When I hear myself speak I often remind myself of Vsiil Glegor, my grandfather. A successful entrepreneur, Grandpa Glegor was regarded by the local, planetary, and sector communities as an idol, and a man that should be a source of inspiration and a figurehead for our Youth. As I read about my family, and especially as I grow older, I find that that I believe these stories more and more. My family was full of inspired people. But when I was much younger, I did not think of my Grandfather in that way.

Indeed, I remember the cranky old man who did little other than complain about governmental sanctions and the newest sprout competition that thought they could survive in the "big leagues." He was a ruthless Khil, hated those that opposed him, and crushed those who stood in his way- that was why he enjoyed such immense success, I would imagine. That isn't what reminds myself of him, though. The man who complained of days long gone by- of days that were far glorious than the ones that we currently inhibit. I speak of lost times as he did, although to be sure they were immensely different.

Once upon a time, I was a Planetary Senator.

And then, later on, Belnar's Representative to the Galactic Alliance Senate.

Yet, even that was not far enough, as I also served as the Chair on the Committee of Foreign Relations.

The times of the institution that I served, however, are over. The Galactic Alliance has fallen to the hands of the New Sith Imperium, a ruthless Empire that knows no mercy. They did more than fall, in fact- they were obliterated. It was a total victory for the Sith and their Imperial henchmen, and anyone who tells you anything different would be highly mistaken.

Trust me.

I was there.

I saw Coruscant burn.

Indeed, the Alliance is dead. The Sith rule the galaxy. And now all any of can do is hope. Hope that someone will stand up to their oppression. Hope that someone can organize enough to throw the tyrants off of their blood-tainted throne. The Galactic Alliance had its fair share of problems, it's very true, but that by no measure means that they were incapable of their job. We worked for the people. We almost died for the people. With them. Along side of them. At the hands of the Sith.

We need a beacon.

A hero.

A light in the darkness.

And whoever, whatever that is, will have me by their side. Not only me, but any and all who can see through the propaganda of the Sith. All who can stand up to fight this tyranny. A galaxy, united again to reinstate peace and democracy. But that's a long way off. The Sith are in power, it is just a reality that I- and many others like me- simply have to come to terms with.

But one day.

One day that will change.

Liile Glegor was born into a traditional Belnar Khil family. A mother, a father, one sister and Liile, a hard-working middle class family with enough lenience to achieve a higher social status through his own hard work and determination. It was in this environment that the young Khil flourished, excelling through the difficult work load he took on throughout his schooling tenure. It was during this schooling Liile also took on his first job, working as a volunteer in a local politician’s election office. Achieving a perfect balance learning and working, Liile achieved commendations both at the office and in his formal schooling institute. He received top honors and later graduated third in has class of several thousand, as well as being promoted to an office manager and after graduation becoming an adviser for the Khil Politician.

The politician, Fama Gorceau, continued to excel in the field of politics. Liile, recognizing her ability and popularity, continued to serve the politician as one of her top advisers. The ticket moved stealthily through the tough rigor of Khil politics, methodically gaining greater prestige and higher offices. After several years of working for her, Fama promised Liile her endorsement for one of her old positions if he would run for the nomination and election. The relatively young Khil saw a beautiful opportunity and graciously accepted the challenge and endorsement, announcing he was running for Sector Senator immediately after Fama made her acceptance speech for Galactic Senator at a major political rally. The young politician became an immediate favorite for the election and won with a landslide. Working hard for the best interests of his people, while pleasing the correct and legal amount of private sector businesskhil, Liile’s first term was highly successful, and the hardworking Khil was paid in full with another and higher leveled seat.

Liile continued to sustain this high level of politicking, making more friends than he did enemies. Fellow politicians enjoyed his presence and appreciated his hard work, his constituents loved him for the laws and statues he put in place for their benefit, and private investors and entrepreneurs found new freedoms that would lead to large growth in their investments and businesses. The hard work paid off, and Liile continued to raise in status. Fama Gorceau, deciding to move into the private sector after long years of hard public work, called a press conference to deliver the news. In this speech, however, she challenged Liile Glegor to run for the position at the end of her term a year later. Publically announcing a week later that he accepted Senator Gorceau’s challenge, Liile began the campaign for his election as a Galactic Senator for the world of Belnar.

The election would be easily won in 1011 for the relatively young Khil, in no small part due to his hard work and strong connections. The victorious Senator would travel immediately to Coruscant to assume his position. Upon arriving, he was assigned to the Foreign Relations Committee. Not more than few months later, he would be voting to impeach and remove Congressman Hunebar for starting the war with the Mandalorians. In the coming weeks, due to his immediate plunge into work with the committee, he was appointed Hunebar's successor; the chairman of the Galactic Alliance Foreign Relations Committee. Working hard with his committee, the senator orchestrated a meeting with the warring Chiss; one that would with any hope end one of three wars the Galactic Alliance now found themselves in the middle of.

The tenure of Liile Glegor as a Galactic Alliance Senator was a very successful one. Eventually, the Belnar senator would be appointed the Foreign Relations Committee Chairmanship, taking over after an odd milling-about post-Hunebar. He enjoyed mild success within the position, but the popular opinion of the war and the perceptions of the Galactic Alliance made his ability to broker agreements some what impaired. Putting duty first, Senator Glegor and Prime Envoy Gracelyn Maier took a chance in meeting with Chiss Ascendancy representatives to attempt to bring a peace agreement between the two Alliances. They Chiss betrayed them, morphing the Prime Envoy into a horrible mutated Rakghoul after a firefight that lost Glegor the bottom part of his left arm to a lightsaber.

After his eventual release from the Chiss Ascendancy and rather quick recovery, Senator Glegor continued to work as Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, even in the face of defeat at the hands of the New Sith Imperium and their allies. The representative of Belnar was in the Galactic Hall during the Battle of Coruscant in 1013, refusing to flee, but instead arming himself and standing with the other defenders. He was severely wounded during the battle, and only retreated after the deaths of both the Jedi Grand Master and the Galactic Alliance Chief of State.

Escaping Coruscant, the Khil assumed the name Gilan Dulnor. Disappearing into obscurity, as the official report announced him deceased, the ex-Senator would wait for that hope. The promise of a dawn of a new age, free of Sith, and for the glory of democracy. Realizing that his ways of solving problems was no longer applicable, however, the focus of the once-diplomat began to change. With access to multiple accounts, the Senator infringed upon what would have been law to take everything he could. Hiring technical consultants, he was able to disassociate the money with himself and the Galactic Alliance.

Storing most of it, he used significant funds to purchase for himself a used and modified Barloz-class medium freighter. Taking classes to train himself in the basics of piloting and spacefarring, as well as several on blaster use and hand-to-hand combat, the rather green diplomat looked to do what he could in the good fight. He was inexperienced and unaided, but what Liile Glegor did have was the determination of a man who saw a world reduced to molten rubble.

REMEMBER CORUSCANT.

Impeachment of Congressman Cyeon Hunebar- Senator Glegor's first experience with the Galactic Senate.

The Woes of Diplomacy- Foreign Relations Chairman Glegor meets with the Prime Envoy and a Chiss Delegation to discuss the prospects of peace.

A Short-Lived Welcome- Liile returns home to his first unofficial event.

A Better Future In Mind- The Senator constructs an alliance with the Tion Coalition.

The Battle of Coruscant: The Galactic Congress Hall- Glegor witnesses the Fall of Coruscant and the ultimate defeat of the institution of the Galactic Alliance.

The Fallen Dream- Glegor, after escaping Coruscant, makes his way to the Rebellion years later. His stay is, however, quite short.

The Rising Storm- After a rousing anti-Imperial speech on Chardaan, ex-Senator Glegor meets with several persons at a bar to further his message of pro-rebellion propaganda.

Ex-Senator Liile Glegor's profile has been made to look more purdy.

It is also updated for the time-skip.

Back in my day, we didn't have none of your Galactic Civil Wars, and your government toppling enemies, and your Sith empires, and your failure to win, and your hot sauces, and your Darth Barneys...

I remember meeting him once XD a character with potential. After all I haven't seen many purely political characters though with the end of the GA he may have a little less power/influence. Though if you're interested I would love for him to join the Sons of Coruscant rebel cell. He could be the diplomatic head/face of their group and help establish relationships for the group. It would also give you more rp opportunities with him, PM me if interested but either way; great character.

I'll uhh... Refute that and state your organisation is not affiliated with the Rebellion in any way until you and i discuss this, and rp's occur to support and cement any agreements.

You may rebel, but you can't call yourself a Rebel. ;)

Glegor the Indestructible.

I hope this becomes his name within the Rebellion. After losing an arm to the Chiss at their meeting, being shot by Lord Weiss on Coruscant, this fella HAS to have some sort of reputation.

I'm fairly excited to RP with him; I'm curious to see if he will hold a grudge against the Chiss and if so, will that apply to Sentelin? Also, I like the way you've organized your profile; I may borrow some of the concepts for my own profiles.

Fine -_- but I suppose you're right. We are more like a splinter cell at the moment.
