DESCRIPTION​

This armor was initially created by Maalik, with the aid of late Jedi Master Tagetes Cordata. The armor was created to be a light and protect the areas that are traditionally left exposed by a lightsaber. This was to break the boy’s habit of over-reliance on armor plating to protect against blaster fire. In addition, it was to provide Maalik with a way to self-express and was therefore stylized after Jedi armor seen in the era of the High Republic. While no particular species specializes in using the armor, the only set is in Maalik’s possession. The armor itself seems extremely ornate, but in reality most of it is durasteel that was given gold and blue finishes to create an expensive appearance. Due to its construction of durasteel, the materials are relatively common and generally inexpensive. The armor itself can withstand a shot from a light blaster, and a medium blaster with bleed through effects but is rendered useless by heavy blaster fire.

INTENT​

The intent is to create a personalized set of armor for Maalik that fits the motif of the character. Being a blend of High Republic Jedi and Fantasy Paladin. While also being an ongoing project for the character to add to as he grows.
