Anoth
0700 Hours Local Time
*It's open but have a good reason to be there.

It had been two years since his parents had died. He had never left the Jedi after the attack on Anoth, though he had not officially been accepted as a Jedi either. There were times he felt like they just didn't have the heart to send him out on his own. He had worked hard and done anything and everything that was asked of him. He loved his Jedi family. He had asked to borrow a ship and return to Anoth on the anniversary of his parent's death, but had been denied saying it was too dangerous and that it was still highly likely that the Imperium was still watching the location.

This had Gavin pacing in his room trying to figure out what he could say or do to convince him that he needed to go. Many Jedi had given up or lost family to be in the Order. Loss didn't make Gavin special, but he didn't have the connection that the other Jedi had. He had waited over a year after the battle to even decide whether or not he wanted to join the Jedi. He had made that decision, but now he waited.

He couldn't let his mother and father down in this. Jedi always taught to follow one's instinct. He knew that this is not exactly what they meant, but he used as justification anyway. He waited until midnight when he was sure most of the halls of Indupar would be empty. He then made his way carefully to the hangar. He found a small ship that he had gotten the codes to a day earlier off another Padawan and took off. He wasn't sure if anyone would notice before he got back. The thought it the back of his mind that this could cost him his shot to be a Jedi was ever present, but that didn't stop him. An astromech droid had made its way into the cockpit of the ship once they had entered space. It chirped protest. "Hey, Relax!" he called out to the droid "Would I have been given the codes if I wasn't supposed to be on this ship?" he asked. It seemed to calm the droid for now. He wasn't sure if anyone would follow him regardless if they caught him or not. I didn't really matter much at this point. The decision had already been made. The hard part was over.

The hours passed and he dozed off and on before he reached the planet. It was around 0700 hours when he landed and the sun was just beginning to peak over the horizon. He wasn't going to go into the ruins or anything, he just needed to be close. "Alright." he said turning the droid "Keep the engines running and have the personal defense turrets ready. I will be just outside. I don't think anything is going to happen, but you can't be too careful." he said before he exited the ship.

The remnants of a storm could be seen on the horizon. He saw the ruins of a Temple in the distance. He felt pain and that familiar anger rise up in his stomach at the thought of what happened here. His parents hadn't even been Jedi. They were bringing supplies, like they had a hundred times before. They weren't apart of this war. He knelt down and idly pick up a handful of dirt as he stared off into the distance. "I'm here Mom. I'm here Dad."
