As they grew up, they were all given a fair amount of freedom which promoted independence. Lanna would spend her time wandering around and playing with other children from early morning, until the light began to dim on the horizon, unlike her older siblings. Her sister, the oldest, was expected to help her mother do the chores, while her brother would fix droids when her father was gone.
Lanna lived on Tatooine until she was eleven years old. A Jedi Master who visited the planet, offered her parents to let their force sensitive daughter to go train as a Jedi. Because Tatooine provided few such opportunities, her parents were very openminded to the offer. Not before long, she was on her way to fulfill a glorious purpose. Or so she imagined. Everything is dreamier as a child.
She trained under General Maksem as an initiate, until she was sixteen years old. It was at that time, she was showing qualities of high independence, so the Jedi Army sent her from world to world, all over the galaxy to accomplish their work. By her seventeenth birthday, she graduated into a Jedi Knight. It was around that time, she began to question the morals of her work. Being a Jedi Knight was not as glamorous as she assumed it would be as child. Despite the strong demand to grow up, she didn’t fight it. Instead, she complied, and trained hard. Through this process, she did not become the Jedi she envisioned as a child, but a decayed version of it.
After accepting the reality of her life, and the decisions she had made about being a Jedi, she began to deal with her issues. She buried her anger, and emotions until not a loose strand of it could get in her way. They are still there, but almost never surface. Through this method of strict focus, she rose through the ranks of the Jedi Order, to not only General, but a member of the Jedi Council. She remained on the council for an amount of time, going about her duties, and completing jobs for the Jedi. It was during this time that she truly settled in with her career. There was no more room on the ladder to climb, so the woman went about conquering every aspect of her work that she could possibly deal with. Of course, new subjects to resolve were always appearing around the galaxy, so she was not without interest to occupy her mind, and responsibilities to occupy her body.
She fell into her galaxy of war. Lanna made many companions, enemies, and even the occasional love interest. Despite the position she was in, her mind was already drifting to other ideas. She needed to move, and explore something else. So she resigned her position on the council with little no explanation, and made room for independent work.

As she grew up, she changed from being young and worried about things, to greatly not giving a ****. It can be perceived as being overly confident, but not in an arrogant sort of way. Instead, she is prideful. To her, arrogance lacks dignity, while pride builds a façade of dignity. Lanna may be messy and careless about certain things, but she always maintains an image of class.
She’s cynical and eccentric. Her inner default setting to not care tends to show through her sometimes-dramatic movements and candy coated sarcasm. She doesn’t hold back the occasional eye roll, or display of impatience to write itself on her expression. Even though she has no filter on her actions, she is particularly careful with her words. She’s still honest, but much more creative with the way in which she delivers her speech. To some people, she’s absurdly offensive. Of course this can be considered the case once you take into consideration that she’s not excessively rude or lack there of. She displays only the most precise reactions to the material she is given.
Exclusively, when she is alone or with specific individuals, does she let down her charade of extroverted eccentricity. She sinks into a space of alcoholic ease, and blank acceptance of her surroundings. Every now and then, on the rare occasion, she will say something from deep down inside, without tweaking it to appease a certain agenda or goal.
