'Old man' had stowed away on a ship to get here. He left the port as there was no where that would let him stay. He roamed the desert with jagged rocks all around. He was looking for anything, a person, water 'Old man' was looking for a person and that was all.

*Ryan swirled his drink around his glass looking into it...Looking past the pure drink to the molecules that made up it's substance...He focused on them....Kept his mind on nothing but them...And used his anger....His new found cource of power....His frustation and such as the drink began to bubble up...Forthing uncontrollable tuntil it poured out of the glass...He stopped with a slight smirk as he returned to his drink...His heavy cloak over his body with his hood in place...All that could be seen was his chin and mouth with stubble all around it...as he did nothing but focus on his drink*

Vast spires of sand and spouting steams went billowing up, up until they toppled like an overwhelming cloud, and lightning came down from it like lashing whips; stricking the ground beneath it. Its wild crest curled and came foaming down and there out of its wreck, Darth Nefarius rose. He was clad in a false form, and dreadful powers abode within. Foul in wisdom, cruel in strength, misshaping what he touched, ever distorting what he ruled; a dark tyrant of boundless powers. And now he came towards his minion, holding forth the banner of his Empire and ruin and despair followed closely behind it, awaiting to be unleashed abroad and bring down the wrath of its master. "Whither thou goest?" He asked, his voice a dreadful echoe, spewing out of rotten lungs, for the Dark Side had devoured him entirely. He was a thrall of it, and everything he bid or did was only to serve its unforgiving will.

The Jedi, Joni Valdora by name, wandered aimlessly, wanting nothing more than to make contact with another being. He had been in a time of hermit-like meditation for many months now, and he now believed himself ready to attempt training of another padawan.

The terrain was not the most barren to be seen, but it was not the easiest on the eyes either. The sun had flown to its highest position in the sky and parched the land off all excess moisture, including that left inside Joni's body. He was thirsty.

The stream was not that far away, and Joni loved the feeling of cool water flowing past his being. As he neared, he sensed a disturbance in the Force, the likes of which he had not experienced in a long, long time. Not since his last duel. It was that of the Sith.

Joni reached the stream up wind of the disturbance so that he could drink without tasting the taint of the Darkside. He would need all the streangth that he needed for the upcomming showdown that Joni was now certain would ensue. Joni only hoped that another enemy of the Sith could be found in time because Joni was certain that he would be overwelmed as it was currently.

((OOC: Sorry I haven't posted))

'Old man' continued walking, he saw a small city. The only bad part was it had a wall surrounding it. He attempted to walk up to the wall before he collapsed half way. He would surely die if no-one found him in time.

Joni immediately ceased his meditating. Someone was in trouble and if they did not get attention (namely water) then they would soon perish. Life to this Jedi meant more than his lust for battle, although that urge was still there, creaping around the corner of Joni's conscious mind, not letting him rest until its thirst had been sufficiently quenched. Quite unJedi of him, to be honest.

Joni raced across the wasteland of this desolate planet (he had long ago forgotten its name) to where the desparate distubance in the Force had emited from. There he found a man, lying sprawled on the ground, resolutely trying to pick himself up again, only to find that, time after time, the lack of streagnth brought on by extreme thirst would not allow him to rise.

Joni quickly uncapped the drinking cantina that was strapped upon the back of his belt, turned the man over, and poured the life giving fluid into his open mouth. "There there, old man, you are safe. I am a Jedi and your friend. Rest for now.
