For millennium it has been the way of the Jedi to teach, train and mentor others within the Order. Nothing else is a better way to do that then one Jedi passing his knowledge off to another. Ever since the Order's birth there has always been Master's and Apprentice's to grow the Order as a whole. It seemed that on this day Calvyn Eltros would accept his duty to continue the Jedi way. Taking a younger Jedi under his wing to teach the girl what exactly it means to be a Jedi.

Calvyn Eltros was not all to happy about it either. It was the Council's doing mainly, they deemed it was the time for Calvyn to teach another, Cal simply accepted their offer. In his mind he had neither the time nor patience to take one in. That being said it was not his place to question the will of the council, or the will of the Force. So within weeks Calvyn was told to meet his apprentice on Ahch-To. Which Calvyn did, always the loyal Jedi, and awaited his apprentice by a cliff ledge.

It was there that Calvyn stood, standing alone and looking out at sea. Small rocky islands jutted out of the water, almost daring waves to crash against them. Trees of green poked out of the islands, a silent scream of beauty in a peaceful world. A slight smile washed over the Knights face, this planet was one of the most beautiful he'd been on. Which coming from Cal, a man who has been everywhere, is saying something. Closing his eyes Cal reached out to the mystical energies of the force.

When he did so he felt a pull in his mind, his apprentice was finally here. Victoria Beauregard was her name and that's all he knew. He hoped she knew what she was getting into, having Cal as a Master. So there Calvyn stood, on the edge of the cliff with his all black robes softly waving in the wind. Awaiting an apprentice to call his own.

Wondering to himself if it'd be better to live all alone.

@Victoria Beauregard
