Anaru was shocked numb by the brutality with which Garev slammed the dark jedi against the wall. "What is he doing? Can't he fight with chivalry at all? He must be some jedi code of honor at the very least! Are all jedi like this?" Anaru pondered in anger as he watched this disastrous fight go on.

Durane noticed Anaru along the side; he looked confused. It seemed as if he didn't understand the ways of the world. The native himself was just beginning to understand, and he knew the way of darkness was the way to go. So he reached out to Anaru through the Force, sending a telepathic message to him.

Anaru, search within yourself. This man is the epitome of the Order that you so patriotically follow. Do you not see that these men may pretend to have layers of toughness, but really, all they are are cowards. Deep inside, you know this.

Soto cursed yet again: he hated being wet. Yet, the money that could be had by simply reconning this stinking puddle trumped any distaste he had for H2O.

And these tunnels...they played havac with your ears, with all of your senses. He had been wandering mindlessly for hours looking for the source, and finally, he found it.

3 figures. A Jedi (maybe? He looked angry, and weren't Jedi suppost to be all righteous?), a Dark Jedi (undoubtedly), and some unknown 3rd faction. Now, who to shoot first...ahh, screw it the Cathar thought, They all probably have stuff worth taking off a corpse.

With that thought in mind, he unslung his carbine and opened fire from a mere 20 meters away.

Garev saw Anaru becoming angry, if he fell Garev would have no choice but to flee. He reached out to the young padawan.

Anaru, don't fall victim to your anger, if you let it control you, it will consume you in the same manner it is consuming them. Fight it, dominate it, control it. Do not let your anger control you.

Garev heard blaster bolts being fired stopped slamming Certh into the wall, reached for a peice of stone, it turned to energy in his hands waved it in front of the bolts directed at him and blocked them.

Garev sounded like Rev Ultor... master your emotions. But did Garev even have control of his emotions? I mean he kept on banging Certh against the wall when he could have just reached out to him--perhaps diplomatically. Anaru thought that at least part of being a jedi was trying to first reason with your enemies.

Anaru realized that not all beings were perfect. He internally knew that Garev was a good jedi. His anger felt like a volcano that was bubbling over, but he managed to subdue it to conquer it. His faith in the jedi were rejuvanated because Anaru came to the realization that humans are fallible.

He then telepathetically told the dark jedi "Sir, I don't know who you are, but in the most respectful way possible I am going to have to tell you to, please stop lying to me. Garev is not perfect I've realized and neither is the jedi system. But the dark side of the force is much more corrupt than I think even you realize. You feed off of anger and hate. The dark side spawns heinous acts that never would have come about in people normally. Turn back, my friend before it's too late--I think you still have some good in you."

Anaru then contacted Garev telepathetically and said "I am with you 100% of the way sir. I stand with the jedi!" Anaru ducked as the shots came towards him and managed to dodge the two shots that came his way. He remembered Mastor Ultor's teaching on using the blade to destroy.

OOC: With this edit, I am adding the last paragraph to acknowledge the new arrival that I forgot to include in my post.

Anaru's response made Durane laugh hysterically. This Jedi was way too biased from what he had been taught to be able to control his thoughts. His train of thought was merely what the Jedi had instilled in him. The man could not possibly hope to realize the truth of the way the galaxy was.

And to say the Darkside is corrupt? Sure, the Darkside of the Force is in itself a dark and deadly thing, but this wasn't the corruptness in which Anaru spoke. The act of utilizing the Darkside was the choice of Durane; he felt that with this new power, he could achieve more than anything he ever could otherwise. The Darkside doesn't control him, Durane controls the Darkside. It is his tool, it is a weapon.

So, Durane responded to Anaru. Your words are the words of your preachers. I ask you one thing. If you speak to me, at least speak to me with your own soul. Or is it being suppressed by the teachings that have been instilled in you from your righteous leaders? Durane licked on some sarcasm to the end of that statement as best as he could.

As he was finishing off this telepathic message, blaster bolts came from yet another newcomer. His lightsaber flashed up, deflecting bolt after bolt into random directions. Durane was lucky enough to have these other men here, as they provided other targets for the newcomer, therefore decreasing the amount of shots at himself had he been the only target.

I thank you, Anaru. Understand that we have two options in this battle incapacitate or kill. They will not be reasoned with, the dark side is to strong in this place, once they fell they were lost.

Garev hoped that Durane could be subdued, but he would first have to remove him from this place.

Anaru replied quickly to Durane in case the shots at him came again.

"What do I believe? I believe that the manner in which Garev acted was not comparable to that of a true jedi. I think he was abusing his power. I don't think the jedi are right about everything. I disagree with them on some issues, but they are right the majority of the time.

The light side of the force is assuredly more righteous than the dark side is. Can the dark side do anything except create pain, and suffering? I am learning right now how to heal with the force. I can actually help people in their situations not harm them. That's what my master teaches me.

I love the jedi order even though I do have troubles with my anger. Anger makes us more powerful, but in the end the force and those without emotion are better warriors. I stand with the jedi. These are my own thoughts and my own views." Anaru answered Durane from the bottom of his heart and what he really felt was true.

Then he sent a message to Garev and said "I understand. I trust your knowledge of the situation is better than mine. I have come to trust the jedi overtime.

Durane, smiling, shook his head. This man was all sorts of wrong, but he knew that there was nothing he could do to change the Jedi. Still he pressed the issue, hoping this man would some day realize his words were the truth.

You say that Lightside is more righteous than the Darkside, but who defines righteous? Righteous is only what our ancestors have taught the galaxy from the beginning of time. Right and wrong were decided by mere men, the same men that you say have their flaws. Can you really trust the morals of society when they are only what the men of the beginning of time have decided upon? We have lived all of these centuries as the children of flawed men, believing all we are taught from society without question."

Certh, in pain from the jedi tossing him against the sharp rock like a ragdoll; to be treated so is a menace to him, and his beliefs of himself. He sticks out his hand, and a bolt of lightning conjures from the tips of his fingers, hoping that it would distract him and release him from his grip over the force.

"The voice of the people decide. That defines righteousness. People are fallible and thus their beliefs are also fallible; but to a certain extent. The voice of the people is known as the Republic. Our elected leaders have fought against those who use the dark side of the force, so therefor if righteousness can be defined as the voice of the people then our elected leaders pass legislation regarding the dangers of the dark side. The dark side of the force causes anger and envy in side men, that is why it is dangerous.

I as you know have a connection to the force. I can feel your anger right now burning against me. Your anger will lead you to fight and kill like you want to do to me if I don't convert to the dark side. I don't believe everything that I am taught from the beginning. That is the great part of the republic and democracy. We can vote for those ideals we believe in, and what we believe is true.

Morals change from era to era. As each consecutive generation realizes new truths than they change the way they think. This is the beauty of democracy, and that is why I believe in the Jedi and the Jedi Council, as well as the Republic." Anaru said hoping intuitively that the man would change his views.

You, my friend, are wrong. The Darkside doesn't cause anger and envy inside of me; my own anger and envy lure the Darkside. And what envy or anger do you speak of, for I have neither of those two emotions right now. The only emotions that are within me at the moment are malice and passion. Combine those two and what do you get?

With that, Durane hopped forward, startling his enemy. He pulled Anaru into himself with the Force, as his own lightsaber thrusted forward with lightning quick speed. If connected, his saber would be imbedded within Anaru's stomach.

Anaru was suprised by Durane's atack but his master's training had taught him his reflexes. Especially after the debacle with the blasters. Anaru pulled out his lightsaber as soon as he felt himself being flung forward and barely managed to block his lightsaber. As he blocked the lightsaber blade he used the force to push Durane back a few feet, which released his grip on Anaru, and Anaru got into a fighting stance.

"See your own anger towards me caused you to attempt an assasination. See what the dark side does?" Anaru shouted at him aloud

Certh's lightning hit Garev it hurt, but Garev was able to negate enough of the energy to keep it at a tolerable point. Garev had to end him, if the pain wouln't make him relent, there was no other choice. He slammed Certh against the spike again, this time turning him so the spike would pierce his back. "You cannot be allowed to live... I'm sorry"

OOC: Nope, god-modding is just when you automatically score a hit, or control another player's actions. :)

Edit please I changed it to make it more apropriate for my character type!!:CHappy:

ICC: Durane accepted the push back as an opportunity to square off with his opponent. He saw fear in the man's eyes. Anaru was so close to death and he felt it. With this thought, Durane felt as if he was Death in itself. A smile found its way to his face yet again, and Durane crouched as if he was about to spring. Predicting this would put Anaru on his defensive stance for a predicted lightsaber strike, Durane followed through with the deke. Rather than leaping forward, his hand reached out and sent forth a bolt of lightning.

Teriza telepathyed back to Certh 'Yes I will jump in when the time is right." Teriza then waited. When the guy Certh was fighting force pushed him towards a wall. Teriza's fingers slid to the igition button on his saber waiting. When he sensed the newcombers bullets coming he flicked it on. Swiping them away as he was going into his stance.

'There's a lot going on right now' I'm going to try to help Durane convince this kid to join the dark side and if he refuses, I'm going to kill him." Teriza said to Certh. Teriza walked over to the kid with his Red lightsaber glowing.

When he got in front of the kid he said "I was just like you when I was seventeen training under my master. You know that reminds me he's right there. Teriza flicked his eyes toward Certh. We are stronger then ever. You just feel like your in controll of everything around you. You let your emotions flow, you wont even remember them. They won't be in your mind anymore, but in your body flowing.

Teriza pointed his hand to the top of the cave and shot a little lightening out. See that, that is your destiney. Join us, and no longer be just another jedi light walking the streets. Accually be something. I'll finish your training." Teriza then bowed. "May power be with you."

Teriza moved his body to the guy who pushed Certh. "May you suffer for doing that." Teriza force sped to the guy slashing for both of his legs. So it was just a blurr to everyone. Teriza search around the minds of the force users. The personed Teriza ran into must of joined the side along with them.(Durane) When he touched his mind he said 'How strong is this guy were fighting.' he said in Telepathy.

Anaru blocked the bolt of lightning and absorbed it through his lighstaber. As he blocked it he shouted over the racket

"I may be young Mrs. but there is one thing that I am certain of. Strength comes through a clear mind, not one that is clouded with hate and anger. You delude yourself and are under a facade that the dark side brings, creating an illusion that you are in control. The dark side is controlling you; and eventually it will consume your entire being." Anaru said as convincingly as he could.

"Mastor Rev Ultor is my teacher and none other. Why do you seek to kill me? I can undestand that in both Durane and your mind that you wish to assinate me if I do not convert to the dark side of the force. What have I done to deserve death yet?" Anaru asked trying to persuade her to leave the dark side.

After spending time blocking the lightning bolt Anaru used the force to rejuvanate himself. "What have I done to deserve death? What act have I committed yet? Answer me that one question!! Durane it is not fear that you see in my eyes!! I do not fear death, for to die is to be one with the force!!! That is something that you will NEVER UNDERSTAND!!!!!" Anaru shouted at them.

OOC: Remember something that may come into effect during this RP is that Anaru is an exceptionally good speaker, and pursuader, so don't forget that tidbit. Not trying to ruin the fun of the darkside, just pointing summat out.

As Certh lay hanging on the spike in the wall Garev noticed Teriza charge him. In response Garev Force repulsed his attacker.

"It is not to late for you boy. You don't have to do this."
