((I am putting Alric in the backround here.))

Alric Bram stood with his back to the wall surveying the room. A single press of the alert button on his com would bring numerous soldiers to their aid should the negoitiations turn south. Not that Alric was paying attention to what was actually being said. Politics bored him. Instead he watched the body language of the people in the room. To see who was lying and who was nervous. He fingered the hilt of his father's sword, this was stretching on for hours it seemed....

The sound of footsteps upon steel, followed minutes later by gunfire told Rosemary that there was something going on. When the action ceased, the assassin counted the seconds. As time ticked by, it became clear that it was not a confrontation between the Trandoshan and other vessels. The most likely thing was that their "damaged" ship was destroyed: it is the only thing out in space here that is worth shooting.

That merely meant that there was no turning back. Hell, the Trandoshan ship discovering the faulty vessel in the first place already confirmed that. Rosemary thought little of Altair: he could handle himself.

"I'm guessing that your population, economy, and military also remain under your control, or shall we switch planets where I rule Onderon and you rule Trandosha?" Bosk said.

He didn't really expect the foreign king to go along with it but he was hoping to enliven the conversation a bit. Food might also make the conversation into a more friendly one. While Trandoshans weren't particularly known for their hospitality, it probably wouldn't hurt to offer some food to the guest. So Bosk quickly made a small hand sign to one of his body guards who was a also a cook. While Bosk was unsure of what the cook would make, he figured the cook would cook a cut of carrion spat, a native bird of Corellia.

The body guard then walked out of the room but was replaced by one of the cooking assistants/body guards who had been organizing the inventory beforehand.

"I do not take jokes to heart, infact from you I will take nothing but absolute Servitude in all things, you know my terms and have no room for negotiation, tell your people what I want is now law and punishable by death.....Not a nice death either"

Jagged took a step forward, his eyes gazing into the reptilian consciousness behind the eyes of his foe, He stared into the heart of this man and he dare not blink....Weather he be flying his fighter or negotiating something of this magnitude he would do it in the same way, with absolute intensity and skill.

Bosk pondered his options, while Trandosha did offer him some power, some greater sources were needed to keep the exchange more equal. Fortunately, the previous Onderonian diplomat had flubbed up a bit. While the current Onderonian one was not likely to do so, the mistakes of the previous one were still useful.

"Your reasonable wants will be made law, now what does the reasonable King of Onderon want?"

Bosk was then waiting to see what exactly Onderon wanted from Trandosha. Some things could definitely be provided that Bosk would have little trouble with, others would be out of the capability of anyone on the planet. Bosk was just hoping it wouldn't be ridiculous.

"I will be honest with you, when I say alliance I mean a subjegated population under my control, your population, economy and most importantly military will be under my soul control on all matters, those are my terms and they are completely non negotiate able"

One of the main points of political maneuvering on such a scale was to lay ones cards on the table form the beginning, he knew what he wanted and he always got what he wanted.

((Going to speed ahead with this other portion...))

The Serpent's Howl moved away from the wreckage of the discovered ship, moving at a reasonable speed to allow the rest of the Onderonian vessels to escort it. Landing in the designated hangar, BZ12, the corvette landed, opening its bay while the Trandoshan crew went about the usual docking bay procedures.

Rosemary took a deep breath as the hum of the engines died, alongside the hissing of pressure stabilization taking place. It seems she was not detected, nor was Altair. Good.

Now, was the issue of getting back to where she first started: a high traffic region. It could not be avoided though, since breaching the hull would be too suspicious and the equipment that could perform that are too noisy and bulky to bring along.

The assassin slid towards the door, listening for the sound of footsteps without activating the door's motion sensor that would cause it to open. She heard several some seconds after pressing her ear to the floor, though nothing else. Taking the chance, Rosemary activated her cloaking device and passed through the door. Right behind her was a technician and another Trandoshan.

Mentally cursing herself, Rosemary pressed herself against the wall, allowing the couple to pass. That wasted twelve precious seconds of her generator power. The assassin moved as fast as she could without emitting sound, and situated herself behind a pile of crates as her generator's power failed her.

The crates were close to the rendezvous point that she and Altair agreed upon, though not close enough to allow the assassin to easily slip out. She took refuge behind those crates, waiting for the other to arrive. Although Rosemary worried about the other's bulky armor, she had no choice but to trust him to make it here.

Although the engines of the Serpent's Howl were located at the stern of the ship, with Altair not quite being close enough to notice it's signatory sound, the power distort made an identifiable shift in the electrical systems of the ship. The entire ship was essentially unified via the ship's power generator. With the deactivation of the engines, the remaining systems of the Serpent's Howl briefly fluctuated, almost akin to a quiet surge.

Altair was sitting in ducts of the circulation system. Steam hissed out of his helmet as his suit began exchanging its air supply and reapplying it's internal pressure. Altair took out a small needle of the painkiller solution he used, and stabbed it into a joint location where his suit's armor plates met. He hadn't quite finished treating himself by the time he noticed the brief power buckle. Moments later, he felt the velocity his body'd grown accustomed to dwindle, almost as if pressure were being lightened against him.

As a pilot, he recognized the symptom, if one could call it that. The ship was stopping, most likely to dock or to allow itself to be boarded. Now there was another step to take, rendezvous with Rosemary. Through the vent, Altair could see the patrol guards making their routine rounds. With the ship stopped, the flux of passage would likely increase before it'd do the opposite, especially considering the boarding ramp was towards his destined direction.

Altair quietly pulled the vent into the duct, activated his cloaking device, and made his way toward the ceiling, and down the hall. Like before, he met the same challenges. If he moved too fast, the metallic impact of his suit with the ship would become noticed, even over the ticks and sounds of the ship's electronic systems. Of course, Altair always wore his armor, and consequently, he'd been forced to deal with this issue countless times, mastering it down to an art. But if he moved too slow, his cloaking device would burn out, and he'd be revealed, the greater of the two threats.

Through both scenarios, he continued to face the dangers of light revealing his outline, albeit the threat was considerably lesser than the former dangers. Sixteen seconds into his race towards the end of the hall, Altair began noticing the sections of the wall which formed outward, almost like built-in coulombs. The rays of light from the ceiling were halted via the shield of the coulombs, providing small, but precious sections of shadow.

Before his cloaking device approached it's limit, Altair took refuge in a shadow, and deactivated his cloaking field. Though in a shaded place, he'd still be plainly visible to anyone who looked upon him. Several seconds later, he reactivated the stealth field, and made it to the end of the hall. Turning around the hall's corner, Altair took advantage of the considerably higher ceiling and reduced amount of present light.

From the high ceiling, Altair noticed Rosemary behind a series of crates, though she was a bit off from their initial point. The device had been activated for eighteen seconds, and was still active. Altair made his way down the side of the wall to the ground-level. The guards rounds were often synchronized, a flew Altair both didn't expect, and exploited. There was a small break, a blind spot. Where one appeared, the other did as well, as was the case when one left. The only problem was the brief time in between.

Waiting for the needed break, Altair swiftly made his way over to Rosemary's location as his cloaking field shorted out. "You're a bit off, aren't you?"

"Wandering lizards forced me to halt my progress," she whispered back. She was examining the exterior of the crates when Altair arrived, and got an idea for an entry mode.

"These crates are going to get moved to the hangar soon. Can you fit in one of them?" continued Rosemary.

Altair glanced at the storage crates around him. There were moderately sized. An average sized person could probably manage to squeeze into them, albeit with some difficulty or level or comfortably. With his exoskeleton, he'd probably be hard-pressed to accomplish such a task however.

Altair then looked up to some larger containment storage crates. They were usually for the storage of manned industrial equipment. "I doubt I'd be able to completely fit into these here. The containment crates are larger, and so more practical. I'll go into one of those."

"I'm getting in one of them, too," she said, slipping into one of the smaller crates while a patrol was not present. It was a bit of a squeeze, since she had to fit inside the crate with its contents.

If her predictions were correct, the crates would be moved to the hangar first, then it would be inspected by some officer before being moved to a storage bay. The prime time to move would be during the unloading of crates, since not many guards would monitor a pile of containers.

It took a while, perhaps ten minutes after making herself comfortable inside the box when she felt herself being lifted. There were no grunting and the transition to a sled was rather smooth, suggesting that a droid was performing the task. Even better.

She waited as the droid (or droids) loaded more crates onto the sled, followed by the humming of the loading sled exiting the ship. There are most likely other sleds waiting to unload other crates elsewhere on the ship. The Onderonian navy will be scanning the ship from top to bottom: herself and Altair would be gone long before then.

Since Altair and herself were at the same pile of crates, they should be unloaded by the droids at roughly the same time, which would be perfect to begin moving towards the target. They had the equipment to begin looking, though they cannot waste too much time. Meetings don't last forever.

After the droids finished unloading her crate, Rosemary waited for a few minutes to ensure that no one was paying too close of an attention to her crate, then slowly lifted the entire lid, enough to peer about. There were Trandoshans present, as well as Onderonian soldiers. They were not looking in her direction, save for a couple wandering gazes from the militants farther back. She quickly put the lid quietly aside, rolling out of the box, and waited for several seconds. No alarms: perfect.

Rosemary replaced the cover of the crate, looking about for a ventilation shaft to start her search. There was one, though it was elevated and in plain sight. Without suction pads to do the job, she had to wait for Altair to escape his containment crate.

Ooc: I already said them stupid :CStern:

ooc: You said you wanted them under your control. My character said that you can do what you want with them through Trandoshan law. Is there anything specific that your character wants?

Ooc::CStern:

Jagged bristled under the mention of Trandoshan aw, no law would stop what was about to come. What would be descending onto this stupid lizards cities if he didn't do what he was told.

"Under Trandoshan law? Could you illuminate me on the subject of your petty laws?"
