Born into a family steeped in prestige and strong traditional values, Larkin is among the last in a short line of heirs to the Malreaux name, and what little influence it still carries. Afflicted by an inborn connection to the Force, she lives as an outcast among her own people; ostracized, taciturn and emotionally cloistered.

Denied her heritage by an accident of birth, ambivalent towards social taboos, she eschews tradition to seek her own path. Cunning and shrewd, Larkin amuses herself by casually plucking at the strings of those around her, delighting in the macabre spectacle which ensues from her meddling. Above all, she plots to reclaim her birthright as scion of House Malreaux... at any cost.

  With her impeccably manicured appearance, conceited demeanor and patronizing mannerisms, Larkin is every bit the cultured, discerning socialite she was raised to be. Supremely self-confident, some might even say arrogant, she confronts every challenge with an almost relentless, methodical logic characterized by implacable rationalism.
  
  On the surface and in public, she comports herself with the same noble bearing of any self respecting aristocrat. Beneath her social facade though, Larkin mocks these stodgy practices through a wry sense of humor. Highly opinionated, she seldom misses an opportunity to express her dissatisfaction with the status quo; though her voice rarely reaches a revolutionary pitch.
  
  Though she enjoys the modest privileges afforded by her social stature, Larkin finds such lofty trappings blasé, possessing a strong sense of wanderlust. Indeed, it is not uncommon to find her mingling with commoners or traveling abroad to immerse herself among the galaxy's myriad cultures. Motivated by a boundless curiosity, Larkin is fascinated by people and places, and has developed a particular talent for seeking out the esoteric.
  
  Despite presenting herself as emotionally aloof, a trait born from a less than functional relationship with her family, Larkin can be perfectly affable towards those she trusts. Like most well off socialites though, she enjoys being the better half of any relationship and can prove exceedingly vain - even callous - when it comes to preserving her image. Regardless, those with thicker skin willing to accommodate her discriminating tastes will find Larkin to be a stable, if not somewhat eccentric, acquaintance.
