"Only way a criminal escapes jail in Wayfar is at the wrong end of a blaster. I make sure of that."
NAME: Leebus Bagrodi
FACTION: Independent
RANK: Marshal of Wayfar, Tatooine
SPECIES: Human
AGE: 45
GENDER: Male
HEIGHT: 6"2
FORCE SENSITIVE: Not Force Sensitve

APPEARANCE:
Leebus Bagrodi is an older man, with large, bushy eyebrows, large wrinkles around his brown eyes, and a wide, short nose. His neck is short and he has a larger chin than most, protruding slightly out of his face. He has straight, well kempt black hair. He sports a minor stubble on a low spot of his chin, a spot he missed while grooming his face. He wears a black cowboy hat with a large brim. He also often wears a light blue polo shirt with the collar opened, and an opened dark blue vest. On the right side of his vest is a large, shined to perfection star-shaped badge with the word "MARSHAL" emblazoned on it. He wears a black gun belt with a golden buckle, and wears black fancy pants, and large leather boots with intricate detailing etched into them.

ATTRIBUTES:
+Crack Shot

Leebus's life on the dangerous galactic frontier has taught him a thing or two about using a blaster. Leebus is extremely accurate and deadly with a blaster, his shots nearly always landing on their target. He also has gun twirling skills that he likes to show off at the local saloon, much to the chagrin of the townsfolk trying to enjoy their drinks.
+Book Smart
Leebus has read a treasure-trove of books about galactic law, policing, and the history of the former Republic. Leebus has also read many books about war history and strategy, granting him an enclopydia's worth of knowledge about battle tactics and strategies, due to his obession with the subject of law and related subjects.

-By The Book
Leebus can be extremely proficient in combat with all of his knowledge and experience, but he is also very reluctant to use unconventional strategies, even ones that are just variations on the ones he has learned from his books. Leebus will instead suggest a different strategy, which can sometimes result in a better result then going with an unorthodox strategy would have netted. This can prove to be extremely frustrating to those who usually don't play by the book and come up with their own strategies when facing problems, especially the many triggermen he hires to acts as temporary deputies to assist him.
-No Mercy
The town of Wayfar is safe, mostly free from marauding bandits and Tusken Raiders, far less than any other isolated settlement on Tatooine, all thanks to the Marshal and his deputies. But this comes at a price. Marshal Bagrodi is extremely unforgiving to even relatively harmless and small crimes, like bantha rustling, often handing out lengthy jail sentences or even executing outlaws on the spot for their transgressions.
-Large Ego
Bagrodi's ego is large, inflated by his vast knowledge and experience. It has become even more inflated ever since he became Marshal of Wayfar, because he is well aware of the fact that were it not for himself and the deputies protecting the town, Wayfar would be at the complete mercy of the unforgiving galaxy. He regularly can be seen giving speeches in the town square about "the rule of law" and how he is the "only barrier separating Wayfar from the savage outside world". Bagrodi can overestimate his abilites greatly, to the point where he may even charge into situations he is completely unprepared for, believing that the scenario requires no need for planning, and then gets his ego put in check. But no matter how many times this happens, Bagrodi's ego seems to not dissipate, coming back stronger than ever. This can be an extremely deadly flaw, and Bagrodi must become aware of it soon if he is to not have his career end prematurely.
PERSONALITY:

One can understand Bagrodi's personality from having but a passing glance at him. His ironed and clean clothes, and his groomed to near-perfection hair. He plays by the rules and is incredibly resistant to change or "breaking" of the rules. He is a man of ideals, believing that the only way for society to truly prosper and the Outer Rim to be civilized is to give all criminals execution or lengthy jail sentences, regardless of the severity of the crime. This plays into his role in groups as well. He is often a leader, commanding his deputies into battle, or is a second-in-command, challenging leaders who play fast and loose with the official rules of battle. He is not one to abstain from showing off, often engaging in duels with criminals to show his skills with a gun, and to also easily execute a criminal as well. Bagrodi is not a cunning man, he often relies on other members of his group to do the planning, and prefers to be the one to execute the plan. Bagrodi's is quick to anger, and often acts on emotion when it comes to criminals. In one case he even executed a low-time criminal on the spot, who threatened to get his gang to roll into town and shoot it up. Bagrodi, instead of locking up the criminal, decided to put a new window in his head, kiling him on the spot with his blaster, saying that he "couldn't take the risk" to one of his deputies to justify the act.

BIOGRAPHY:
Bagrodi was born 90 years after the Battle of Yavin on Ord Mantell. His father was a member of the local planetary defense force. His father instilled in him values of justice, obedience, and right from wrong at an early age, which the child took to heart. He also taught him how to use a blaster effectively at age 14. The rest of his childhood was uneventful until he turned 17, the age where one could begin training at the local academy. Bagrodi wanted to grow up to be a lawman like his father from an early age, and threw himself at his studies in the academy, becoming one of the top students in his class. Bagrodi graduated from the school with full honors, and would be subject to further acclaim among his peers, when he helped an old man fend off a mugger who was attempting to steal his wallet in an alleyway. Bagrodi, despite having shot the criminal with his holdout blaster once decided to let the criminal go, the man scurrying off into the night.
A few weeks later, he heard that the old man had been murdered, and they had captured his killer, who was the thief that Bagrodi had let go.
Bagrodi felt an intense amount of guilt, and entered a state of deep depression. His father attempted to support him all he could, but Bagrodi was inconsolable. Bagrodi left Ord Mantell a few years later, wanting to get as far away from the planet and his problems as he could. After bouncing from planet to planet for several years, job to job, Bagrodi seemed to find his calling. A member of the Wayfar Sherrif's Department on Tatooine. Leebus looked up to the leader of the station, Marshal Jeeseir Gradoili, an old Rodian from the planet Nar Shadda. Jeesir Gradoili taught Leebus even more about how to use a blaster, netting him even greater skill and experience than he had gained from his time at the academy and his father's teachings. He also taught him about his personal philosophy, that despite criminals commiting evil acts, they could be redeemed and should still be treated as humanely as possible. Bagrodi would go on a number of high-profile jobs under Marshal Gradoili for the next few years, Bagrodi becoming the Marshal's right hand man, until tradegy again would strike. Jeesir was murdered by a gang-member they had let go for good behavior, and Gradoili would promote Bagrodi to the Marshal with his dying words. Bagrodi would take Jessir's badge and pistol, vowing to take revenge on the men who had killed Gradoili.

The now Marshal Bagrodi, in a fit of rage, ordered the gang that the man belonged to, The Jackals, be tracked down and destroyed. In the following weeks, several raids and assaults on Jackal hideouts would follow, carried out by Bagrodi's deputies and hired guns. This set the tone for his career as Marshal.
After the Jackals were destroyed, Marshal Bagrodi gave a rousing speech in the middle of town, declaring that trials would be swift and justice would be delivered even swifter, and Bagrodi brought out the leader of the Jackals, and shot him in the head, killing him instantly.

Bagrodi continues to serve as Sherrif of Wayfar, delivering his own brand of vigilante justice to the frontier.

SKILLS:
Gunslinger: Bagrodi was taught to be an expert gunslinger by all of the experience in his life. Bagrodi has a frightening level of accuracy and speed, dropping vagabonds in mere seconds. Bagrodi is somewhat of a legend on Tatooine, inspiring fear in all criminals and wrongdoers on the planet.
Knowledge: All of Bagrodi's time studying law and history has netted him a great memory of battle tactics and strategy. If you do something by the book, chances are Bagrodi will know what it is before you even say it.
