HISTORY​

Komad Industries was founded by Echani prodigy Aden Komad, who designed the prototype predecessor to the Enforcer war droid at the age of fifteen. He built the company from the ground up at the age of sixteen. Using the funds and connections he gained after he assassinated a crime lord on Nar Shaddaa. In just five short years he has designed several innovative and revolutionary new technologies. Despite his young age, his business sense and intelligence is unrivaled by even the most seasoned corporate minds. He even acquired all trademarks, rights, and designs related to the Proton-8 Reactor Core, an incredible power source that despite it's compact size and unparalleled power output was left it in corporate purgatory for years due to very expensive cost production. Mr. Komad saw an opportunity, however, and purchased it. He then redesigned the reactor to such a degree that it lowered the production costs remarkably, yet lost none of it's power production capabilities. And this is just one of his many successes! Financial Records​

Criminal Organization Residual Funds - 100,000 Credits: These were the credits Aden acquired after killing a Nar Shaddaa crime lord and taking over his organization. It was these he used to establish himself as a powerful figure and create Komad Industries from scratch.

Nor'baal's Cantinas - 350,000 Credits: With the Hutt dead, all of the cantinas he built for Komad Industries are now fully under their control. All profits now go into Aden's company.

Tion Coalition Contract: The Lost Throne - 1,000,000 Credits: A contract made with the Tion Coalition to help acquire, repair, refit, and make The Lost Throne a mobile command center for their faction.

Freedom Fighter Contract: R&D Facility - 830,000 Credits: A contract made with the Freedom Fighter rebel group to design, build, and establish a hidden research and development facility.

Fighter Contract - 7,000,000 Credits: A bulk purchase of starfighters made for a supposed Crime Lord. Agents are looking into it further.

Hive Manufacturing Residual Funds - 250,000 Credits: What little money the company had left was transferred to Komad Industried, before the company was officially disbanded and absorbed.

Assets​

Personnel/Droids
Mechanic Corp(500) - Komad Industries personnel specializing in repair, maintenance, and general upkeep of KI property.
Engineers(1,250) - The backbone of any production company. They are responsible assembling ships, droids, and everything else they design at KI.
Scientists(450) - Responsible for advancing the technological superiority of Komad Industries and experimenting on various, top secret programs.
Security Personnel(750) - Men and women responsible for internal and external security of KI facilities, shipments, etc.
Mercenary Contractors(375) - Mercenaries hired to work only for KI. Smugglers, pirates, bounty hunters, and ex-soldiers make up this group.
Intelligence Network(250) - Spies, informants, and undercover operatives that whisper secrets to Aden.
Infantry(1,000) - What Aden likes to call 'organic' infantry. Soldiers trained as vigorously as any other military and equipped with advanced technologies.
Droid Forces( 3,500) - The primary force of KI's military power. Enforcers, Tank Droids, and the ever feared Reapers number among this demographic.
Pilots(1,500) - From simply working the shipping lanes to participating in dogfights, the pilots of KI are ready for anything.
Medical Personnel(650) - Doctors hired from various clinics and even from illustrious schools from across the galaxy.
B1 Battle Droids(750) - Clone War era battle droids remade with advanced technology. Acquired from Hive Manufacturing after their bankruptcy.
B2 Battle Droids(500) - Clone War era battle droids remade with advanced technology. Acquired from Hive Manufacturing after their bankruptcy.
BX Droid Commandos(125) - Clone War era commando droids remade with advanced technology. Acquired from Hive Manufacturing after their bankruptcy.
Droideka(150) - Clone War era droideka remade with advanced technology. Acquired from Hive Manufacturing after their bankruptcy.
OOM Pilot Droids(250) - Clone War era pilot droids remade with advanced technology. Acquired from Hive Manufacturing after their bankruptcy.

Artix Fighters(300) - One of the three types of superior, advanced starfighters manufactured by Komad Industries.
Riptide Starfighters(300) - One of the three types of superior, advanced starfighters manufactured by Komad Industries.
Tidal Wave Starfighters(300) - One of the three types of superior, advanced starfighters manufactured by Komad Industries.
Vulture Droid Starfighters(125) - Clone War era starfighters remade with advanced technology. Acquired from Hive Manufacturing after their bankruptcy.
Hyena Droid Bombers(100) - Clone War era bombers remade with advanced technology. Acquired from Hive Manufacturing after their bankruptcy.
Droid Tri-Fighters(100) - Clone War era starfighters remade with advanced technology. Acquired from Hive Manufacturing after their bankruptcy.

Buildings/Establishments​

Komad Industries Mobile Asteroid Base - The primary base of operations for Komad Industries. Aden built it long ago and it still wanders the Unknow Regions to this day. It is able to produce much of their technology with a moderately-sized shipyard, R&D facilities, several weapon factories, barracks, personnel housing, several other facilities, and of course Aden's "Palace."

Nor'baal's Cantinas(5) - Cantinas offered to Komad Industries. Aden accepted as it helped raise employee morale, especially for those on distant worlds or deep in the Unknown Regions, and they also received 15% of the profits.

Komad Industries Office: Coruscant - High on the 901st floor of one of the most prominent buildings in Coruscant's premiere corporate sector, sits Komad Industries' front offices. It is the location where most of Komad Industries clients visit in order to negotiate contracts, orders, and alliances.

The Retreat - A private palace designed by Aden for Aden, but is also used to host events. Built on the beautiful, untamed jungle paradise world Abbaji; it is an incredible sight to behold.

Factions
Hive Manufacturing - A company that builds the venerable droids, ships, and vehicles from the Clone Wars but with better technology and updated systems. After experiencing the loss of several leaders and executive personnel, the Hive was nearing bankruptcy. On the verge of collapse Aden Komad offered to keep them afloat and become a Primary Investor, taking the company under his wing as a new branch of Komad Industries. Now as their parent corporation he seeks to make them an active and profitable group, helping them as a new addition to his faction.

Quest/Special ​

Yirim the Black - An infamous Trandoshan mercenary famed for killing two hundred and thirteen pirates, within two days, on his own along the Outer Rim.

Jedispawn - A luxury, top of the line freighter stolen from a crime lord. A gleaming thing, but housing a hidden and deadly arsenal.

The Guardian - This Lucrehulk-class battleship, was once the pride of Hive Manufacturing. It was originally designed as a mobile command center and factory. Now after the company has been absorbed into Komad Industries, it acts as a second and mobile production facility. Further increasing KI's ability to fabricate technology.

Wait Nor'baal's back?! Didn't you archive him? I remember being really sad that you did. Does that mean that you are returning to the Faction in the same capacity that you were prior to mothballing the "Nor Ball"? :p

Not necessarily. You archived Nor'baal. If you didn't give them an IC explanation for his sudden disappearance, then it is perfectly reasonable for Komad Industries to assume Nor'baal is dead. They may be wrong, but that isn't a lie. It's an assumption.

Now, if you did make up a story to explain why Nor'baal disappeared and they knew about it, then they would be lying... even so, it doesn't mean they can't attempt to seize his assets while he is away or occupied with something else. Key word is attempt. If they want to seize your character's assets, they need to role-play it. They can't magically transfer those assets from one indie faction to another. That means Nor'baal can make an appearance and fight them off if you want.

They were the assets that Nor'Baal put on Komad property. He opened Cantina's to make money off of Komad Employees. I don't think (I could be wrong) that Wanderer tried to absorb all of Nor'baal's assests
