L4D or CoD5?

I just got payed big bucks for shovelling mulch the past couple of days, and now I want to get a super awesome game for my PC. I really want to get Left 4 Dead, but I've heard that CoD 5 is a better multiplayer game. I'm torn!

I would recommend COD5, actually. I hated L4D because it was so repetitive.

If you're looking for multiplayer fun on PC, Left 4 Dead is the better choice between the two.

L4D, I love that game...Not that COD5 isn't great, because it is.

L4D is just the most fun a multi player game has ever been for me.

...I may be super jumpy ( I'm one of those annoying people you hear on live that gets so into the game they scream) but that can make for a good laugh on a zombie game.

Can't wait for the second game

I'm going to say L4D since you are with the brainles people who call Call of Duty: World at War COD5, and since COD:WAW has a sertain stagnent after playing nazie zombies 200 times, and since the online play for COD:WAW has alot of exploits and cheaters so I would say L4D definatly.

You'll get a longer time with the multiplayer with COD 5, L4D eventually gets a bit repetitive and I don't know about the rest of you guys; but most people i've played with online suck hardcore. In COD, yeah there is the noobs and the assholes that think that being good at video games is a lifestyle or something; but all and all I have been able to play COD a lot longer than I have L4D. Though do not get me wrong; both games are equally fun.

It's actually just Modern Warfare 2 now. I'm assumeing that Infinity Ward didn't want to be associated with Call of Duty anymore due to every other year Treyarch just took their tech and advancements and made their own game which until WaW were lackluster.

Left 4 Dead is better in my opinion but not compared to the new Shi No Numa map for CoD:WaW. The four PCs are hilarious and afte six times playing through they are still saying new and hilarious things that I haven't heard before. The map is the biggest Nazi Zombies map yet and late at night with the lights off the hellhounds are genuinely creepy.

I'd wait a few months to be honest, both CoD MW2 come out and L4D2 in November.

Not to mention you'll have a few updates to dl for L4D and learning the game.
