely not the ideal approach for Bahati. Not only would the mark spot them from a mile away; due to their attire, but their faces would be all over the holo-vids... And how was she supposed to come back and rob the place if she was on its watch list. Not to mention that some Kriffin' Hutt was probably gonna place a small to large bounty on their heads; depending on how much they messed up its club. The mocha-skinned beauty was not happy about this situation, and her face did little to hide it. All of her professions required anonymity; and she thought so did Calo's. That's why she agree to help him. But this... this was going to hurt her career.

How rude. Calo watched as the several casino guards quickly took turn and vanished back into the scattered crowds of people-- all without even answering his question. Now how could they ever find the mysterious bathroom? Bahati, on the other hand, floundered and bumbled to herself as Calo continued to overlook her. His listening skills were on par to that of a bantha carcass, as evident by his lack of reply to even his own long-time caramel colleague. You couldn't blame him though, his attention span was too little for him to focus on finding the traitor and blubber along with Bahati.

He pressed on through the elaborate casino, waving at indiscriminate strangers and showing them an old photo of his target, before asking them if they had ever seen the man in the image. Why would he still have the photograph of his long-hated enemy? A good question, but for another time.

Most only gave a glance at his attire and scoffed, returning back to their bets and games. Although, some were kind enough as to scoff then answer him-- all with an abrupt no. After several minutes of asking more contemptuous pricks throughout the club and being left with an answer he didn't want, he cast himself on the nearest couch to fuss in peace.

To his own surprise, it was there that he saw him. Yes, him. The vile, truculent pile of shit he had been searching for so long was dressed in a fine suit by a pool table with a few of what looked to be his buds. Of course it was an old-fashioned pool table, the most cliche of all places for a bum to stake at (second to a bar), and the last place Calo would ever find himself. Although the renegade looked subtly attractive in his getup, it was unfortunate Calo would have to stain it with his blood.
