I'm surprised no one has brought up Generations yet.

For me, there's a barely a fraction in the difference between my like for Kirk and my like for Picard, but Picard steals the top spot in the end.

Same with me.

Also, anyone who didn't like Star Trek: The Motion Picture can meet me at the playground at 3 o'clock, because I'm going to beat you up.

You mean it's safe to say openly that I actually like that movie?

This. I still watch Deep Space 9, all the characters in that series are just... better, at least to me. His acting came off as a little too dramatic for my tastes at first, but damn - he became my favorite captain in no time flat after just a few episodes. Especially after the Dominion War

There were some epic battles in DS9. Spent years building up to it then went ****ing ape shit. Loved it.

Say what you will about The Final Frontier, but the Yosemite scenes were really good. Even the sing-a-long.

My idea for a Star Trek reboot on TV has Commander James T. Kirk, shortly before being promoted to Captain and being given command of the Enterprise, trying and failing to climb El Capitan. I use that as a metaphor for Kirk truly being a good captain. If he can reach the top, then he’s become the Captain James T. Kirk that we all know.

I'd love a new Sci Fi series just in general, like Game of Thrones/Walking Dead/Breaking Bad in space basically, the same quality and writing and all of that jazz.

If there had to be a new Star Trek series though, I'd prefer a new crew. Perhaps a rag tag crew of independents though? Like a bunch of people from different parts of the galaxy end up having to work together on a single ship in some crazy ****ed up part of the galaxy.
