He was not instantly going to go on the offensive toward his former colleagues. Although he did keep a slight awareness on the two knights nearby. The building shook dangerously. They were running out of time while it was still standing, and Cade could only hope the hostages were being rescued. He leaned forwards to keep his footing and the shake subsided. The building would hold a little longer. Even so, if it did fall he doubted that he would have much success holding it up, it was a gargantuan block and if it toppled over even the combined force energy of all four Ospion would struggle to slow it, let alone stop it. He spoke again, "now, Katu, do you mind telling me what you're doing blowing buildings that terrorists are attacking? It looks like your presence here, and that of the terrorists isn't just coincidental."

"I knew nothing of a terrorist attack, it was the will of the force, the force using it's influence to help my cause, I will move past you, find the real reason why your despicable group is here and bring it before Master Dewbecca and the council, then your group will be hunted like the dogs they are, I am defending the jedi order from evil and tyranny, you must stand aside Cade....I do not wish to fight you"
With that Katu ignited his lightsaber, his two former students were back by his side now, both a bit out of it by the attack but it was still three against one.

((Btw, could you give me an idea of what your NPCs look like...clothing, hair, face, lightsabers etc? I assume they're all human as you've not said otherwise?))
Cade was still standing between the three Jedi and the doorway as the three of them squard up and lightsabers buzzed into life.
"It is a shame you feel that way," he replied somberly to Katu, "but if you continue to try and jeopardise our work I'm afraid I cannot allow you to pass."
He shrugged a little and his cloak slipped off his shoulders and hit the floor with a dull thump. His lightsaber was in his right hand, and kicking his cloak out of his way, he stepped back into his natural Soresu stance. It was the one he had first learned from Dewbecca as a padawan learner, and probably the one with which he was most proficient (although as the former Jedi lightsaber master he had some expertise in varied styles of combat, and would have backed himself against almost any other fencer in the galaxy, as one of the best himself). He stood firmly and turned his blindfold to face Katu squarely in the face. He opened himself up to the force and allowed it to flood his body. Just like multiple training droids back at the temple.
But that was before he left. Now he was just ready. And waiting.

"Master Jedi, is that a threat?"" Cade replied calmly, but icily. As he said so, with the slightest of movements with his thumb on the hilt of the lightsaber he held, the emerald green blade lancing forth before him as he remained in the upright, defensive stance. The blade hummed gently, illuminating Cade in a very similar way to how Katu's own blade, similarly hued, lit the three Jedi up. His blindfold, tied across his now messy hair that had grown long in his self imposed exile, face Katu's piercing eyes and Cade balanced his weight carefully on the balls of his feet, ready to pounce should Katu or the two knights try a quick attack. He said no more, his tone had let the three Jedi know he was not going to move, or incriminate the Ospion, even if he could at the moment (which he could not). He stood, the tension hanging in the air across the room, between the two blades, waiting.
"Let me past Cade, all I wish is to find evidence, I wish no ill feeling between you and I"

He had sparred with him a lot as both padawan and knight, and he knew his former master's style very well, a great advantage. And although he had not sparred with him for a long time now, he had learned a great deal himself on his road to masterhood, the council and then the Ospion. No doubt Dewbecca was a great duelist, and as curious as he was to the answer of this, he had no intention of meeting Dewbecca in mortal combat, and such was the only true way to see a better fighter: under threat of death one had the ability to unlock things, reserves most do not even realise they have.

Cade was saying things that Katu had been saying to himself for many months now, He had fixated on whether he was doing the right thing or not....But he always managed to talk himself around...There had to be martyrs for courses like this

Now stand aside Cade, there can be no turning back after this point. Do you really want to have the blood of three jedi on your hands? You have corrupted these two knights beyond what I'd have thought possible from even you, old man. Drop your weapon and stand down, and maybe redemption might be in the distance for you. Or keep hold of it, and face the consequences," as he finished the building shook dangerously. He added, "whatever choice you opt for, I implore you to hurry or we're all definitely dead."

Katu waved his hand throwing his lightsaber in a high arc towards Cade, using the power of the force to guide the blade, as soon as the blade had escaped the fingers of Katu his two loyal knights were away in a flash towards, there blades ignited as they made the distance in mere seconds, swinging there blades alternatively high and low attempting to overwhelm Cade.

Cade was thankful that he was an accomplished fighter, and that he had learned from one of the best. His weight already on the balls of his feet, as hit had been since dropping into his upright stance, he was ready to spring into action. The flying blade reached him a good couple of seconds before the knights would, and that grace gave gave him the time to deflect the spinning blade to the side as it continued on its curved trajectory back to the hand of its master. Then the two knights were upon him. Evidently they had not been the product of Master Dewbecca's stringent training. Dropping to a very low stance, his weight mainly on one leg, bent low beneath him, he used the other to propel him around in a short spin. Keeping his blade at face height, it connect with and blocked the low attack, which was initially about knee height, and locked the blade with the knight. In the same movement, as the high attack passed harmlessly above his head, he stuck out the leg he had used to turn, kicking hard to sweep that knight off his feet.
He rose, still mainly on the leg beneath him, to face the knight his blade was locked with, the swept knight not yet having the time to have rejoined the battle, and lashed out in kick on the side his blade was, to stop his cut off in the process, and connected the roundhouse with his opponents side. If he had been so inclined he probably could have relieved at least one of the knights of some limbs. Before either of them could attack again, he took a step back in his traditional soresu defense and waited, his weight balanced once more, for the next tirade.

The ceiling's collapse was an unexpected turn of events. Amaterasu was going to head towards a higher level using the stairways, to prepare the hostages for evacuation (and reduce the spread of the conflagration along the way). But a slight stumble and the weakness in the floor beneath her brought the knight to the level of Cade and the three... Jedi.
She drew her lightsaber and ignited it, drawing attention to herself (though attention would have been drawn, regardless of what she did). A look of seriousness was worn on her face, as Amaterasu took steps to place the stairwell behind her. Her blade was held in a defensive posture, quite similar to Cade's, though differing as she had a different instructor in the ways of lightsaber combat and her style simply is unlike Cade's own.
The corner of her lips curled upwards as Ama contemplated the sort of verbal tirade that Cade probably would be preparing at that moment. But it didn't matter that much to her as to her being ther eat the very moment. It seemed that the Force wanted her to be here, so here she shall be, for now.
"Sorry to... drop in," she said, "the floor above does not agree with me."

Katu's blade returned to his grasp doing no damage whatsoever, his two knights rose to there feet both of them worse for wear after there swift seeing off from Cade. However to there credit they both turned on there heels and leapt at Cade. The taller of the two going in first with a high smashing angle down towards Cade attempting to use his height to his advantage while his fellow knight stayed back looking for an opportunity to move in, her senses greatly refined after realizing she was against a great master of the blade.
Katu's gaze however turned to the new participant, with a smile on his face he saw an opening, an opportunity to save his life....The force worked in strange ways, with energy that he thought had long since left his body Katu leapt forward towards the new arrival, his blade ignited as he cartwheeled across the room making up the distance in no time, as his body uncurled from the jump so did his blade coming downwards across the chest of his new enemy attempting to disabe her with the burning power of his blade.

Like Cade, Amaterasu was a practitioner of Soresu, thus was prepared for the strike. Taking steps backward to negate the forward momentum Katu had in his attack, she parried the blade head-on.
The opposing blades hissed as they fought over space, and Amaterasu sternly looked into Katu's eyes. "Have we met before?"
It was a legitimate question, though it was also meant as a test to see how determined this Jedi was in continuing this unexpected behavior. Has she really shown any sign of aggression towards them?

Katu said as he gritted his teeth, his eyes burning a hole in the forehead of his newest enemy.
"But you my dear will be my insurance package"
With that Katu summoned up great swirls of force energy though his body, he delved deep into the recesses of his force power and sent a wave of mind altering force energy towards the Ospion from pointblank range, he disengaged his lightsaber and moved backwards swaying slightly though the sheer exhaustion he had caused himself, it was a pure game of chance, if he could disable the Ospion he could get out with her as his leverage package, his only shot. He just hoped he had picked a fight with a dul lstone of there order......
