I know there are some acolytes without any formal training out there. Gienn needs a successor, so if anyone would like, well I think you get the idea.

I'm thinking somewhat more of a mentorship than just a training thread, a mission, and then never seeing eachother again. So if anyone's looking for some character development and depth, that's what I'm going for.

As for specialization, if your acolyte isn't an assassin, that's ok. Gienn is, but he has enough general knowledge to foster any type of Force user to Sithhood. And, as we've seen before, the master and apprentice need not be identical. Look at Sidious and Maul, or even Obi-wan and Anakin. So let's get this rolling. Who wants a mentor?

>.> You mentioned RP. While maybe not a mentor-apprentice one, I'm fine with some kind of connection.

Bane? I didn't like him that much. I think Revan's my favorite. He's just such a badass.

Gloaming, check out my Acolyte's profile. If you believe that it will be a good match from your angle, this is what I am looking for. I must warn tho, Phili'p is going to be a beast when pushed and twisted and manipulated and all that, but as for a willingness to be bad... he lacks that. Tho, he is going to be strictly adherent to the "you don't know the power of the darkside" type of obedience.

-DT

p.s. if that didn't make any sense, it is because i don't know exactly how he's going to turn out... lol.

If the Forsaken thread you have in mind works out, DT, possibilities are that Phil'ip will find himself indebted to Anima... just a bit. <.<

Y'know, I think that profile rocks, and I think he would make a very very interesting apprentice to Gienn.
I'll take him.

Now how do you want to do this? Make a training thread, or should we just do missions and rps together? I was thinking a combination of the three, but if you have a preference, I'd like to hear it. You can pm me if you wish.

Also, in Bane's defense...he's the perfect sith. He directly followed Revan's orders, who is badass and definitely gives Bane points, he's got a super sick name, he created the rule of two (the best Sith rule ever), and he's a huge, bulking figure.

Pfft, please. Krayt could've easily taken over the Empire with just one apprentice, and he would've suspected the betrayal coming. Do you know how fun it is to be dead? Not fun at all.

Yes, but removing the head from the beast is so much easier when there's only two sith. When you have an army of them, the number of successors skyrockets.

Exactly. One hundred of regular acolytes could overtake you. You'd be screwed, and it wouldn't matter how powerful you are, there's a hundred of them. The worst part is, you won't even have a powerful enough successor, at least someone you hand trained deserves to be the new Sith Master when you're dead.

You kept the sig pictures I worked on, Jacq. Awesome.

Bane made the worst rule ever... 'cause a true Sith has no actual apprentice, so much as multiple learners who simply learn and fight each other. >.>

I believe the rule of two is brilliant. Look at what happened to the Brotherhood of Darkness. That could easily happen to even Krayt's One Sith if somebody as powerful such as Bane is there to throw a wrench in their plans.

Maybe... but I still think having a lone Sith, with no successors, is a better method. <.<

I see the Rule of Two as idiotic. I MUCH prefer the way Revan and Malak did it, having a designated master and apprentice, then an army of other dark Jedi, but aren't nearly as powerful enough to be in the same class as the Dark Lord or his apprentice. However, I hadn't considered dark lord, apprentice, then a council of Darths (like this timeline) and then the rest are the army. I kinda like it, though.
