Lightsaber/Combat Training and Training Threads

I was just wondering about the possibility of starting lightsaber training classes for those who want to learn a lightsaber form. Maybe even hand to hand combat or defensive training for those younger and/or less experienced members of the bogan. Even possibly adding force training.

Just a thought.


When I created my character Tamia, I wanted her style to be a little spontaneous, but now I am considering adding a lightsaber form to her arsenal. It seems taxing by going through most of the members of the bogan and asking for training in a style. Maybe, we can get some of the initiated who have more advanced training to teach a class. Just to keep all the pressure off of one or two people in the faction.

We can get the Joshua Hrass training thread active again.

That totally works with me.

If we can get initiates on board for this, it'd be awesome...Hrassk could use some good old fashioned Dark Side/Juyo training :P.

Also, we could use NPC teachers if it really came down to it. Such as how Omnis has two Sith charries made exclusively for teaching.

NPC teacher's could really work. There plenty of options when it comes down to this. We could also implement holocrons, but the only issue with that is "where did they come from" or "did we steal them".

Might be able to have a task force/excavation team head to Ando Prime to see if we can discover lost artifacts of the Ancient Bogan Empire. Might be able to get a few surviving holocrons from the destroyed library. If it's not totally devastated of course. Could even be some designs for a new weapon or armor.

Well I'm sure the DJ have a few holocrons at the ready concerning the staples of Force use and lightsaber combat. But what you were saying actually sounds like a good idea...learn a few things, have a few laughs, find lost Force techniques capable of destroying planets...good stuff :3. Is Ando Prime in Imperial space though?

I have no idea. I know it's within the mid rim, but it is highly possible that it is in Imperial space. I'm not able find it on any of the galactic maps that I've come across. Even the one on the forum. It is probably safe to say that it is in Imperial space. There are ways to work around the Imperials though. As far as an expedition is concerned, we don't need to start searching ruins and drawing too much attention to ourselves.

Quite true. But the paradox seems to be that the ranks of the DJ won't grow without at least some attention being brought to em. But then again I suppose that's what taking over Eriadu's for XD.

Then we'll have to probably figure out how to shape the economy. The higher ups probably have this already figured out. I know that slavery is more than likely definitely out the window. We would have to worry about revolts all of the time and could lose prestige really quickly if we just killed off anyone under us that didn't agree. That could escalate a rebellion, but I digress.

It is possible that we could find the force sensitives on the planet (Even though it would take some resources. Just thinking logically) and train the children as Dark Jedi. This takeover would also allow us to build a solid military to help us take over more worlds. Wow, I'm starting to remind myself of the Necromongers from Riddck.

I think I might volunteer for the for The Trojan Bogan too. That would depend on how long it would take for Kiser to come back and if Ben is going to throw Joshua into the mix. I think I already have an idea to take out the fuel lines without using explosives. Last resort, we blow up the fuel lines and rebuild them later if possible.

Well if the DJ manage a coup of the government there, they could easily just take over the many manufacturing centers and repurpose them somewhat. Y'know, leave figureheads in charge while collecting profits. The money they extort from the centers as well as the resources the factories themselves build would be plenty enough to begin a large-scale search for Force-sensitive men, women, and children to train, without the need for actual slaves. It's easy to just create a puppet state where practically nothing changes in the lives of ordinary citizens.

And lol...I know what you mean. Personally this stuff reminds me of the Borg. "We are the Bogan. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Your culture will adapt to service the Dark Side. Resistance is futile."

I like the sound of that. Take out the head and put in your own authority figures. (Separatist during the Clone Wars; except they went about it the wrong way.) We should take over the whole Galactic South and cut off Imperial access to Anoth then, take Anoth for ourselves. The Rebels will have to deal with the take over. "Join or Die."

I wonder how we even deal with the Rebellion in the first place. They would probably most definitely not support us. Not unless it's "Enemy of your Enemy, is your a friend."

Well the Rebels need all the help they can get when it comes to fighting the Imperium. Heck, if we can get some diplomacy in there, the DJ can negotiate for "protection" from the Jedi Order once the war is over, and extend their influence to become a participating faction in the new government. Then again, if they resist, there's always the "cripple them til they concede" solution X3.

The timeline's gonna end, ik, but it'd definitely be cool for the Dark Jedi to have some up front political power as well as behind the scenes should the next timeline be a continuation of this one.

Hopefully, they'll continue off of this timeline. I can at least try to get my DJ to initiated before the end of the timeline and one of my Sith to Crusader before the end. Don't want to spend 10 years as an acolyte for the DJ or Sith. That would be totally awkward.

Lol, I worded that awkwardly. I meant that we could get the Rebels to protect us from the Jedi if need be in exchange for our help XD. But that's not a bad idea..."protection..." Mwaha...

And yeah...that would be somewhat weird. Kinda like doing the fourth grade over and over again when you're 35 XD.

At the moment about all of my characters are in threat of that. My Jedi is about to get deleted since I haven't RP'd with him yet. Jedi are pretty dead, as far as training is concerned and story RP. Mostly because the attack on Anoth and evacuations. What would be funny, group of Jedi evacuating a planet we just took control of.

The Jedi never seem to get a break though...I hope they'll have a considerably larger amount of influence in the next timeline whenever that is.

lol Same here. Hopefully, they do get a break. It's like the only one's caring for the Jedi are the Jedi. I don't think the Empress is going to give them a break though. Not unless they really do find a planet away from the prying eyes of Imperial spies. (rhyme not intentional)

We don't need the Sith occupying anymore "uncharted" space that will soon belong to us.

But in all seriousness this thread is giving me some ideas...I might even get off my ass and do some write-ups, find ways to rally in some more troops for the DJ...not making any promises yet because rl sucks, but I might start giving something back. Cause I haven't been on this site two months and I already love all y'all XD.
