Míriel was a Telerin Elf who spends most of her time wandering the lands between the Grey Havens of Mithlond and Elrond's domain in Imladris. Born centuries past in Mithlond, Míriel is young as Elves go. Considered brash and impulsive by her kin, she is still seen as a child by most elves. As a result she prefers to spend most of her time in the company of humans or even dwarves, at least the ones that would have her company. It is not surprising to see her in the company of the Rangers of the North.

She is armed with a spear, short-sword, and bow. She also carries rations and equipment required for living in the wilderness.

----NAME Deenus Jay Hornblower♦ RACE Southfarthing Hobbit ♦ AGE "Middle aged"​

Deenus Jay Hornblower was a Southfarthing Hobbit from the village of Longbottom. A descendent of Tobold Hornblower, Deenus Jay has followed the family tradition of pipeweed cultivation. Though he practices the art, Deenus Jay is something of a maverick among Hornblowers as he experiments with different breeds of pipeweed and crosses them, seeking new flavors and sensations. Most Hobbit pipeweed cultivators however were traditionalists, carefully maintaining the vigor and flavor of the “‘ol Toby” strain, meaning they looked poorly on his craft. Deenus spends much of his time searching the wilds for new and unique breeds of pipeweed to add to his farm, often wandering the wilds with his two goats, Jim and Marge.

He is armed with a walking stick, dagger, a sling and a bow. He also carries a survival kit, firestarting kit, pipe, and pipeweed

He owns two brown-furred mountain goats, Jim and Marge. Jim carries camping gear, several weeks worth of rations, cooking supplies and spices, fishing gear, and survival gear. Marge carries pipeweed cultivation equipment.

He owns a pipeweed farm at 420 South Toby Lane, Longbottom, Southfarthing.

----NAME Ruthren Packard♦ RACE Gondorian Human ♦ AGE elderly​

— Blurb —​

To use the term ‘wizard’ to describe Ruthren Packard would be grossly incorrect and, by all accounts, insulting to the five real wizards who walked on middle earth. ‘Crazy old magic man’ would be far more appropriate. A former Ranger of Gondor in his youth, he took up learning magic when he was kicked out of the Rangers for not being able to cut it during their training. While told he’d be more situatable to farmlife, his strong penchant for drink and roaming forces him to leave any place he stays in for too long as the goodwill of men only goes so far.

He is armed with a walking stick, an old book, and rations. He also carries a survival kit, firestarting kit, and a lot of wine sacks.

Éolyn was born to a family of rangers that always found a lot of pride from its heritage. The stories of Isildur, Elendil and Anárion were passed down from generation to generation. Born after three elder brothers, she was always in awe of her father's efforts to teach them the ways of combat. She was always told not to pursue such a calling on her own as there was no reason for a woman to take up arms. Nevertheless, she snuck in to train herself in swordsmanship and archery, going against the wishes of her parents.

Tragedy struck the family as winter came and wolves began to attack the town of Tharbad. One of her brothers was killed defending against a large pack of them, and she felt useless at not being able to help defend. Forever shamed by her failure, she trained harder than ever to prove herself in the eyes of her father. Over time, it became clear that he would never see her beyond the gender she was born. When she reached adulthood, he had her betrothed to a man against her will. On the eve before her wedding day, she stole her fallen brother's armor and weapons and fled into the night, seeking out to forge her own destiny and leaving behind the life that would await her if she remained in Tharbad.

Going by Theo, she is armed with a longsword, a dagger, a bow and a quiver of arrows. She also carries a waterskin and a pouch of healing herbs.

Olfand was a ranger of the north who spend the majority of his long life in the wilderness patrolling the outer borders of the Kingdom of Arnor. He was fond of bees and gathered their honey to make honeywine, of which he hid most in the wilderness to make his patrols more durable.

He currently carries a small barrel of his homemade honeywine, some pipeweed (plus his pipe) and a small pan large enough to make a stew for one person. Ofcourse, as a ranger of the north he also has a knife, a sling, a longsword, a bow and a quiver of arrows.

Adathar comes from a long family of rangers who take great pride in the defense of the Northern Realms. As the first and only child of his family, he has always felt a great deal of pressure to live up to the shadow of his father. He has only been traveling the wilds on his own for a few years and is eager to prove himself capable. He has a sharp mind and is ready to learn, but has a great deal of honing yet to do on his skills compared to many veteran rangers.

He is armed with a bow and quiver, short-sword, and hatchet. He also carries rations, spare bowstring, hunting knife, rope, waterskin, flint/steel, whetstone, and a pipe/pipeweed.

----NAME Meribres Took ♦ RACE Fallohide Hobbit ♦ AGE 29​

— Blurb —​

Meribres Took is a Hobbit still in his tweens that has taken up the life of a Bounder to sate the love of adventure that seems to seize the more Tookish members of his very large family. Born in Tuckborough in the shadow of the Great Smial, Meribres has spent most of his youth wandering the fields and farms of the Shire; he proudly boasts that he's crossed from Michael Delving to Stock and from Tuckborough to Brockenborings more times than any Post Hobbit or Bounder living. The Fell Winter has taken him farther afield, however; rumors of the wandering wizard Gandalf north of Oatbarton has led the Bounder beyond the boundaries of the Shire, seeking help for the sick and starving back home.

He is armed with a stout oaken staff, a long dagger from the Mathom House, and a sling and pouch of river stones. He is never seen without the feathered hat that identifies him as a Bounder and honorary Shirriff of the Shire. He also carries a thick robin's egg blue cloak, an earthenware mug, a flask of honeyed mead from the Green Dragon, flint and tinder, a pipe, and several pouches of pipeweed and dried traveling rations.

NAME Vorian ♦ RACE Grey Elf ♦ AGE "Young"

Vorian is a grey elf, an elf out of Lindon from Mithlond. With the increased presence of the goblins and orcs, Lord Cirdan the Shipwright tasked Vorian to scour through the lands of the north in helping deal with this threat. Every orc slain is a victory to Vorian and he wouldn’t stop until they were all purged and fulfilled his duty.

Despite his “young” age for an elf, Vorian showed qualities of his elder kin, remaining patient and observant in situations. Vorian mostly worked by himself when he navigated through the north and he was used to it because of that but he still preferred the company of other elves. Vorian didn’t respect the other races as much, thinking they would slow him down then actually help except the Dunedain. Despite being humans, he had run across a few of them and realized they both had the same objective and were practically cut from the same cloth.

He is armed with a bow, quiver of arrows, two eleven swords, six knives, pouches filled with rations, rope and has a waterskin.

Blurb:

Grateful everyday for having left the life of a nobleman, for the life of a ranger, doing greater deeds for the people, Rowan of Gondor forsook his father's name after seeing his backhanded political dealings. He is a self-trained fighter and survivalist.

Rowan defends the Northern Realms with a hand-and-a-half longsword, and a broken shield effectively as a buckler. He also opts to use javelins, and throwing knives carrying two of each, and carries a short sword as a sidearm.

He wears light leather armor, underneath a brown cloak,with a mail blouse underneath his chest piece. The rest of his armor consists of breeches with leather slats sewn in over the knees, hips and shins. He travels light, keeping an animal skin canteen full of water, and a skinning knife under his cloak.​

Beran has spent most of his life as a craftsman and tinkerer of all form of things from knives, jewelry to small whittled knicknacks and stonework. After his home was overtaken by the villainous the greedy dragon Smaug, Beran took his skills and what supplies he could manage and left to find purpose elsewhere.

He carries with him a small smoking pipe that he made himself, a jewelers glass, tinkerer's tools and a flask that's usually full of mead but could theoretically be used for water.

And although he doesn't particularly go out looking for a fight, Beran is an old dwarf and you don't live to his age unless you know how to take care of yourself. He usually has a a woodsman's hatchet - again, made by himself - hanging from his belt and an everpresent knife in his boot.
