Yes, my name and I are both scum. So as for the post itself: Don't get me wrong, I don't think you have any malicious intent or anything, but that seems pretty meta to me. It seems like you're shooting him for wearing a poncho and not having luggage... lol (I know, a slight oversimplification). He's not really moving suspiciously (just walking) and stops behind some crates. Doesn't really seem worthy of shooting someone? Even if you are suspicious of him. But that's just me. @Prudence thoughts?

Wasn't Kira following him and ID'd him? I remember her doing that.

From my understanding, Javik is heading to the north of the spaceport (I assume to get to the fuel tanks), hence wandering. He doesn't seem to be a worker, so him ducking crates and going under a ship would probably look suspicious to a (competent) soldier who's guarding a planet threatened with invasion. If this was some random planet, Jontos probably wouldn't be a snipers post and just confront Javik and ask for ID. The standard stuff. This planets is about to be a warzone. You understand were I'm coming from?

I get where you're coming from, but I still don't agree. :p Yes, what's-her-face/prudii was following him, but with no one having said anything to him or anything, shooting him because a Jedi had a funny feeling seems problematic. Since you brought up professional soldiers, just shooting him would likely be a huge violation of ROE if we were looking at this from a real soldiering perspective.

On another note, I don't think there are any fuel tanks? At least i didn't mention any (unless I missed it in someone else's post). As for walking under the front of a ship.... I mean, they're in a spaceport... walking past and under ships is kinda a given. And he didn't do any suspicious "ducking" behind crates, he just walked around one. I see where you're coming from, but I think you're attributing way more suspicion to his activities than what's actually been written. I've purposely avoided having him act suspicious in the way I've written things. See what I'm saying? At this point, all he's done is walk...

I mean, intentionally trying to break sight with Kira means that he knows he was spotted someone. Jontos is keeping an eye on Javik (who poncho would make him easier to spot, I'd imagine).

Uh...about 300m's or so? I don't know how large the spaceport is. But he's not that far from it. In fact he's inside the spaceport area.

Phoenix, I'm having Jontos Ranger buddies getting the civvies to safety/out of the line of fire. Since Jontos is a Ranger Captain (which probably means he leads a platoon) he would likely have a group with him and having them escorting civvies was my way of giving an excuse on why they aren't firing at Javik and effecting the PVP.

Sorry I was rushing because I thought my 48 hours were nearly up. And you taking issue with every post is fine. Better then us killing your character (through I'm trying to capture him as I'm against killing PCs, especially new ones) because you don't contest.

Not in instant, he was moving while Kira and Javik were chasing them. Frankly, Jontos isn't directly behind Javik (I'm imagining him more being north of his right.) but I was kinda in made a sprint to write that post out of fear of timing out.
