Looking for Work

Once the charter touched down on the landing pad, Josh took his first steps onto Coruscant. He took in a deep breath through his nose. He then surveyed his surroundings. There were all sorts of species of different genders hurrying through Coruscant. He even saw some species he didn't see back home on Ylix.

He noticed a bar North of the landing pad so he set off in that direction. As he walked he kept surveying his surroundings. All sorts of buildings and shops. There's a little bit of everything here for everyone. When he entered the bar it was as if he didn't enter the way everyone kept to their own doing. As he got close to the bar the bartender greeted him.

"Hello there. You must be new around here. I've seen a lot of faces, and remember names easily. What's your name, son?"

"The name is Josh, and I'll have a class of water please. By the way, you wouldn't know of anyone who's in need of a mechanic, would you?" He asked the bartender as he took a seat at the bar.

"I'm sorry Josh, but I can't think of anyone. Feel free to ask around if you wish. Some of the folk in here are nice. Hahaha. But I think if someone needed a mechanic, your outfit would guide them."

"Thanks."

"By the way, the name is Smitty. Nice to meet you."

"Likewise, Smitty."

He sat there drinking his water, relaxing. Hopefully somebody in the bar would need a mechanic. If not, he'd have to try another place at another time.

(OOC: If you are looking for a faction to work for, I have one for you. It's called the Cloak and Dagger. It's mainly espionage based, but we need mechanics and engineers.)

Rhyan sat in one of the darker corners of the cantina. He sipped the drink the service droid had brought him, and watched as people strolled in and out of the cantina. Rhyan noticed a man walk into the cantina and take a seat at the bar. He was wearing mechanics overalls. Rhyan pulled out a small device and scanned him. He waited a few seconds for the device to process and finally a dossier popped up on the screen, with all of the information on this mechanic. Rhyan read through the dossier and was impressed with what he read. His name was Joshua Bane. He was well versed pilot and mechanic. Exactly the type of person Rhyan was looking for. Rhyan stood up and walked over to the bar. He sat down next to Joshua and ordered a drink. He turned and said "My names Rhyan Wolfus. I assume your Joshua Bane. Nice to meet you."

"Do I even wanna know how you know me, Mr. Wolfus? I have no know contacts on this planet. I find it a little, strange, that you know my name without us formally meeting beforehand. Never the less, what can I do for you, Mr. Wolfus?"

Josh didn't know what this character had in mind. He did find it strange the guy knew his name. He's never been to Coruscant before. He must of had a ID scanner or something. But hopefully, this guy had work for him. Otherwise, they'd be wasting each others time.
