Born in the Force Eternal era, Lucian had grown accustomed to a hard life. Growing up on one of the moisture farms, he quickly learned, with the help of his parents at first, that complaining got him nowhere. Out in the punishing desert, his family had to learn how to fend for themselves, and they conditioned that mindset into him from the very beginning. Even though the love he received was tough, he still recognized it as love and was grateful for what his parents did for him.
As a lone child in the desert, Lucian usually had to get creative in order to have fun, resulting in his more daredevilish nature. It was on one of his adventures that he discovered his powers, the force that saved not only himself but also one of his friends at the time. The two had sworn the situation to secrecy, but word had spread like wildfire amongst what could be considered his desolate community.
Understanding the dangers that were present and could take place in the future, Lucian's parents realized that he wasn't safe among them anymore. Before it was too late, they had chosen to send him off to the Jedi Order to be trained in their arts, knowing it was the best outcome for him.
