Horus gently guided the Winter's Crest into the port in question, a practically derelict station some ways away from Taris, a location he'd used before as a temporary safe haven. It was far out of the way, enough so that accidentally stumbling upon it was a rare thing. And even if you did, the appearance of the station alone would make any spacer think twice before docking on her. It would appear as though the thing was in disarray, mainly because it was. Horus had docked at one of the only usable ports remaining and landed the ship accordingly. He had already sent out messages to Alliance Command that a potential recruit and turncoat was on board. According to Alliance customs, an officer who had the right to screen potentials would be on their way to see the situation through. As such, Horus waited alongside his companion.

"It shouldn't be much longer. Can't imagine them keeping us waiting."

The Vahla leaned back in his chair slightly, thumbing the lightsabers at his sides. He had only recently constructed them, but they were a literal part of him at this point, connected through the kyber and the Force. His Jedi training had progressed to the point where he had a student and was to be knighted in the near future, a prospect that excited him quite a bit. But for now, he had to make sure that Astrid made her way to Alliance space without too many complications. It was brave enough for the girl to do what she was doing and join the right side of the war, and fight for freedom. The adversity she'd face would hopefully be more lenient than it had been on others, the girl had been through enough as is. As he spoke, he offered a gentle smile but otherwise didn't turn or move in any way. His breathing thinned, and he inhaled deeply, before exhaling, turning completely to face the woman and make sure she was still on board. Silent, this one.

Astridia looked around as they approached their destination. So this was it? This was where she found out who Alika had associated herself with? She could hardly contain her excitement, and her relief. It was finally over. Maybe.

"Hopefully...it goes well."

She looked around, shifting her stance, unsure what else to say. She'd already shared her thanks. What else?

And the freshly minted Rebel Lieutenant Tyler Ward is at the space station that he was asked to come to in order to screen a possible potential GA member. Tyler know who the person in question is, a 'Astridia Kazaczecho'. She is an Imperial Agent that plans on defecting, leaving the Sith Empire in order to fight against them. Tyler remembers back when he was on the same side, a former Imperial agent himself and then left for GA space. It wasn't an easy thing to get in and due to the GA's heavy need for secrecy at the time, he was scrutinized heavily and there was some stigma against him. It was understandable however, because anyone could be a spy or mole. So, despite Tyler having been on that side before, he still has to be diligent when screening Astridia as the Alliance wishes.

Anyways, Tyler brought an Overhead freighter, just a regular civilian vessel and nothing sticking out about it. He had an astromech droid onboard to assist with flying. The out-of-place station came into view as he was flying towards it. It's out of the way and he can see one ship docked aboard it. Looks like that's the Winter's Crest. Tyler's vessel would dock. The station looks decrepit, probably a hair away from falling apart, hopefully that doesn't happen. But still, made for a convenient spot for these kinds of meetings. In any event, Tyler would sent out a hail towards the Winter's Crest after meeting at this pre-arranged meeting place, letting the occupants of that ship know they can get started. If/when they are ready, they would come aboard Tyler's ship.

He sensed another presence before his scanners picked up the incoming ship. He immediately ran it through his onboard database to make sure it wasn't an Imperial search vessel and was happy to find that it was just an overhead freighter, the civilian model. At first, he could've written this off as just anyone, but the timing was too convenient and the fact the ship docked meant it was exactly who they were waiting for. Horus started to collect his gear, throwing his coat over the robes beneath and clipping his lightsabers to his sides, making sure the blaster was still in its holster and forwent bringing his vibroswords. As he was getting ready, a hail signal began to cause a nearby terminal to blink and beep, informing the Vahla that it was time to meet up. They would have to make their way to his ship, which would not be a difficult task. Not too difficult, at least. As he opened the landing ramp and stepped down onto the surface of the station, he turned back to Astrid.

"I'd leave any weapons here, or at least let him know you have them. I doubt anyone is going to try anything, and I'm always here to stop it, but it's a courtesy thing. If the three of us get attacked, I have a spare blaster and a lightsaber, if you can use one."

The Jedi Knight immediately began to move down the corridor, to the left entrance to the docking platform, before finally entering the bay itself and walking up to the landing ramp of their ally's ship. As he carefully walked up to the ramp, he rapped the side of the vessel, knocking three times to let the officer know they were coming aboard. He didn't know who they'd sent, but if he were to guess it was likely a recruitment officer of some kind. That theory confirmed itself when none other than Tyler Ward turned out to be the one piloting the vessel, alongside an astromech droid. Ward had been present at Valentine's trial, as well as instrumental in discovering the betrayals of Master Blackwood. Neither occasions had been exactly good scenarios, and part of the Vahla hoped that it had not soured the rebel's views on all Jedi. He was, after all, Master Luy's student faithfully, and he served the Will of the Force and the right to individual freedoms above all else. Motioning to the woman behind him, he set about introductions.

"Horus Tempest, Jedi Knight. It's good to meet you in person, Lieutenant Ward. This is Agent Kazaczecho, Astridia. She's who we're here for."

Astridia nodded as Horus told her to leave her weapons. The Imperial in her screamed red flags. The better part suggested otherwise. After a brief hesitation, she unclipped her shoulder holster and stuck her pistol in her bike's storage compartment. She scoffed slightly as Horus asked if she could use a blaster...and did he say 'lightsaber'? They started walking and she could do nothing more than catch up, speaking.

"I'm no swordmaster, Horus. Just graduated top of my class in pistol marksmanship. And still hold the record within what used to be my unit. Not to brag."

She attempted to lighten the mood, moments before they were led into another chamber. Horus introduced himself to a new figure. Astrid cautiously stepped forward, outreaching her hands slightly.

"Good evening, sir."

With the two boarding Tyler's vessel things are about to get under way. They would find him in the main hold with the astromech droid in the cockpit making sure everything's good. Tyler would have his arms folded behind his back as the saw the other two come onboard.

'Lieutenant Ward', has a nice ring to it, Tyler thought for a second after it was said aloud.

Back to the people in front of him, he would nod at the two after as they've done their side of the greetings. A Jedi Knight, and the woman is Astridia Kazaczecho, as the Jedi Knight introduced her. "Evening" he said back to the two he staid with a stern expression. He didn't have a whole lot to say really, not even to the Jedi. "Alright, lets get started." he simply said. He would then take out a little voice recorder out of his pocket and then begin placing it on top of a console. "This conversation is being recorded and will be scrutinized. If you aren't being genuine with us about your intentions then appropriate action will be taken." he said after the recorder was switched on, then he would have his eyes on Astridia.

"First question" assuming that Astridia plans to continue with this. "Why? Why do you want to join the Galactic Alliance?" he asked. Usually defectors have a good reason or reasons for wanting to actually defect. Tyler would keep his eyes on her and observe, looking for signs. Like body language in addition to what she says. So far her body language before she spoke to him initial read she was cautious. He also had another question as well he was curious about. "And for that matter, how and when did you two first come into contact?" he wondered as he asked them both, looking at both of them by this point. That is also something that needs to be on the record for the powers-that-be.
