Looking for Information :)

Good evening to you all. I recently discovered this site while searching google for a Star Wars Roleplay site, and I had a few question that I could not find the answeres to anywhere. Unless I simply missed them. First allow me to say that so far I find this site extremely well organized, and very...functional. I myself am very interested in creating a character and roleplaying with you all.

Now then on to my questions. I find that beyond limiting the amount of money a new character starts with and what species and planets one may NOT be apart of, that there are no other limitations. Am I correct in assuming this? Are we allowed to start as a jedi? Must we start as a padawan? I'm assuming we must start out low but must we work to become one?

Also what about force powers? I noticed an area with the title but saw no posts within, are we allowed to use any force power if the situation calls for it? And what about saber styles? Is there a list that shows them all that we can choose from?

Hi there :) welcome to the site.

You may start as a Jedi, however, you must start as a Padawan unless you are given permission from the Jedi faction leader to start any higher.

About the force powers I am not so sure what the limits are, and you can learn any form of lightsaber combat so long as it has been invented (For example, Vapaad has not been invented yet in this timeline). I'm sure someone who actually has a Jedi will roll along shortly to further explain.

You can be an independent force sensetive, but on the road to a Jedi you must start off as a Pad. Then you can train to work your way up.

Force powers vary. More advanced force powers for more advanced characters. Same for saber forms.

Do we need permission to join a faction? And what about training? Can we train by ourselves, or do we need to have an actual person train us? I do apologize for these inane questions. I'm new to Star Wars roleplays, usually being on Naruto and Bleach roleplays myself.

I do apologize, ignore the question regarding permission for joining a faction, I read that right after I posted it. But can someone show me this Wiki I'm reading about? I can't find a link.

You will need to post in the Jedi Sign-Up thread if you want to join the Jedi. The faction leader will look over your profile and approve your membership at that point if everything is well. You do need an actual person to train you, and there is a thread where you can post that you are looking for a master.

From what I've heard, the money limit was because someone stated their character had an infinite amount of credits. For the most part, we don't pay too much attention to credits.
