BIOGRAPHY

Kraken Read was born on the planet Deveron to a wealthy family. His parents were each medical doctors, though their son would chose a different path in life. Kraken would prove to be a very intelligent child, with the ability to be quite cunning and slick when making arguments. This lead him having dreams of becoming the galaxy's greatest defense attorney. He would study for four years at the University of Deveron where he would receive a bachelor's in communications. Following this, he would attend law school at the university of Courscant. Though not the valedictorian of his class, the man still received high marks as he graduated.

As a young attorney he would begin by practicing divorce law. It was a simple start, but one that would pave the way for him to eventually take criminal defense cases across the galaxy. On one especially infamous occasion, he crated a legendary legal defense strategy commonly known as "The Chewbacca Defense". It was a tactic that attempted to confuse the jury with historical events, rather than refute the opponent's direct argument. To the surprise of many, he was able to get a famous Huttball player off of murder charges with such tactics.

Since then, he has taken up several high profile defense cases across the galaxy, and has stated there is no case he will not take.
