*Upon the snow-capped mountain-tops of Eshan's highlands, Dante could see the city in which he was born, raised, and the same place the sith had taken away. When the sith came, there was nothing he could do. Him and his five brothers, Raziel, Koran, Shax, Mavon and Kovec, all became apart of the sith. And before Dante ever broke away, he held each of his brothers in his arms as they died, all however, except for Raziel. For the sith convinced Raziel that the only way to gain full power in the darkside was to eliminate his own kin. Such lies consumed Raziel and in the end, after all the blood had stained Dante's robe, Dante slew his oldest brother and when his head rolled away, Dante would not morn him, but loath him the rest of his days.

Now returning home, Dante hopes to find something he might have missed. He had crossed the southern land of Hurel, the battle-scarred plain where the Empire had a small skirmish, and over the mountain he had reached the city of Kain. His father, before his death, had led the Echani of this city out of poverty and war. Thus, the city was named after him. His mother, however, was still alive as he could find out. What had become of her was unknown, but one thing was certain, Dante would find her and have to tell her of her fallen son, Raziel, and the deaths of her four other boys.*

*Dante's arrival had spread quickly, almost everyone knew that the last Kain had returned home, and maybe some may help him in his quest for family. Passing just by the industrial sector, Dante could see the silhouettes of some men, most likely, coming from the corner. This time had become particularly hard and money was a coveted thing. Though, If they tried to get a jump on the young Echani, they may have a not-so-pleasant encounter.*

The ship, still smoking and sparks fizzling around the engine, was forced to land unpleasently on the outer reaches of the city. Still the beeps and blips inside the cockpit kept adding new warnings to the pilot that not only more danger was on the horizion, but it was time to abandon ship. Quickly the pilot unfastened the seats harness and blew open the cockpit. Checking around the cockpit for anything of value and finding nothing worth taking, he lept from the fighter and ran quickly ducking behind a rock formation just as the ship exploded in thousands of pieces. Looking at his only hope of returning home laying in tatters, he found himself forced to find another way to return back to the Temple to make his report to the council.

Making a quick check of his hilt that dangeled from his waist belt, he sighed with relief that is was not damaged in his mad scramble to exit the ship. It was bad enough he lost another ship but it would have been far worse if his lightsaber had been destroyed as well. Pulling the flaps of his robes around him to ward off the winds he looked around to get his bearings. He recalled seeing some sort of city or outpost on his way down. Perhaps he could find a means or a ample pilot willing to fly him back to Coruscant.

So Jedi Knight Ghan Ur Lo'thoi began his trek in the direction of the city but one thing was nagging at him. Where was he? More importantly, who controlled this planet? If it was protected by the GA then he was more than just safe. But if the Sith Empire or its allies were now in possession of this planet, then he was more than grateful his lightsaber was intact.

For two hours he walked across the plains of this unknown planet keeping his eyes open and using the Froce as a detector. He hated surprises! At last he came to what appeared to be some city. Since darkness had fallen across the planet, he could easily sneak in undetected and look around a bit before seeking out his means of departure. When he entered the city he immediatly understood where he was. He was on an Enchani planet. Ghan smiled to no one but himself as he walked through the streets keeping to himself for now and talking to no others.

*As Dante came closer the shadowed figures, they did not try to rob him, nor did they show any sign of aggression. However, he did not see the Wookie around the corner that he now had accidently bumped into. Immediately the Wookie growled and definitely startled the young Echani.* "Sorry, sorry." *He said in a humbling apologetic manner as to not anger the only beast who could most likely tear his arms off.*

*After a while, he had made his way back to where he came from, his home street. It wasn't much to look at, but the markets were a warming sight to Dante's eyes. He then proceeded to walk over to the old Trandoshan junk dealer he had remembered back when he still lived here. This alien had helped him avoid the empire for as long as he could. But then, a patron bumped into Dante, and instantly, his lightsaber vanished from his side. Dante looked up frantically and saw the thief begin to run towards the edge of the city, and once Dante began to sprint after the thief, he fired a shot from his prized blaster, "Venom", and he brought down a whole trash compactor that the thief had hopped on to, and now he had cornered the thief in the open streets.*

*At this point, Dante would give him an option* "Come on, kid. Hand it over before it turns ugly." *The thief smirked and twirled the hilt in his hand* "Alright, I guess we'll do this the hard way. *He said as he cracked his knuckles together. With a pathetic jab towards Dante's face, the thief was easily apprehended at this point. Unable to move as Dante grabbed his arm and twisted it up behind him. And once he had retrieved the hilt, he ignited the blue blade against the thief's throat, holding him in the most deadly position ever.* "You know what I did to criminals like you in the Empire?" *He asked the thief rhetorically.* "I cut their hands off." *This indeed did make the thief think twice as he begged for his life* "Please, I-I'll do anything...." *And at that moment Dante decided to let him live, and the brat scurried off into the alleys as everyone's attention was drawn to the new lightsaber wielder.* "Too much blood is on my hands already" *He thought to himself*

The sights and sounds in the marketplace kept the Knight on alert and guard. He never been to this planet but if it was anything like Coruscant then thievery and danger was only a spit away. However, even as he walked past the various kiosks he detected no hostility. He began to look at the kiosks examing some of the wares and even dealing in mock haggling with the owners in a successful attempt to fit in as a potential buyer. He had no interest in buying anything and even though he was already marked as an offworlder, they were unaware that he was a Jedi Knight and he liked to keep it that way. It wasn't he was embarrassed to show off his connection to the Order but more like avoiding undue attention till he found passage off this world.

Ghan had just passed a kiosk when he felt a tremor in the Force. He shifted his eyes around the area immediatly in an attempt to secure the source of this twinge he was feeling. Then he saw a figure standing at the entrance of one of the alleys holding what appeared to be a lightsaber hilt in his hands. Ghan stopped and turned to look at some craftware in the nearby kiosk all the while keeping his eyes on the figure and scanning him through the Force. Ghan didn't care if the figure detected he was being scanned cause at the present moment, Ghan did not feel the dark side residing in this sentient. Still, it was better to tread with caution rather than just assume.

The figure began to look around the area and Ghan knew at the moment his own Force signature had been picked up the male Force sensitve and waited for the Echani to make the first move. Then a scream from behind him pulled Ghan's focus from the Enchani. Quickly he turned around and saw two thugs running away from a female Twi'lek who was sitting on the ground and pointing to them. Ghan knew he needed to remain inconspicuous but he was a Jedi and he swore an oath to protect the weak and innocent. He took off after the two thugs and turned down another alley and saw them standing there going through what appeared to be some sort of backpack. By its colour and design, it belonged to the Twi'lek.

"I'm going on a limb here and say that does not belong to either on of you," Ghan said as he walked toward them keeping his eyes on thier hands. "So why don't you two be good lads now and just hand it over to me." The two thugs exchnaged a glance then turned to confront Ghan scoffing at him. Then one of the thugs went for his hand blaster that was holstered on his side. Ghan quickly used the Force and called the weapon to him. Just as the blaster was within reach, Ghan retrieved his hilt, activated his weapon and cut the blaster in half.

The two thugs eyes went wide with shock as the Knight stood there with his emerald blade humming and sizzling. "Perhaps if I say please you won't try another stupid thing like that," Ghan said as he began to smile then added,"May I please have that backpack?" The thug holding the backpack dropped it and ran off. His comrade, a bit slower on the draw, realized he was not only alone against this Jedi; but his weapon laid in two pieces at the Knight's feet. He riased in hands in defeat then he too turned around and ran off. Ghan shut down his lightsaber and placed the hilt back on his waist. He called the backpack to his hands and turned around to leave the alley.

*Dante had seen the man ignite his emerald lightsaber and help the defenseless twi'lek, and so he waited for him to come from the alley and he ignited his blue blade and stood behind the man as he was attempting to leave the alley* "What business does a Jedi have on this planet?" *Dante asked as he twirled his saber* "The sith still have strongholds in this city."

Sith here Ghan thought when the man holding his ignited blade mentioned the name of the swore enemy to the Jedi. Though his former Master taught him there was no such thing as luck when it came to the Force, Ghan still thought it was always against him anyway. Ghan watched the Echani twirl his blade and wondered if he was doing this merely for show or did he think he would scare the Knight into slipping up some how. Ghan smiled at the Echani not concerned with the weapon in his hand. If this Echani was Sith or sought to harm Ghan needlessly, then he would have attacked already rather than talk.

"Nice blade you have there. Even the hilt itself seems crafted by one with knowledge of lightsaber construction....and by judging the way you are holding in and making pretty twirling colours, you didn't take it off a dead Jedi," Ghan responded but was not willing to let this Echani know why a Jedi Knight was here yet. With the ongoing war in the galaxy, far to many Padawans had been captured and corrupted to the dark side; or killed. Still, Ghan sensed no hositlity from the Enchani so he motioned the man to walk with him as he made his way to the female Twi'lek.

After handing her back her belongings, she thanked him and he smiled and noting to her she not need thank him. Then he looked at the Enchani male and nodded for him to follow. Once they were out of ear shot from most of the species in the marketplace, Ghan finally spoke of why he was here. "I was shot down and crashed here on my way back to Coruscant to report to the Council on the progress of the war in this region. Trust me, coming to a planet riddled with Sith was not my first choice. Yet, here I am and now that you have politely told me of Sith here, I shall double my efforts to remain unnoticed until I find passage of the this planet. Still," Ghan paused slightly as a thought occured to him then added,"Perhaps you may be able to tell me how many Sith I'm are dealing with."

When Ghan used the word I'm rather than we the Enchani looked at him with a awkward expression. Ghan waved his hand dismissively before saying,"Your reasons for leaving the Order are yours and yours alone. Therefore, you need not explain yourself to me. Your part in this war....the battles over light and darkness have come to an end. You chose this new life, so please, enjoy your choices and don't regret a single thing."

*Dante chuckled as he deactivated his lightsaber* "You mistake me." *He said with a slight cringe before speaking* "The Sith are no friend of mine. The sith turned my own brother against me and my younger siblings. In the end, I was the last one standing...... but I have never forgotten the rage that drove me to take vengeance upon my brother." *He said as he sighed* "There are more than one-hundred sith in the temple up on the mountain." *He pointed to the mountain in which he himself came from* "But they also prowl the city, searching for jedi and most likely me since word has reached of my return home." *He looked at the Jedi standing before him* "How many sith have you killed?"

Ghan rubbed his chin as the Enchani spoke of what had befallen his family and the raised his eyebrows slightly when he heard the number of sith inhabiting this region. They would have to tread carefully and avoid drawing any attention, no matter how small or insignificant, to themselves. Then heard the Enchani ask him how many Sith he had killed. The Jedi Knight sighed slightly at the question. "I do not keep count of those that I was forced to kill. Instead, I meditiate on the loss of life I am forced to take. Choices....everyone has to make choices in life, be it through coercion or temptation or of free will. Just because someone has chosen to embrace the dark side does not mean they should be eliminated or percieved as an enemy. No, as Jedi....we should help those that have been misled or misguided by greed for power seek the path of salvation once more."

Ghan looked around the area and spotted two Imperial soldiers patrolling the marketplace. Without taking his eyes off them he whispered to the Enchani,"Perhaps we can help each other. But first, we need to find a place to lay low. Standing out in the open is not a wise choice by any means."

(Sorry to tell you this, but clones are not invented yet. Nor the armor. And your post doesn't exactly make sense so I'm gonna reply to Negative Blessing)

*Dante could sense them behind himself as he faced the jedi and had seen him lock eyes upon the imperial's.* "Agreed. Maybe we can help each other. As for the laying low....... follow me." *He said as he slowly turned down the alley and lowered his head to further conceal his face just slightly. As he tried to avoid the Imperial's he only hoped that this new jedi he had met could keep such a steady and quick pace with him and they moved through the crowds of people and towards a open pipe underneath one of the cross bridges. *

Ghan pulled the hood of his robes over his head and began to foolow the Enchani, whose name he had not yet learned, through the various alleys and crowds of people. Ghan spotted what appeared to be an open pipe and supressed his laughter at the thought of going in there. But it was far better than standing out in the open playing lightsaber tag with the Sith. They entered the pipe and Ghan looked over his shoulder and smiled. Not only did they make it but they attracted no attention to himself.

Turning back to face the Enchani, Ghan extended his hand and said,"It seems we have not been properly introduced. I am Jedi Knight Ghan Ur Lo'thoi. And you would be?" Ghan smiled at the Enchani male. He knew the Force guided everyone and everything for a reason, so what did the Force have in store for a Jedi Knight and a former member of the Order?

*Dante extended his hand as well and met the jedi half-way and gave a firm shake of the hand* "Dante Kain, former Darth of the sith order." *He broke the hand-shake in a common manner, not rude or anything, and looked down the dark pipe as he ignited both his red and blue lightsabers to give light inside the tunnel* "I believe it is this way." *He said as he turned right instead of left and began to walk down the dark cave-like pipe.*

"A pleasure to meet you," Ghan said as he watched the Enchani, now known as Dante Kain, light his lightsabers and head further down the pipe. Ghan sought no need to use his lightsaber as a source of light so he let what light the sabers were emitting do the work and he used the Force to be his eyes in the dark. He ehard small creatures scurrying about as the two walked through the barely lit pipe tunnels.

Ghan decided to take this time to speak with the Enchani,"So your brother and siblings were killed by the actions of the Sith. Thus you left thier Order to seek revenge. I am curious, if the Sith took so much from you already....why seek revenge when you should honour your brother's passing. Revenge will not bring them back and it will only create inside you the very nature you seek to avenge now." Ghan never understood the nature of revenge or the passion that drove so many to fall or for those in the Sith. He knew first hand what uncontrolled emotions could result in having once fought his own inner demons. However, Ghan was not here to judge Dante or his actions but to seek a more peaceful solutio to this Enchani's need for revenge.

They passed several openings but they continued down the path the Enchani had chosen. Ghan finally covered his nose and mouth area as the smells began to overpower his senses. He chuckled to himslef as he thought about what his former Master would think of Ghan trompng through pipes.

*Dante cringed before he had answered.* "I would not expect someone of such "light" decent to understand. Once you are brought to the sith order at the age of 13 with nothing but your brothers, and your eldest tells you that it's do-or-die and you kill your own friends just to keep on moving." *He looked back at Ghan* "Me and my brother's survived the trials by sticking together and becoming more savage than man. And the sith fed on it. Raziel was the worst. He enjoyed the bloodshed, he drew upon it. And when the time came, he would weed out those who knew his weakness, me and my brothers."

*Dante began to grit his teeth as he spoke more and moved once more down the pipeline* "Killing Raziel was not just a quest for revenge, it was breaking him down and showing him how weak and mindless he had become to be controlled by the sith." *He looked once more at Ghan but still moved on* "He looked at me and he knew that all he had done, all the blood of his kin had stained him..... all but my blood. And in that moment we had realized that the sith were not wanting to make him the stronger.... but me...... and they succeeded. When I beheaded the last of the Kain legacy except for myself.... I wanted to savor the taste, the taste that he had felt when he killed each of them.... and it was bitter. And the worst part is-I loved it." *He looked forward and swallowed* "And that's why I left the order. I could not become what he himself had..... and my quest to avenge my brothers was over."

*He stopped* "We're here" *he said as he came to a dead end and knocked on wall in front of them and it began to open*

Ghan listened to the Echani speak with passion and at times felt his anger rise to the pointe of boiling over. Ghan did not see any reason to interupt him and felt the Enchani needed to speak these words not in an attempt to make Ghan understand them, but rather for the Echani himself to believe his own words. He was right, Ghan never walked in the dark side of the Force but there was a time he had been tempted and almost allowed hia anger to plant the roots of corruption into his mind; but he resisted the primal urge to lash out and strike down his opponent. He knew his understanding of the dark side was limited but he was above passing judgmental views upon others regardless of thier choices in life.

"If you believe....truly believe that this is your fate and destiny....then far be it for me to stand in your way of achieving what you have already set your mind upon. I do ask this. When you have fully completed all you have set out to do, take some time and meditate on what it was you were truly seeking to acomplish," The Jedi Knight said never raising his voice or allowing a questioning or mocking tone come to fruitation. Ghan was young and there was much he needed to learn about not only the galaxy but himself. "Revenge is a powerful motivator less it controls you," Ghan finished and fell silent for the remaining duration of the walk.

At last he heard Dante say they were here and Ghan looked around. They had reached a dead end so where was here? Then the Echani knocked on the wall and it slowly opened for the duo. Ghan looked at Dante and smiled. So they had arrived to a secret exit.

*Once the door had lifted to it's limit, Dante deactivated his ligthsabers and behold. A underground city. 10 miles of concrete tunneling and flooring. Streets full of drug vendors and weapon vendors. Many urgently seeking ammo to defend against the sith above. This part of the planet was indeed hidden and most Echani knew nothing of it. This was built hundreds of years ago to house smugglers and bounty hunters. Both of which are still inhabiting this place today and their various species.* "Welcome to the underground. Where identities go to die." *He chuckled as he stepped forward onto the platform that moved in and out of the underground city and to the various entrance points*

Ghan nodded at the sight before him. He never even been to this planet before and yet he found a underground city on his first visit; well with the aid of Dante of course. This place was truly amazing. UIt reminded the young Knight of the undercity back on the capital city of Coruscant where all the wicked and undesirables choose to live. And if it was just like the undercity, then Ghan knew that there was much danger here too. But what he felt most of all was all the suffering he felt through the Force. That and coupled with the stench of desperation, this unknown city was surviving which amazed the Knight even more.

"So I am to assume that the Sith know nothing of this place or they would have already sought to take from these sentients as well. Thank you for trusting me and helping me up to this pointe," Ghan said never taking his eyes off the underworld city.

"The sith indeed know nothing of the underground. They may look like ruthless lowlife, but honestly, this underground is the only safe-haven on the planet from the sith. This is where I disappeared after the war for almost 3 years." *He thought back on the time spent here for a moment until his conscious came back to him as the hover-board docked to the level B-7.* "You will want to change into more casual dress-ware. You wreak of jedi." *He said with a chuckle* "You'll also need a blaster. Whether you use it for show or actually use it is up to you. I personally think they are more uncivilized"

Ghan agreed with the Enchain that he needed to change his attire but supressed a chuckle at the mention of the blaster. He would take one only for appearences but he would never use it. A blaser or any projectile weapon was uncivilized and it took away from the honour of fighting if it came down to it. His former Master had once told him that only a honourable warrior chooses to face his opponent face to face rather than hiding in shadows and taking pot shots at them with blasters.

"It is wise for the Sith to never learn of this place. They will conquer all those oppose them and enslave the ones who choose to not take up arms against them," Ghan said as the hover board finally docked. Ghan stepped on to the platform that was desginated as B-7 and followed Dante to a clothing outfit. Ghan searched the various colours and styles of clothing until he realized these would not do. So he bought a new outfit and found a local sitting against a cracked wall on a run down looking building.

Ghan explained to the man he wished to exchange the new outfit for the ones the man was wearing. At first the man was hesitant until Ghan offered to throw in 500 credits as part of the exchange. The man's eyes lit up and accepted the deal. Ghan and the man slipped into a dark alley where they exchanged clothes. After putting on his newly aquired clothes, Ghan took his Jedi robes and tore them apart then finally disposed of them in a trash receptical in the alley. He clipped his hilt to his waist and let the shirt hang down covering it. He took the man's belt and wrapped it around his waist. Ghan took one look at himself and smiled. He should fit in now.

He exited the alley and looked at Dante who was looking at him with amusement in his eyes. "Now all I need is a small hold out blaster to complete the transformation from Jedi to pauper," the Knight said with a slint of humour in his voice.

*Dante nodded* Very good. *He tossed him a modified hold-out blaster. Something like this would surely classify him as nothing more than a common bounty hunter.* "The problem now is that we need to find a place to lay low." *He looked around and his eye caught a cantina/hotel combination* "If you would, go reserve us a room. I need to take care of something first." *With that he began to walk over to a weapons merchant and he began to speak to the Kel'Dor.*

Ghan caught the weapon in his hand rather than using the Force and clipped it to the belt he gotten from the man. He looked up at Dante nodding,"Indeed we need to find a place." Ghan followed Dante's gaze at saw he was eyeing a hotel/cantina and immeditaly understood. "I will leave word at the front desk which room I have procured for us. May the For....," Ghan cut off his reply, patted Dante on the shoulder, and made his way toward the cantina/hotel.

Upon entering the cantina part of the establishment, several unfamiliar smells invaded Ghan's sense of smell. Using the Force, he used a breathing technique that allowed him to breath without actually taking a breath. With the problem solved, he cautiously moved through the cantina taking notice of all the individuals massed around tables who seemed to have taken an interest in the young Knight. Ghan passed through the cantina area without issue and found sitting at a desk behind the front counter in the hotel section a beautiful looking Zeltron typing on a computer. Ghan smiled at her the instant she looked up from her computer screen and returned the smile.

"Hello, I am in need of a room for at least three nights," Ghan told her as she moved to the front part of the counter. "Well you are in look. For three nights it will be 250 credits. Name?" Not wanting to use his real name he decided to use an alias and replied,"Sirius Nortstrom." The clerk typed the name into the computer on the front counter then asked,"Payment....credits or datacard?" Ghan handed her 250 credits instead of his Jedi datacard, since a datacard could be traced. The Zeltron took the credits, printed up a reciept, and finally handed him the room keycard. "You are on the fourth floor room 405. Thank you for choosing us and pelase enjoy your stay."

Ghan took the keycard then said before leaving,"There is a business associate of mine meeting me here. He is a Echani that goes by the name of Dante. When he arrives, could you please give him the room number. Thank you." The woman nodded her understanding and Ghan left for the turbolift to take him up to the room. On his way to the turbolift he saw two rough looking Rodians watching him.
