This thread is death, PvP, capture, maim, etc. disabled.

Darth Kravos was still reeling from what had happened. For some reason, the Drast family had felt untouchable, and the idea that one of them might die had barely even crossed the Dark Lord's mind. Of course there was always the risk, but it had never seemed like a reality up until now.

And then the worst had happened. He hadn't been quick enough to stop the enemy blade. He'd seen it again a thousand times in his head, running it through his mind of what he could have done differently. None of it brought him back.

Kravos had gone out of his way to see that they would not burn the body, but the funeral service had to go on.

The casket was closed with the High Judge's helmet atop. A pyre burned in the background with the remainder of his armor on it. Those who hoped to pay their respects were welcome, and the Dark Lord was perfectly happy to be one of the first. He stood watch over the body and the pyre as it raged and would remain until all were gone.

You were a good friend, Cregan. You won't be forgotten. Your daughter will not be left alone. The words ran through his head, but he didn't utter them aloud. Others needn't know his thoughts. And I will find a way to let you see your child again. The Dark Side of the Force was a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. @Sreeya @Nefieslab

Vincent had heard the news but couldn't believe it, Not till he saw the truth of it for himself. But now here he stood, staring at Evandrus' armor on a pyre. He had only really had one brief interaction with the man as a Sith lord, but the rhythmic venting sounds of his breathing apparatus were a constant reminder of what the deceased had done to him as a Jedi.

He did have to admit though, as much as he had hated Evandrus for breaking him. The ruining of his lungs had cemented his hatred for the Jedi and ultimately made him a more powerful dark sider than he could have before.

Standing before the pyre where Lord Evandrus's armor laid. Tobian couldn't believe until now that he is gone. He heard the news and passed it off as a rumor, a really bad prank type of rumor.

He had only a couple of interactions with the man during a few missions. But he already had the impression that Evandrus was untouchable, and will do wonders for the Empire. And one that he wanted to get on the bad side of. But now with what was before him the lieutenant was proven wrong like others. Clenching his hands into fists, he vowed to somehow avenge his death and to serve the Empire with the same enthusiasm he had shown the Sith Lord.

Alongside the people that were standing before the pyre was the giant abomination, Kano, looking at the deceased body of the man Kano once called friend, the Kaleesh abomination felt...numb, he thought he would have felt a lot more sadder, but Kano guessed that he was getting used to his friends and family dying again, the last months had been hitting him with hard doses of reality, reminding him that everyone could and would die, after his transformation, the Kaleesh abomination, thought that he wouldn't have to mourn after his incident on Kalee, but he couldn't be more wrong, Eisa died, Abigail had dissappeared and probably died too and then Cregan joined the body count, all in such a short span of time the Kaleesh didn't even have the time to mourn each of them individually.

"Don't worry Cregan...Judgement will be passed on the jedi, your job and your efforts will not be in vain, I will make sure of that" Kano said, muttering lowly under his breath, his eyes gazing on the fire and his voice going silent, Kano would simply stay there and pay his respects by giving a moment of silence for the high judge.

Vash Windrider stood at the edge of the pyre's glow in his Black Hand armor. The red and orange flames creating a dance of heat and rage to consume the cold embrace of the air around it. Much like the dark side fed on the emotions of those who stood around the pyre. The force welcomed these emotions and the soul of the High Judge, as wood the flames soon welcome his flesh. It was fitting of a warrior, fitting of a Sith.

Vash could count the times he met Darth Evandrus on a single hand and still have fingers to spare. The most meaningful of which would be only months before when the High Judge bestowed the Nightbringer with the prize of the third champion of the gauntlet. It was an honor that Vash would never forget and one that demanded the Sith Master return from Hutt space and pay his respects to one of the men who helped to forage an Empire and in a distant way helped to forage him as well.

"May the force welcome you Lord." the words were simply but profoundly respectful.
