DEXTERITY: 9/10 - He makes up for his lack of strength in combat with his stunning quickness and agility. He can be very evasive and swoop in for the finishing strike in a blur.
CONSTITUTION: 6/10 - He is "as healthy as a horse," or at least that's what the doctor said during his last visit. His health is that of a normal person.
INTELLIGENCE: 10/10 - He is extremely bright and intelligent. He is very studious and astute. He always thinks through situations and decisions. He is quick to acknowledge other people's strategy and quickly find a better counter-strategy. He is quite powerful with the force due to his intelligence.

PERSONALITY: Mace is very outgoing, but he can be blunt and hard when it comes to people coming up short or making mistakes. He has strength and great force potential; he can get arrogant at times because of this. However, he is loyal and will pursue determined goals with an undying passion.
History:
Life is never easy when one's father crosses a political machine. Mace Jar'Kel had grown up in Coronet, Corellia, always frantic with fear - his father, Gardon, had crossed one of Coronet's most influential political machines: Ulic Wiesenol. Gardon was a journalist for Corellia's branch of the Holonet News. His mission? To uncover Ulic Wiesenol's ties to the Corellian government. Well, he did. That's when the trouble started. As soon the story aired, Ulic sent out his enforcers. Gardon Jar'Kel was a well-paid journalist and could afford a luxurious penthouse with its own private hangar. That night would be the last night he enjoyed in luxury.
In the middle of the night the entire family, Mace, Gardon, and the mother, Lila, were awakened by thunderous knocks on the door to their penthouse. Lila, the first up, went to look through the peep hole. Unfortunately, at that exact moment, Ulic Wiesenhol's enforces blasted the door down with explosive charges. Lila was killed immediately. Upon hearing the explosion, Gardon picked up his three-year-old son and ran to the private hangar. He got to the shuttle, ran into the cockpit and set a course for autopilot. The shuttle would go to the news station on Coruscant, where Gardon had contacts and friends. Along in he shuttle with Mace was a datapad with all of the information relating to Ulic Wiesenhol's political machine and the government of Corellia. Gardon leaped out of the shuttle as it began to take off. He knew that if he went to Coruscant he would be followed, putting his son in even more danger. The shuttle began lifting into the atmosphere, Lance looked out a window and saw a blaster shot ring into the back of his father's head. The body fell limp.
When the shuttle landed in the private hangars of the news station on Coruscant there was quite a ruckus. Everyone was scrambling, wondering what an empty shuttle with a datapad relating to the Ulic Wiesenhol story meant. Everyone assumed Gardon Jar'Kel was murdered. Indeed they were right. It was fortuitous for Mace that a Jedi investigation team was sent to investigate the shuttle. Luckily, Mace was force sensitive; one of the Jedi Knights sensed him, while no one else had. The Jedi then brought Mace back to their monastery on Coruscant. A couple days later Mace was shipped over to Ossus where he began his tenure as a Jedi Youngling.
Mace trained eagerly under the Jedi Masters as a youngling, forgetting about past events because of his young age. Mace was found to be extraordinarily adept at combat, especially with a lightsaber. Although he did not have amazing strength he was fast and knew how to use the force to amplify his combat prowess. At the age of thirteen he finished his training as a youngling and was dubbed ready to be taken on by a Jedi Knight or Master as a padawan.
Before being introduced to a master, Mace ventured to Corellia, Coronet in particular. He walked the streets, visions of that night so long ago began to come back to him. Mace began to become fueled by anger, by hatred. He wanted revenge against Ulic Wiesenhol, who obviously still had influence in Coronet, considering the new building complex Mace was looking at. Lance marched into the headquarters, his saber drawn. His want for revenge and his arrogance proved to be his downfall. The young boy was overwhelmed, his lightsaber taken and sold away. Ulic Wiesenhol met him personally, making sure the boy still remembered the day of his parents' demise. Then, for the icing on the cake, Wiesenhol put Mace up for sale as a slave... or a test subject. Now gone for about a week, the Jedi and the Republic took notice of the missing padawan. It was a year before they had any leads. Once they received a lead saying that Mace was about to be sold to a wealthy family on Brentaal, Jedi Knights, led by Corina Linar, stormed the auction house on Corellia. Mace was badly tortured when they found him, yet still adept in the force and still had fervor in his will. As it turns out, the torture that Wiesenhol's corporation put on him strengthened his will and self-discipline; it quenched his arrogance.
When Mace was brought back to Ossus and fully healed, he was fourteen years of age. It became his goal to live above the snide people he saw in the political machine, to help and fix corruptness in the galaxy while fending off evil. He wanted to protect the galaxy against evil, especially evil which corrupted those into ruthlessly killing and jeopardizing freedom. Corina Linar, who gallantly rescued Mace, took Mace up as her padawan.
Mace trained well under Corina Linar, for many years - he became adept in utilizing the force at his will. He was agile and intelligent, wise in use of his powers. He constructed his own customized lightsaber, its hilt made of rare electrum metal, and its blade a radiant red. Under Corina he was able to fully overcome his past and look forward to the future. His training was slightly halted when several Jedi, including Corina, split from the Jedi Order and made the Ospion Guardians. Making his own choice, Mace followed his master to the Ospion Guardians and hopes to complete his vigorous training under Corina.
