This was something that I had considered doing for at least two years and has nothing to do with Jiang's resignation.
My activity on SWRP had been gradually dropping over the years (thank you, college), from daily activity to once every few days. From a professional perspective, that is simply unacceptable. On top of that, my near future will likely see even worse activity on the site, so I decided that I should step down before the next timeline starts. From past experience, indie faction work comes in bursts and I expect that the timeline change will be no different. Causing a backlog that can last for weeks before I can reach everything is not fair for all of you as members. The worst part of it is that my loss of activity is affecting my ability to keep up with site events, which is fairly important for knowing how indie factions will be affected. I'd have to ask people for links to relevant story threads so that I could get the jist of what is happening, which slows down my ability to help you all. Although I am no longer one of your overlords, I will still be around as a fellow member.
Being an admin has been a genuinely great experience and I have never regretted accepting the admin nominations that I was given back then. Thank you all for your support all those years ago and thank you all for being patient with me for all those years since.
