"And the one called Durane?"

"Spare him, help him for the mean time, that is what we are paying you for."

"The rest of them?"

"If they have no association with the one named Durane, they are... well let's just say you'll have your satisfaction. And your pay."

"Understood"

"Then we have a deal? I'm sure that we have the information you seek Mister Ather, it should not be a problem at all."

"And if you somehow fail to deliver, I'll find you, I promise you that much."

"Of course..."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Glowing eyes and a slowly ebbing smoke, that was what the Reminder was known for. A Ghost, solely because that was all you saw before you died. Men have unloaded entire clips of slugs in this man's direction yet hit nothing, unexplainable really but that was what The Reminder was, a mystery.
He had been tracking them for days, making sure when the time was right, when it would be possible for him to make his move.
It looked like today was that day. But first he would have to ground that blasted ship, permanantly.
It would be difficult keeping Durane alive in a situation like that, not that the Reminder would feel any remorse, he just needed that information and he was planning to get it, one way or another.
Smoke seeped into the ship's hall as the Reminder's entity washed aboard.
"This could prove to be fun."
Once again Durane was surprised by the Padawan's unprecendented power. It made him laugh inside, though, for the boy contained all of the aspects of the Darkside, yet he failed to admit it. He was fighting purely with passion; whatever happened to the Jedi's stoicism?
So Durane used the Force to bubble himself, holding his ground but still getting pushed back a bit. Sure, it was draining, but the Dark Jedi knew it would be far more exhausting for the Jedi.
Anaru was using the light side of the force to edge Durane back but it was tiring and exhaustive work. It drained him of his very energy and at the last he collapsed against a wall, barely able to hold himself up. As he slumped to the floor he saw Durane walking near him and looking over him in scorn as he was blacking out.
"I will not go to the dark side....of..... the force." Anaru said as he blacked out due to the massive drain of energy his attack used.
As the Padawan drained himself, Durane realized the victory was his. So, once Anaru was knocked out, the Dark Jedi walked towards him. Hearing the boy's last words, it made him realize what he had done. He had battled this Jedi in an attempt to kill him. And here the Padawan was, ready to be killed. Was this really necessary?
And then Durane started choking. The gas was filling up the med-bay, which would knock him unconscious. It seemed as if there wasn't time to kill the boy, for he had to get out of this area. Using the Force to expand his lungs and allow more time to go without oxygen, Durane sprinted out of the medical center through the way that Certh had exited. There would be fresh air in the hallway.
Certh, looks back, sees Durane running up the hall, seemingly choking from the gas that had been in the medbay.
"You alright?"
He asks as he looks back, figuring out he got the wrong room with the charge.
Garev darted out of the cockpit and closed it's secondary door. He head to the storage room on the opposite side of the ship from where his assailants were. Upon entering the storage room, he headed to the back and open a secret hallway that connected to the medical bay.Garev entered the secret passage and closed it behind him. Once inside he had the ship run a vitals scan.
Force-sensitives were kicking up everywhere, it would be impossible to track Durane with senses that were crossfiring everywhere. Regardless, if Durane was worthit well enough, he would survive a small crashlanding.
Even though his senses were slightly thrown off by the amount of signals that the force-sensitives were giving off, The Reminder was able to find the engine room. It definetly seemed well enough to fly for a good bit, he would have to change that.
Drawing an illegally modified slugthrower from the depths of his trench coat, The Reminder smirked as he toggled the control upon its surface. Flaming bullets would be slightly devastating to a ship in the air, hopefully the beings on this ship would survive the fire, so that the Reminder could kill them himself.
Mister Ather's eyes glowed intensely as he aimed the slugthrower at the engine, and fired.
OOC: The ship never took off, so destroying the engine is kinda unnecessary.
The ship completed it's scan, Garev wrist brace indicated two unconscious signatures and on conscious signature in the medbay and one additional signature near the engine room. Garev was confused as to why there was someone else on his ship.
((Bah that's fine, it can still work out.))
Smoke slowly ebbed from the depths of The Reminder's being as the engine burst into flames, if this fire caught on to the ship, all of the inhabitants of the ship would be smoked out. Outside they would be easy pickings, like fish in a... very large barrel.
The Reminder strode down the hallway, smoking trailing in his wake.
"Come out, come out wherever you are." Came an errie voice, directed at no one in particular. "It'll be easier on you if you kill yourself, but where would the fun be in that?"
OOC: Once again, Mirak, still conscious...
ICC: Durane nodded to Certh and began looking around. Was this a dead end? If so, would they have to backtrack to the previous hallway before the med-bay?
"Dead end?"
"Yea, looks like a dead end unless there is another door around here"
Certh says, looking around for another way out.
"Looks like we gotta go back past the med bay"
He says as he points toward the passage that leads right past by the med-bay, then begins walking.
"Alright, we'll just go back they way we came. The med-bay is filled with that knockout gas, though, so we can't linger in there for too long. Here let me heal you up a bit before we get outta here."
With that, Durane began to muster up the Force within himself to heal up his ally, salving his wounds that were otherwise infectious. This wouldn't heal him completely, but it would do a great deal of work for him, considering the bad state in which he was. So, Durane did all the healing he could, he headed into and through the med-bay, nodded at Anaru's unconscious body as he passed through. He exited through the hole that he had created to get into the medical center, emerging in the original hallway.
Certh, thanking Durane for the healing that he had just done, follows him into the original hallway.
"Now where do we go?"
He asks Durane as he looks around at the different things that are hanging about.
OOC: No 'other side' to the med-bay and you are still stuck in the med-bay. Compression door!
Teriza felt mirak searching mind. Teriza knew he wasn't going to find any happiness in it. But he did get something. Teriza then saw the image of himself as a child looking down and his murdered parent's. He heard Certh say his name but Teriza didn't understand the rest.
Teriza finally awoke from his state when he heard the explosion. Teriza followed the noise to of the cave. Teriza spotted a ship. He started running towards it with his saber still out. When he got near Teriza started searching around for Certh's mind and when he found it he said "Where are you."
NexNote:Well, this has to be closed. Mirak's character should never have joined this thread, so it can't happen.
Very sorry to the participants, it's rare to find such a long thread, and I hate to close it.
