Hi all, well i guess it's bye.
I've been tossing up for a while now on what to do should i come back, i've been looking over the site and discussing it with people but over the new rules changes and banned powers namely force light and force enlightenment being banned (though i guess it's not the same as oneness), I no longer have a story to tell here.
As some of you may or may not know, my Jedi Orphen was more or less my core character, having built her up from literally a seven year old youngling, and i reached to about the age of 21 with her over the course of her role-plays. She was a young girl who was separated from the dark side of the force, which gave her a cool dynamic, and was crippled because of it, not feeling dark emotions was a negitive of hers which i loved playing, She found the Legendary anterres crystal (under staff approval, thank you for that <3) after the crystal hunt threads which kicked off a really cool story about a young/ sapling of a weak Jedi who had an extraordinary destiny (thanks to all the people who joined in!). She met and befriended people from EVERY faction, (thank you all!) I was going to build her up into a master of force light, and inevitably her plotline was that she would become the first Jedi since Cade to attain living oneness with the force, but i feel now that that plotline could not happen with the new restrictions.
And with her gone, I no longer feel the urge to roleplay here, the site seems to be moving in the direction of the movies, as opposed to the games which i am the most familiar with. And that seems to be the tone the Admins would like to set here, where the force is still great and powerful, but downplayed because of its difficulty, much like the movies. Where telekinesis and ligtning is a big deal and the greater applications introduced by the games is more unheard of or restricted for site plot only. Which i find personally a little less interesting to be honest.
I have posted up Orphen's leaving thread, which sums up her story, which people are open to use as a place or NPC, or it can be stripped from canon but i would like it to be uninterrupted as it's more or less the epilogue of the character.~ I hope people can respect that due to the time and effort i put into her.
And with the end of that character, I will bid you all goodbye, its been fantastic writing with some of you, and arguing and somehow causing drama with others which I found more or less hilarious, and gives me chuckles to this day. I'll more than likely stalk around and of course as i know people here will no doubt hear about site current affairs.
For the purpose of Orphens thread, and all other threads, please consider her to have left, as 'something more important has suddenly arisen,' Simply to set her epilogue in stone~
