Korriban. It was his home and it was where he now found himself yet again, however this time was different than any other. He was here to further learn to further harness his unique gift of Darkness. Here he would meet someone had not met before among the Order. As a Champion and a Warrior he was always eager to learn more.

He was to meet a Sith called Cyutadarkr. Her reputation preceded her, but he didn't care much about the talk. Only that she helped him to continue to accomplish what he was born to do. Hailing from a ancient, powerful lineage, from Adas. He knew alot was expected of him. Just like any Pureblood of note. This was just another moment in a long awaited destiny.

He sat meditating upon a great dune, upon the sand observing the sun as the heat caressed his form. He had found it often helped him to get in touch with his gifts, and bring him closer to them. To help unlock them just a bit more every time. But on this day it had yet to have a affect on him.

Perhaps soon enough.

Eventually he felt someone approach, rising he knelt before them. Only lifting his eyes as to meet their gaze and see who it was. Feeling the powerful presence, he allowed a slight smile. Looking upon the female Pureblood with all the eagerness of a younger man. he thought her attractive even by their species standards. He had not even expected to see another like himself, let alone a female.

Yet here she stood. He wondered how much she knew about him.

Regardless he was not here to get acquinted, not really, he was here to learn. He was eager and willing to learn from a more experienced Sith Champion. He was here to train, anything that happened beyond that would be for the dunes of Korriban to decide. But he would not push it, that was not the way he did things. Of course if she did he would hardly refuse. Even if some thought there was a time and place for those kinds of things.

He remained silent until spoken too, showing the necessary respect and decorum that he felt was always expected of him and he always felt the need to show. Even if they were of equal rank.

Cyutadakyr knew few purebloods by reputation and even fewer by name. The Empire had only in recent years vacated the Sith core worlds, and left chaos in its wake. This chaos in turn created opportunity for the enterprising, for the bold and those willing to succeed where others failed.

This is where Cyutadakyr was position to be, at the peak of power and in her prime.

And yet now the powers at be felt fit to wreathe an anchor around her neck, as if success wasn't hard enough to achieve on her own. If this newcomer expected a warm welcome, he would be sorely mistaken, but more pressingly, it wouldn't do for him to simply obey and follow her. No, he would have to prove himself a value to her, or she would simply leave his sorry ass in her wake.

In what felt like a frustratingly more common occurrence than she would have liked, she internally mused that If this unknown face so much as mentioned anything that suggested marriage or some form of coupling, he was sooner to find a utensil lodged somewhere it didn't belong.

Stopping ten feet or so from the other pureblood, Cyu stood in silence and simply stared before finally setting the room in only a manner befitting her style.

"Why are you here?" Her icy tone apparent and clearly illuminated through her native tongue.

Trodai stood up to his fall height, so that he might make eye contact and gain a measure of her character. He held his mask under one arm, allowing her to see him for who he was, his yellow eyes seemingly peering into her very soul. He could feel her Darkness just as much as his own, she was strong. And no doubt she could feel him too. He mused that she likely thought this to be some setup or suggestive meeting, set up by their clans to arrange a political marriage of convenience.

But this was not his reason for this. No, his was a more personal agenda and she would find he had no interest in such a arrangement even if it had been the case. He despised the politics the clans played, and would never willingly enter into such a arrangement. He was a Warrior, a soldier born for war. He would not be party to any such games as he thought of them.

Regardless of the reasons.

He desired only to be a iron fist for the Sith and his people and make his enemies and the Jedi tremble beneath his feet. He was well on his way towards it on his own but reasoned he should learn more wherever he could.

As he listened, he found it amusing how blunt and to the point she was. He liked it, it appealed to his Warrior nature. In many ways he was the same, preferring it when others were straight forward. And didn't talk around in circles, like politicians.

He spoke, his own accent coming with a subtle hint of noble birth, mixed with hints of his warrior nature and upbringing as he explained his purpose for the meeting. He remained calm and collected, despite her icey tone, cautious about her. Even if he had asked for this. Unsure of what she might do or how she might react to him. For she was a unknown factor and he was taking a gamble.

One he hoped would pay off.

He kept it blunt and likewise to the point, not wanting to waste time. He knew she would likely expect him to prove himself. As was the way of the Sith. As was their people's way. Neither would he simply be expected to just follow, no a Sith was more than that.

So much more. He knew this would not be free either, there was always a price to be paid.

"I come to learn. I have heard your skill with the Dark is quite renowned Lady Cyutadakyr. I had hoped to improve my own connection to the Darkness and sought you out for that purpose alone. To see what I may learn if you allow it. I have no interest in anything beyond that I can assure you. In return I would offer whatever you deem necessary recompense. I would in fact be willing to offer and impart some of my own knowledge in the Force, lightsaber or other such techniques. If that is your wish."

He offered a short, curt bow showing due respect and manners as he introduced himself before again standing upright.

"I am Champion Trodai, of House Adas. I have only recently returned to the home world."

Pureblood stared at Pureblood, both Champions yet not equal. He spoke, she listened and yet heard nothing. Her eyes glared, holding his in contempt as she contemplated the situation. Throwing a small bag containing a shock collar to the floor at his feet, she spat.

"No, you are grotthu and bound to me as I see fit." The fiery tone in her voice leaving no room for debate. She'd seen and heard what he'd done, plastering his face across bounty boards galore. Association with him by definition placed a target on her back.

"The punishment for your foolishness shall be a slave's collar, until I deem you worthy of restoring your name." It wasn't so much the violence, nor the bloodshed that caught her ire, although she couldn't fathom what exactly he had hoped to gain from such action. The fact that not only had he been seen, but all he had proven to her was that he was an impulsive beast fit only for a chain rather than the next generation ready to accept her teaching.

No, that would not do. To serve under Cyutadakyr would require a humbling like he had never seen in his lifetime.

Of course, that wasn't the pureblood's only course of action.

Trodai listened as she berated and insulted him. And further sought to anger him by suggesting he was not better than the slaves their species owned and sold. However as he looked upon the collar, in the Force his feelings were evident. As the Rage and Wrath threatened to erupt and awaken the Darkness, yet he held it back. Was this a sick joke he thought. But as she glared at him and he glared back, it was evident It was not.

She was serious.

It became clear she was aware that recent transgressions he had conducted, he hated himself for committing them in a moment of stupidity and drunken revelry. When he had underestimated the strength of the liquor or the effects it would have. And the anarchy that would ensue after. But it was too late now to change it. If the powers that be thought he should be punished so be it, but if she thought he would simply submit to her demand and put the collar on she was surely mistaken.

No he was no slave. Perhaps she saw him as a impulsive or worse he thought but he would prove her wrong. He would prove he had more to offer than that, much more. Punishment he would take but not complete submission, that was not his style.

"If this is some kind of joke, I don't find it amusing. I take it then you are aware of my recent transgressions. I am well aware of my own stupidity and foolishness. My moment of weakness. A mistake I will not repeat. But of this no. I do not submit or accept this...whatever this is. Punish me if you must but I will not simply submit and be treated like some slave. Some, Grotthu. If you think otherwise you are very much mistaken. I came to learn, not to be your serv or insulted like some outsider. If I must prove myself, and be humbled to redeem my name I will, but not like this.

You will have to put it on yourself if that is what you want...but make no mistake I won't go willingly."

He awaited her reaction. He was deadly serious, she would have to attempt to put it on herself if she wanted it upon him. But he would not make it easy or go willingly. Not at all. No, he was worth more than this. Far more. He respected her but he would never kiss her feet or grovel for the knowledge he sort out.

If she expected that she was wrong.

The fiery atmosphere matched the pair's verbal spar, she felt the tensions flare as the gears slowly turned in his head. She considered what he said, the prospect of denying him his freedom by force was certainly illicitly tempting but unfortunately for him, she simply wasn't in that kind of mood.

I won't go willingly, rang through the halls as some kind of ill-fated threat.

Cyutadakyr raised her hand and coiling the surrounding force, the very grains of sand at their feet stirring and raising from their slumber until a swirling cloud of it began circling her.

"But I will." Her response, piercing the storm of sand that engulfed Cyu.

And then, she was gone.
