Appearance:
For an Edemmian female Kira is rather tall standing at 1.77 meters she is capable of looking most people eye to eye. Her strict body building regiment keeps her body toned and capable of performing her duties without falter. Like all Edemmians, Kira's forearms are covered in fur, hers being black, and the ends of her fingers are tipped with claw like nails. Both of her legs have been replaced with cybernetics at the hip.Two large ears sprout from her head. Her hair is usually kept tied in a ponytail. Kira's usual attire are loose combat pants kept up with a belt, a jacket and a pair of boots. She despises wearing heavy clothes.

Biography:
Kira was born the only female out of a litter of six cubs within the polyamorous Edemmian family known as the Kaladonna household. Her family lived on the outskirts of the Edemmian capital city of Nesharra where most of her family etched out a meager existence as factory workers or mechanics. As a child life was hard growing up as her family had very little and sometimes went days without food. Between her family's austere living conditions and her many brothers consistent practical jokes tempered her resolve.

Upon reaching adulthood Kira enlisted in the Edemmian Defense Corps determined to escape the monotony of life as a factory worker and to learn how to fly, something that she always thought was fascinating. The first year of her service was spent in training and learning how to professionally fly starships. Throughout the course of her career she performed her duties admirably and became known as an adept gunship pilot. One day however her life was turned upside down when she lost control of her gunship during an atmospheric training mission and collided with another gunship. She took a bad blow to the head and her legs were mangled beyond repair in the ensuing crash. After receiving a new pair of cybernetic legs she was given a medical discharge and mustered out of the EDC when she was 24.

It was here that Kira decided to leave her home planet in search of something new. She came into contact with a trader that needed an extra pair of hands on board his freighter and got a job operating one of the ship's manned turrets and providing muscle when needed. Eventually she saved up enough credits to get a cheap gunship of her own and became a mercenary, seeking to restore faith in herself that she was still a good pilot. The jobs she took managed to pay for her expenses and allowed her to live a reasonably comfortable life.


Personality:
Kira's abrasive and hard personality is a side effect from her time spent in the EDC, the constant taunting of her brothers, and the tragic nature of her accident. While she doesn't go out of her way to be intentionally rude she sometimes misses social cues that can cause her to look heartless at times. She has taken to body building in order to cope with the stresses of combat.
