Major Weaponry

So I know the general rules about weapons and super weapons, but my question revolves around what class of weapon is acceptable for purely story related threads? I want to use a type of chemical and gas based bio-weapon, not yet, but soon. So I wanted to just be clear on what directions I could take with this. These weapons will never be used against PC's in duels or for insta-kills. They will only be used against PC's if both parties agree publicly. Basically I want a rare(let me stress this further; RARE) weapon that can be deployed on RARE occasions for story development. Nothing insane(world devastating) but devastating enough to wipe out small settlements or villages that would be created for the singular purpose of being destroyed. These places wouldn't be affiliated with any major faction. The 'gas bomb' is primarily going to be used to create a resource for one of my characters. I could essentially accomplish the same thing with a handful of Thermal Detonators or other easily acquired weapons, but I wanted to make my own to feed into my character's development. I figured it was worth throwing out there before doing an extensive write-up.

Biological, chemical, and radiological weapons capable of devastation over a wide are considered WMD's for the purpose of the roleplay.

Whether the WMD is tactical or strategic - ie, a village-killer vs a city killer - is irrelevant insofar as the rules are concerned, as any use of a weapon of mass destruction requires admin approval. There's no exception.

Feel free to PM me exacting details of what you want to do and we can talk it through. We generally don't say 'no!' to the use of weapons for story purposes or against NPC's, but there are instances where we have to say no, hence the requirement for administrator approval.
