Adenn Ren stepped out of his TIE Murmur and glanced up at the harsh, cold sky of the planet Khar Delba. Flakes of snow and ice fell lightly on his face and began to melt; and, for a moment, he closed his eyes and focused on the cold. He liked freezing places like this. Frozen worlds felt like the Force. Felt like the Shadow. And when he stood on worlds like Khar Delba, the freezing winds helped him to imagine the Shadow all around him, making him far stronger.
But there was something else out there. He could feel it out somewhere in the trees. A hunger. It had not yet noticed the Knights of Ren had come to Khar Delba, but Adenn sensed that it would soon enough. And there something else... Something beyond it. The hunger—and whatever was causing it—was masking something else. Something hidden. Perhaps the machine they were to be looking for?

His eyes snapped opened and cut across the clearing to Kai. He briefly wondered if the other Knight was responsible, but dismissed the thought almost as quickly as it formed. No one knew his birth name. He had merely been hearing things.
"There is a machine in these woods. We are to find it and destroy it." Adenn speaks the words like a command, though he has no authority over the other Knight. But, in truth, he cares little about this fact. Over the past several weeks, he had come to believe that many of the so-called Knights were calling themselves such for the sake of the name and the terror it inspired. They cared nothing of the Shadow. Of the Ren. And so Adenn had grown less able to conceal his disgust for them. "Follow my lead, and don't fail me."
Without waiting to hear Kai's protests, Ren whirled, pulling the hood of his robes back over his head, and stalked off into the woods. @Darasuum
