Christophsis is run by a mercantile oligarchy. Rumour has spread that a small competitor means to assassinate the head of one of the largest guilds. Such an attack would greatly disrupt the planet's commerce and way of life. Get to the bottom of this and prevent the attack from being carried out. Remember: bars that gang members frequent are a cesspool of bragging and gossip.
Objective: Protect the guild leader from being killed and find out who ordered the assassination and have them brought to justice.
Location: Christophsis
Participants: 2-3
Reward: 5,000 credits, 5 Accord Loyalty
Currently Approved:@Darasuum (@Mani Vromm ), @Shalken + @DancingFox @Gazer(left)
OOC Thread: Here

Mani wasn't sure where to start at this point. he looked around the public spaceport at ships coming and going overhead. various cargo and goods being ferried to and from their respective ships and passengers going about their own business. He was here with another member of the Accord. Lesovikk was his name and he had never worked with him before. as far as Mani knew he was an adept marksmen like himself and hopefully up to the task. in the past the Concord Dawn native had worked with less than laudable colleagues.

the man had his helmet under his left arm and his armor relatively clean. a few knicks here and there but other than that he was ready. the two had agreed to meet on Christophsis and decide how to come at this from there. Mani had come from another mission so hadn't been able to pick up the Reshekki. on his way to the planet he had researched what he could just so he had an understanding of who and what he would be working with. this would be his first time working with such a species.

"2000 credits?! What do you mean 2000 credits to dock here?!" Jett wasn't to happy. He landed "The Stallion in a docking bay 20 minutes ago and now they were trying to hustle him out of 2000 credits, thinking he was a suspicious criminal or something. An 80 year old man sat in front of him, yelling at Jett about his ship not being registered in his name. Jett had the thing for most of his journey's, he bought it fair and square. Well, he got it as a gift for smuggling in some contraband to some Lithorians, but who cares?! Jett sighed heavily and flashed his papers in front of the old man. The documents showing ownership of the spacecraft in his name.

"...Look, I'm here on official business, old timer. I'm here for an official meeting with a guild leader on this planet, old man and If they hear that your trying to hustle me out of 2000 credits, their not going to be to happy."

"...G-guild leader's?" The man didn't want to get involved with them. Maybe he was doing something a little "taboo" himself.

"...Oh hooo yeah. You wouldn't want me to bring down the "guild" down on you, now would'ga? Just let me ease by while sliding you, let's say 50 credits and I won't have to bring down the proverbial hammer, eh?" The man looked frightened. "This place must be filled with morons."

"O-ok ok! 50 credits..." The old man looked defeated. "At least if I fail today, I still got to keep 1950 credits.

"Thanks, old timer. I'll be on my way then... Oh and fill'er up." Jett said happily, walking out of the dock and making his way towards the middle of the spaceport, looking for his comrades.

Jett walked out in the giant place, looking around for a man he seen in a dossier. Small but built. Blonde hair. "Aaargh... I'm never going to find this guy... Better walk around and start looking... He sighed. He could be anywhere.

Jett walked around for a while, looking directly into anybody that resembled this man he was suppose to meet. Apparently there was another on this mission but he didn't know much about it. He didn't really read any of the dossier at all anyway. He didn't even know why he signed up for the mission, he's a smuggler not a trained cowboy.

Suddenly he spotted a small man standing in the spaceport. Small. Check. Blonde hair. Check. Helmet in hand and armor on as if he was going into combat? Yes sir. Maybe this was him? Jett moseyed on over to the fellow, hoping for the best. He stood next to the fellow, looking non-nonchalantly into space and scratching his long hair.

"...I'm looking for a... Many Vroom? You him?" He didn't mean to mispronounce his name, he just didn't remember what the mission briefing said about him.

Every mission has its obstacles, no matter how easy they seem. Lesovikk agreed to participate in this mission primarily because his skills were moderately rare to come across and invaluable for these kinds of operations. However, there was one major setback: this particular Reshekki was a former high-profile assassin, his most recent hit under the moniker of 'Wraith' being a governor of the neighbouring planet Farstine. Although Christophsis certainly wouldn't have a search warrant for him and Farstine's officials would have no jurisdiction, he was far from safe; mercenaries, assassin hunters, and vigilantes could always come searching.

Realizing this, Lesovikk made sure to dock his interceptor Ash far outside the city limits, taking conventional transportation to reach the designated spaceport to meet his colleagues. Leaving the civilian transport, the Specter Cell agent detached his scout drone from his back, powering it up and throwing it into the air. Dropping a few feet as it unfolded and engaged its repulsorlifts, the drone ascended quickly into the air above the busy platform. Confirming the successful deployment, Lesovikk backed away into a secluded corner of the spaceport, staying mostly out of sight.

Soon, TALOS piped in, "Alright! Audio/visual imput, check...scanners, check...facial recognition online. Now, who are we looking for?" Pulling up records from his gauntlet holoprojector, Lesovikk scanned over the data of the two agents. Jett Starr: good pilot, prefers to work alone. Mani Vromm: ex-Ranger, sniper, also likes to work alone. This should be interesting. Feeding the information to his AI, he scanned the crowd nonchalantly, increasing the strength of his visor's tinting. Reshekki eyesight isn't very strong in bright lights, and Christophsis' sun was no exception. "Aaalright, commencing scan...heh, that was easy. Looks like they're waiting for you, as usual." Feeding the information to Lesovikk's helmet, the location of his comrades were pointed out on his visor a short distance away.

Hefting his rifle, Lesovikk approached the two Accord agents. "Agents Starr and Vromm, correct? Agent Faust, Specter Cell. Ready to hunt the hunter, yes?"

"...I'm looking for a... Many Vroom? You him?" the man heard a voice off to the side of him. Mani saw a dark haired man who would be still in his late twenties if he had to guess. the Concord Dawn native looked him up and down, noting his clothing and figured him to be the pilot he was meant to meet with and work alongside. not a moment later he saw a much shorter individual but more exotic in appearance. this he knew to be the Reshekki called Lesovikk Faust. "Agents Starr and Vromm, correct? Agent Faust, Specter Cell. Ready to hunt the hunter, yes?" again the man analyzed the being's appearance and noted the long weapon the being carried along with him before nodding.

"It's pronounced Mah-nee Vrah-mm, Starr." he corrected the man who had spoken first before replying in turn to the avian individual with a slight smile. "suggestions on where to start?" the man wanted input from the others before just heading off in search of some would be attacker. he had dealt with anti-terror units and preventative assassinations as well but didn't want to condescend or take lead since this was his first time working with these fellow Accord members.

Jett looked perplexed for a moment, digesting the man's name. "Mah-nee Vrah-mm...? Tomato Tamato"I guess". Jett threw up his arm's a little in disinterest. He never really liked to work with people but at least he was getting paid. He sat there for a moment, thinking of the next move when a bird guy walked up to them. He was armored head to toe by the looks of it and didn't hesitate to enter their "conversation". "That's a digi-mon if I ever saw one". Jett came to the conclusion quickly. He couldn't help but notice that the bird guy could probably kill him without hesitation but hey, they could never know what he thought in his head right?

Mani was quick to ask Agent Faust what their next move might be. Jett had no clue as to what to do next, so he would let them figure it out. After all, Jett wasn't completely versed in this type of work. And he wasn't exactly tactical or stealthy... or military trained or a good shot... So he let them continue.

Wasting little time, Lesovikk pulled up a holographic data screen from his gauntlet, showing the information on the attack. Being a previous assassin, he was easily able to look at the data from their opponent's point of view, allowing him to more easily predict their next move. "Rrrkk, Guild Leader scheduled to arrive at this spaceport in an hour. Will be transported directly to office; heavily guarded, makes killing difficult. Enemy will probably try to intercept here, will make it look like accident with explosions instead of blaster fire. Need to watch for enemies with rocket launchers, thermal detonators, grenades, and torpedo launchers."

Deactivating his hologram, he looked up to his companions. "I can have drone scan crowds for suspicious movement and unconcealed weapons. Vromm and myself can post ourselves in different high ground locations, while Starr keeps watch on platform." Although Lesovikk was capable of working in a team, he realized that all three of them best worked alone. He hoped that having each one survey their own portion of the spaceport would at least provide a semblance of independence. "Report if you find target."

~
The hour since their meeting was almost up. To the Reshekki shiper, nothing on the spaceport seemed amiss; so far, at least. Knowing that he could not possibly survey an entire landing platform on his own, he trusted his fellow agents to keep a sharp eye as well. Even as the thought crossed his mind, the Guild Leader's personal yacht flew in, landing in a free bay on the spaceport.

Listening to the strange voice of the Lesovikk, Mani couldn't help but stare somewhat. Most of the people on Concord Dawn were human and the rest were near-human. The man had met a number of strange species but most were /main stream/ compared to the Reshekki. But the armored man still took in what was being said and signaled by nodding before replying.

"If the tangos are decent they might try to make the initial move a distraction." He pointed at where Lesovikk had stated the first contact might be tested. To beat a criminal before they committed a crime Mani had been forced to think like them before. This had allowed him to apprehend a number of assailants before, now it came in pretty handy on missions like this. "If I were trying to take this VIP and i had the resources i'd make a distraction apart from the immediate location. Something big and close enough to call law enforcement units away from the immediate area but far enough away that they wouldn't be able to get back in time." The armored man scanned the hologram a moment longer before continuing.

"We can't sneak the VIP to the office, not enough time, planning or ideas." He slightly sighed at his own statement wishing they had more of a heads up on this mission but it couldn't be helped. "Initial contact will be hard and should be considered a real threat but the VIP should not be considered safe until at his office where it is secure. You can try and do as much as you can with your drone and I'll do the same with mine but there are just too many faces for us to cover them all, especially if theres more than a handful." His last statement had a hint of annoyance as well as frustration. They didn't have much help from local authorities and if there was a distraction like he predicted the local enforcers would be forced to deal with the immediate threat. Three agents from the Accord were supposed to out think and out maneuver an unknown force aiming to kill a Guild Leader who would be passing through a major metropolitan area. Other than his own input he agreed that he would find a high vantage point and keep an eye on any potential assassins from his perch. It was times like these he was glad he had UA-8 jumpers on his legs. If he needed to move from rooftop to rooftop.

"Mhmm, mhmm..." Jett let off an attempt to seem like he grasped the situation. It didn't quite allude him but he couldn't help but wonder why, if the Vip was under attack, they would have him out in the open like this. It didn't matter how many security guards they had, there was simply precautions that needed to be in place before just giving off the whole "We're going to up man power instead" routine. Something didn't seem right about this whole situation...

But Jett almost immediately waved it off as his intuition messing with him. What he needed to do was not fail here. The guild leader needed to be "Alive" in order to get payed. Which was, the only reason why he signed up for this mission after all.

"...Wheelp, since I'm the only one here that has any sort of camouflage, I can stay towards the edge of it all and give my vantage point to both of you from the streets. Since, you know, I don't have a nifty gun that can shoot past 300 meters." Jett scratched the back of his head and wiped his nose, thinking about where he could sit and hold a newspaper over his face.

"If this guild leader had any sense of his life being in danger, he wouldn't show up on a huge yacht that screams "Look at me! Someone's trying to kill me so I painted a target on my own forehead!" Jett sighed, this was going to be a long day.

After sitting on a bench with a clear view of the spaceport for about an hour, Jett took the cigarette in his mouth out and flicked it. He put his hand on his crossed leg and pulled out his communicator. He was getting anxious. Everything seemed perfectly normal from his point of view. Nobody walking around with a giant rocket launcher or anything. Soon, the Guild Leaders ship arrived. A giant yacht that made his piece of crap look like... well a piece of crap.

"Nothing seems out of place here... But I can't shake the idea that we're missing something important... Can we just hope that nothing happens and we get paid anyway?" Jett said into the comm, hoping he didn't dial the wrong people. He had a clear view of the spaceport and was about 100 meters away from the dock where the yacht landed. This was it.

Lesovikk took into consideration his companions' points that there would most likely be a distraction. Having worked primarily solo as an assassin, such a tactic, though effective, was foreign to him. But now, as the glistening ship of the Guild Leader arrived, he realized that such a strategy was not only smart, but also likely.

The sharply-dressed man, his suit embroidered and unmistakable, stood out like a sore toe amongst his entourage as he made his way down the loading ramp. Tensing up, Lesovikk scanned the crowds; this was the moment, the window of opportunity. If anything was to happen, it was now.

As if on cue, an explosion went off to the left of the ship - but it was too small. The distraction. It must have been a thermal detonator or other small explosive, but it had done its work on the guild leader's hapless security as they shuffled about to face the blast, pushing the man back into the ship.

Just then, a small speeder passed by, almost too small and inconsequential to notice. The one thing that stood out, however, is that it was flying against the flow of traffic, and way too low to the spaceport. TALOS blared over the comms, "Torpedo launcher on that speeder, two o'clock! TAKE HIM DOWN!"

it all happened very quickly, it always did. first he heard Jett make his own statements over the comm-channel they had open between the three of them. but then not a moment later an explosion went off just as Mani had predicted. the next thing that Mani knew was happening was him looking down the scope of his Dawn Striker sniper rifle. his own experience allowed him to notice the speeder with a weapon mounted on it. the man heard another voice stating it was a torpedo launcher. he wasn't an expert on such weapons but he knew it was pointed in the direction of the Guild Leader. just as Talos's sentence ended the shot from Mani's rifle struck the assailant in the chest, knocking him clear from the speeder. his body continued for several meters outside of the speeder because of the forward momentum of the speeder. the man continued to follow through and fired a secondary shot through the driver and then followed it with a third to make sure. the speeder careened off and slowed for a few moments but struck a barricade making the vehicle stop in its tracks violently.

Mani drew his weapon away from the attackers only after local law enforcement got close and he was sure that the attackers were neutralized. that didn't mean they wouldn't try from another place. movement on a balcony as one figure came out. but he wasn't alone. the two beings carried a large tube that Mani's gut told him wasn't a telescope. aiming down his sight he inhaled calmly. already he was making calculations on the potential shot. the first man loaded a rocket propelled grenade into the tube but Mani fired a shot into his neck making him crash through the sliding glass door behind him. his partner stood for a moment before trying to scramble back inside but before he even crossed the threshold he had a high velocity blaster bolt in his back sending him flying. though they could have been the only ones the man continued to scan the windows and the other sectors.

A certain Ra'jhan H'Skirr, wearing a green silk longcoat over an expensive grey armorweave tunic, matched with loose trousers tucked into high black boots, and just as silver tongued as the majority of his species, had been gathering information while this all transpired. More specifically, he had been sitting in a classy establishment in the northern quadrant of the city, sipping away at some fine Correllian vintage while he discussed the political situation with a member of that esteemed Merchant Oligarchy. They were a breed that he was quite familiar with, having been raised in the same environment. Contrary to what his family believed, he /had/ payed attention to those lessons on etiquette and, shall we say, diplomatic techniques.

It was with faked interest that he listened to the high placed and desperately inebriated accountant moan about the woes of finding the men and the resources to manage his bosses' special projects, but his overlarge ears perked rigidly as the man leaned forwards suddenly, nearly spilling the Nalroni's drink into his lap, and slurred out,

"You're from offworld, you don't kriffing care, do ya? You're just here to make a quick mark, but you've been reeeeeal friendly with me, so lemme share shome advice."

The playboy turned mercenary discreetly moved his glass away from danger and then arched an elegant brow. "You might say that my interests could intersect with your own." It certainly wasn't a lie by the definition of the word, and being technically truthful is the best kind of truthful.

"You wanna shift your tail. Get in on Guild Baryon's shares while they're cheap." He snickered and then lowered his voice to a low rasp. "His competitor is gonna be taking a dive on his way home." He managed before slumping over as the drink took full hold of his senses.

Ra'jhan finished off the rest of his drink and gave the fallen fool a disdainful look. His next act was to scrawl out a note on a napkin, instructing the waiter to put it all on the drunkard's tab, and head out of the establishment into the brightly illuminated upper class district. It was time to make a call to his companions. "Agent Hessar here," his given name to the Accord, "sorry about the radio silence. I was in cover. Someone make sure our mark doesn't use his regular vehicular transportation. It may be sabotaged. In addition, I have a lead on who's calling the hits. If either of you have computer access, I need what you can get on Guild Baryon. I'm a bit of a distance off."

The Reshekki was impressed with Mani Vromm's quick taking out of both the initial speeder and the other two assailants in the nearby building. Deciding to follow the speeder with his scope, he spotted the driver crawl out of the crashed vehicle. "Cover me; pilot still alive. Going to confront."

Lowering himself down from his perch, Lesovikk made his way onto the main platform. However, due to his small stature, the civilians were constantly bumping into him and nearly knocking him over as they scrambled about in fear and confusion. "Heh, Christophsians. What a bunch of losers. Always in a big rush to get from something stupid, to nothing at all. Pathetic," TALOS mocked. His frustration rising, Lesovikk knew he didn't have time for any of this. Taking in a deep breath, he let out a horrendous roar, causing the crowds to back away from him. Finally having space, he shoved his way through the hapless citizens toward the smoking wreckage. The pilot was initially nowhere to be found, but a trail of blood followed by a low coughing easily revealed his location. Grasping the man's collar, Lesovikk barked at him, "Who is your employer? Who hired you? Answer!" The pilot let out a raspy cackle as he smiled grimly, "You Accord bastards will find out soon enough." With that, the pilot drew a holdout blaster and fired a shot into his mouth. Snarling in disgust, the Reshekki headed back towards the center of the platform, informing over the comms, "Pilot is dead. No hint about employer."

Just then, Hessar updated the team on the information he had gathered. TAL chimed in, "Got it, I'll scan the local databases for anything on Guild Baryon." With this new information revealed, Lesovikk approached the circle of guards holding back the citizens away from the guild leader. As they made to push the Reshekki away as well, he growled, "Accord agent. Let me speak to him." Nodding, the security detail let him through, though several kept a watchful eye on him. Approaching the frightened man, Lesovikk cautioned, "Life is in danger. Accord agents are investigating as we speak. Recommend you take taxi or commercial shuttle; your personal transports may be sabotaged." Nodding nervously, the man wiped the sweat off his bleach-white face. "T-thank you. Guards, c-call a limo."

"Cover me; pilot still alive. Going to confront." he heard the Reshekki say over the communications channel. "Copy." he said singularly to communicate he was keeping an eye out for any potential threats directed at his team-mate. the man had acquired the nickname Sixer because of the overwatch he provided for anyone he was protecting. he had a reputation as a proficient counter-sniper in the past. He flinched as a loud roar came over the comms channel, perhaps Lesovikk had forgotten in his frustration he was still on open comms.

"Pilot is dead. No hint about employer."
he announced a few moments later. Mani noted his change in position as he got closer to the VIP. at first it was delayed by the guards but he got through. they were sensible to be hesitant but Lesovikk was there to assist. "You go with the guild leader, i'll acquire separate transport and meet you at his office. it would be best if one of them stuck with the guild leader to keep an eye on him so he didn't do anything out of fear that would make things more difficult as well as keep an eye out for more threats.

once they were inside a shuttle that was on the move the armored man headed to a taxi he had called a few moments before. people were milling about, some hysterically while others were just curious as to the commotion, wanting to get a personal eye on the situation that would be all over the evening news. the driver paused at the sight of the armored man but he flashed a few extra credits and let him know he was with the Accord. "Drive like you want that tip." he said a moment after his hound drone swooped into the open door of the vehicle which he promptly closed. though the ride would be short the drone had surveillance capabilities and he would go over any details he may have missed in route to the destination.

Ra'jhan was quite a fashionable fellow. His garments were made of the finest materials, and expensive ornamentation grace his ears, fingers, and neck. Flamboyant would be a good word to describe him at this moment, and he loved every moment of it, however even he recognized when he wasn't dressed appropriately for the job. He shut off the comm and let out a soft sigh before padding out to his luxurious speeder, feet making little sound as he went. There was a certain predatory grace that he carried himself with. Even his ostentatious finery and courtly manners couldn't completely conceal the deadly weapon that he had forged his body into. Sheathing a vibroblade in a clean white napkin didn't make it cutlery, and it looked odd if examined too closely.

It was with that in mind that he climbed into the vehicle and directed it towards an abandoned lot on the outskirts of the quadrant. Down an alley he ducked, a large case rolling behind him. It took him a few minutes, and a momentary annoyance in the form of a transient eyeing his exquisitely honed body, for him to switch from the noble finery into the modified UAI-19 Combat Armor that he wore into combat. The material of the armor had been finely worked into hundreds of scales about an inch across, and the helmet had been remodeled entirely. It was shaped into the likeness of a Krayt Dragon, and the two backwards slanted horned contained the Nalroni's ears, conveniently hiding his species without causing discomfort. In addition to his usual rifle and pistols, he supplemented his gear with two straight edged, single-bladed short electroblades, one strapped to each thigh.

When he finally deigned to acknowledge the drifter's presence, he found no one there, but a small selection of currencies summing up to five credits. Very amusing. He'd have to find the man later.

"Agent Hessar here, do you copy? I'll be rendezvousing with you on the way to our mark's offices. On my way now." The man spoke in his typical cold voice, void of inflection.

He climbed back into the speeder and started driving.

"You go with the guild leader, I'll acquire separate transport and meet you at his office." "Agent Hessar here, do you copy? I'll be rendezvousing with you on the way to our mark's offices. On my way now." "Copy that, will escort guild official." Turning to the trembling man beside him, he asked, "Requesting permission to accompany you to office. Companions are traveling there to discuss potential suspects behind this attack." The man, still in slight shock, nodded jerkily, mumbling his thanks.

The Accord agents' efforts to arrange different transport were not fruitless; Lesovikk and the official arrived at the towering crystalline skyscraper without incident. The three agents were escorted into the main office of the guild official, who had calmed down considerably by now. Seating them all at a table and providing refreshments, the man began, "Thank you for saving my life, gentlemen. If not for you, I would probably be very dead right now. Is there anyone that you know of that could have organized this attack?"
Pulling up a holographic display on his gauntlet, Lesovikk sifted through some data that his AI had gathered earlier. Thanks to Agent Hessar, we have a lead. Points to Guild Baryon as responsible. Gathered some data as we were traveling...sir, what area of trade to you and Guild Baryon oversee?"
"Well, we both deal in trade with Hutt space. We're competitors. But we've been working alongside each other for years, why would he lash out now?"
Looking over the data, Lesovikk frowned. "Rrrkk, suspected as much. Data shows evidence of Baryon working with the Shadow Syndicate."
"The Shadow Syndicate? Who are they, what do they want?"
"Scummy crime organization. Good at what they do. Constantly pester the Accord and nearby systems when they can. They have a hideout in the city." Looking to his companions, he sent the data he had gathered to their holocomms. Looking back to the official, he added, "And we plan to take them out."

it was a short trip, the driver didn't want to carry the armored man in the state the city was in. as Mani had stated he gave the civilian extra credits for his troubles before joining his companions and the shaken guild leader inside. he was thanked and supplied with a beverage which he took a sip of after removing his helmet but refrained from drinking much more. it was when he heard the Shadow Syndicate spoken of that his ears perked up and he shifted his stance.

the Sector Rangers had dealt with them indirectly, but they had been crafty and gotten away with most crimes that would have otherwise been linked to them. they were not an opponent to take lightly. "And we plan to take them out." the words were followed by Mani sliding a new power pack into his rifle for emphasis and affirmation towards the Reshekki statement.
"They probably hired simple thugs and street gangsters from the local area and supplied them with weapons. those guns they had wouldn't be easy for regular ol' scum to acquire." he announced as his observation, adding to Lesovikk's assumption of their enemy. "do you know where the guild leader is? he wanted to know if they could go straight to the source of the hit as well as keep tabs on everything if they went after another lead.

Ra'jhan's trip was also notably short. He was already situated in the trade district, here synonymous with the rich and decadent upper class that ruled this system. The ride was pleasant, and the mercenary even allowed himself a brief smile as he played a musical piece through the sound system of the speeder. It was an odd piece, a somber melody that conjured images of the wind wailing through caverns devoid of life and then sweeping over vast plains, rustling through endless fields of grass... Hell, what was he doing? Could he get more edgy? The mercenary shook his head ruefully and then switched over to something else, filling the speeder with the sound of fast paced electronic music.

Before heading inside, he removed his helmet and tucked it in the crook of one elbow. It wouldn't do to agitate whatever defenders this place may have by making his first appearance that of a raging Krayt Dragon, loaded with armaments as he was. They might take him for an attacker before they noticed the Accord Insignia pinned to one shoulder. As it turned out, the insignia and his frosty glare granted him access rather easily. What pitiful security. The badge could have easily been a fake.

When he arrived at the office and settled into the chair provided, his companions got what was likely their first real look at this new addition to the Accord. Light grey fur covered a long and narrow muzzle, flowed over an angular face, and sheathed long pointed ears that were currently rigid, slanted back at a sixty degree angle. He had the body of an athlete, perhaps a cross country runner, as the visible portions of the form fitting bodysuit beneath the armored plates of his armor quite happily put on display. An intentional choice from the look of it, and one that conveyed a certain amount of pride that had crossed into vanity. If it had, none of it showed in the cold golden hued eyes that examined each person in the room and then methodically filed away the details for later reference.

His companions spoke; he himself remained silent. The quiet man had no need for words to sooth their employer or flashy shows of readiness. Of course, just because one speaks no words does not mean one is not contributing. While the others conversed, he made small motions at the holographic display being projected from his wrist, and when silence finally fell, his soft, near feminine, and toneless voice filled the void. "I know where the Guild Leader is, but he is irrelevant to this plot. He has been paid to send his operatives. Lesovikk is correct. By slicing into Guild Baryon's accounts with the means thoughtfully provided by our drunken friend, I've followed the trail of credits to Telennon Spire." He removes a small datacard, a dataspike to be precise, from his bracer computer and tucks it into his pocket. "Our shadowy friends seem to enjoy stretching towards the light of the stars. It does, admittedly protect them from open assault, seeing as collateral damage is quite likely in the tightly packed business district of Deirdrich City." He pauses, looking for recognition in the eyes of his companions, before continuing. "It's on the southern continent. I will upload the information to you."

The guild official, still slightly on edge from the encounter, jumped visibly as the power pack slid into Mani's rifle. "W-well, you fellows seem quite prepared for this sort of thing."

Looking over the data of their target's headquarters, Lesovikk motioned to Ra'jhan and Mani. "Come. Work here is done, must now hunt the hunters." Before leaving the room, he turned to the jittery man. "Double security. May help to keep you alive until we are done."

As they headed down the lift towards the building's hangar, the Reshekki sniper spoke his mind. "Getting into Telennon Spire may be challenging. If headquarters are at top of building, every floor will be heavily guarded. Too many casualties. Frontal assault will be useless. I recommend breaking in from speeder to confront leaders directly; they will not expect it." Finishing his plan, he looked to his companions inquisitively.

for the most part Mani stayed silent. he observed the person they had been sent to protect tremble in shock at the attempt on his life that had been made. civilians of worlds other than those in the Mandalorian sector for the most part seemed ill equipped to deal with conflict in the same manner as those from his home planet. he couldn't hold it against them, it wasn't their fault they were raised to have subconscious afflictions and sensitivities.

"You saying we should steal one of there's or forgo that and just get any ol' airspeeder, crash into the buildings? seems kind of...sloppy." the man wasn't against the plan but he prefered precision and knowing the angles. he prefered to keep his foes at a distance but he had fought in some -too close for comfort- situations before. Mani had a feeling this could be one of those situations. Lesovikk had looked at both of them and now the helmeted man turned to the third member of the group who hadn't spoken since they entered the lift.

The jackal faced individual glances between the two other Accord agents, a furred bone ridge above his left eye, stained with black dye, rising in imitation of a human's questioning expression. As the silence stretches for a moment later, and the scrutiny doesn't abate, the Nalroni lets out a snort of breath from his nose and leans forwards, jaws parting slightly to emit his slightly feminine voice. "What need is there to strike from the bottom or from the sides? The skies above offer many opportunities for the adventurous mind, no?" The man displays his teeth in a faux smile. "One could always drop down on their roof from above, if one wished to opt for a quieter entrance. Of course, security and defenses of this spire should be studied before it is struck. I am no slicer, and I have no date from which to gain access from this time. It will likely have to be physical reconnaissance unless you two have a better idea. Perhaps to find one of their guards on break and interrogate them?" Those teeth flash again, the expression not reaching the man's eyes as he settles back against the wall of the lift, arching his back ever so slightly to present an unadulterated view of his physique.
