*Upon the snow-capped mountain-tops of Eshan's highlands, Dante could see the city in which he was born, raised, and the same place the sith had taken away. When the sith came, there was nothing he could do. Him and his five brothers, Raziel, Koran, Shax, Mavon and Kovec, all became apart of the sith. And before Dante ever broke away, he held each of his brothers in his arms as they died, all however, except for Raziel. For the sith convinced Raziel that the only way to gain full power in the darkside was to eliminate his own kin. Such lies consumed Raziel and in the end, after all the blood had stained Dante's robe, Dante slew his oldest brother and when his head rolled away, Dante would not morn him, but loath him the rest of his days.
Now returning home, Dante hopes to find something he might have missed. He had crossed the southern land of Hurel, the battle-scarred plain where the Empire had a small skirmish, and over the mountain he had reached the city of Kain. His father, before his death, had led the Echani of this city out of poverty and war. Thus, the city was named after him. His mother, however, was still alive as he could find out. What had become of her was unknown, but one thing was certain, Dante would find her and have to tell her of her fallen son, Raziel, and the deaths of her four other boys.*
*Dante's arrival had spread quickly, almost everyone knew that the last Kain had returned home, and maybe some may help him in his quest for family. Passing just by the industrial sector, Dante could see the silhouettes of some men, most likely, coming from the corner. This time had become particularly hard and money was a coveted thing. Though, If they tried to get a jump on the young Echani, they may have a not-so-pleasant encounter.*
