Nodding towards Kranon, Deacon replied, "Alright, here's the ways it's gonna be. You can get in on the cut with us, playin' by my rules, or you can run it y'self and see where it gets you. I'm not lookin' to kill the Senator either; jus' make some good money off of him." He didn't add that he had a message to send the Senator as well. Something special. With that he grinned mischievously at Kranon. Extending a hand, Deke inquired, "So Kranon Vex, you in or out?" He quirked an eyebrow as he asked the question.

Right about then, Deacon heard the sound of glass breaking behind him. Without turning about, he closed his eyes for a moment and was thankful that he hadn't rented a club room in the lower levels of the Outlander's Club like he had previously on another mission. He didn't need hired thugs breaking crap and drawing attention. Looking over his shoulder, he noted that the fellow at least had the sense to pick up his own mess. Good.

Deacon turned about towards the Togrutan female and the fella who was picking up glass. Gesturing towards the roughened coffee table, he replied, "Let's run through the basics here. I've no issue checking out your vessel once we're done, but I am expectin' another participant or two, an' I'm not willing t'jus' up an' walk out on them yet. Like you said, this is gonna be a big job, an' we'll need every hired gun we can git." With that, he ensured that the door was sealed and secured from the inside, before moving towards the middle of the room.

Taking a seat at one side of the coffee table, Deacon began to bring up a rough-looking hologram of a couple of buildings as well as a screen full of data. Gesturing to the two buildings, he remarked, "Now th' Senator'll be the -most- secure when he's in the Senate his home, or pretty much any other governmental building b'tween."

Running his finger along a highlighted route, Deke went on, "The Senator doesn't really have a set schedule that he follows with any regularity... unfortunately, though I have noted that he does travel this route here... indicated in orange... at least two-three times a week." Erecting his posture as he sat back a bit from the table, he added, "Now if we can strike him -real- quick an' sudden like while he's on this route, taking him into one of these safe houses here, here, or here... we'll hav' ourselves a pritty decent chance."

As he pointed to the safe houses, they lit up in a green aura. They weren't exactly 'houses' per se, but were more like... a room in the back of a restaurant... the office portion of an abandoned warehouse... and an apartment in a 'less than desirable' part of town. All swept and secured by him personally earlier in the week. He looked to the others to see what they thought.

Adding, he waved a hand over the hologram, "Of course, I think we should familiarize ourselves with this route at least a few times, if not more, committing the diagram here t'memory so we'll know -exactly- where we are... or the target is... at any time along this route.... Questions? Comments? Anyone?"

Kranon stuck out his hand and shook the man's hand, "I'm in," he said, "As long as I get my fair share, I'm in. Kranon looked as he heard the glass break. He hoped he wasn't dealing with a bunch of amateurs. Kranon followed the man to the table and listened intently to the information. 'This guy really knows his stuff,' Kranon thought to himself, 'Better than my plan.' Kranon laughs to himself. What had he become? He had actually thought about jumping into this thing blindly. He had gotten sloppy. It was time to show the people what Kranon Vex was really about. Kranon downs the rest of his drink. "So we're just gonna ambush him in the middle of the street?"

Daesha returned to her seat, putting herself as far from Shale as she could and still be on the sofa. She analyzed the hologram closely. "Well, we'll want to strike at him en route, as you said, but you know he's bound to have an armed escort," Daesha interjected. "And what with the recent alliance between the Jedi and the Republic, I'd say that we can easily assume at least one could be in his presence. We could survey the route in ambush for a while, weeks even, but I doubt our chances would improve. We should have a strategy to deal with them. Perhaps smoke grenades, or a gaseous sedative. That way we can deal with the group as a whole quickly, and minimize collateral damage. No sense killing those who don't need to be killed."

Daesha leaned back in the chair, pondering deeply. "It's a shame we don't have a skilled slicer on board. If we could get into their computers, we could get this ambush into our ball park. Download his agenda for the week, maybe edit it to make an addition that would lead him into our trap. With a bit of subterfuge, we could even impersonate his escort. Ambush them on their way to receive the Senator and steal their uniforms. Not much good for me, but some uniforms and helmets would make you guys indistinguishable from Republic soldiers. That way, he lets his guard down thinking he's safe with us, and then we have fewer people to fight once the target's in sight. The issue is preventing them from raising an alarm and bringing half an army around our ears.

That brings up another issue. I can't say I feel warm and fuzzy about staying on Coruscant after we have the guy. Personally, I would hightail it to Hutt Space. However, I can also see how they would expect us to do that and have a fleet waiting to take us down." Daesha sighed, shaking her head. "I just don't know Nash. I think a long stake-out is what's going to end up happening here, and then a tough fight."

"Who says change isn't a good thing, Daesha?" Shale asked, a smile tugging at the edge of his mouth. "One good thing about being me, is that I have a skill with computers I never had before. Considering, I am one." he said, turning his condition into a joke. Humor? Still the same. Graveyard as ever. "As for Jedi?" he set a large weapon on the table. "Mandalorian Flechette rifle. Very effective. 175 spikes moving extremely fast is ahrd to block." he sat back, getting back into his element. War.

"I have a small stash of plastic explosives, and..." he trailed off dramatically. "An RSF uniform. The arse that owned it try to best me in a fight. He got a boot to the head, and was relieved of all clothes and his wallet." he smiled. "Mr. Nash, you'll see I am very proficient in my business. I've been doing it all my lives." he said.

A ghost.... her voice continued echoing. He'd seen her face after breaking the glass. She was...afraid of him. Like Erik, after they had been boarded.

The newest addition to the crew inquired, "So we're just gonna ambush him in the middle of the street?"

Nodding over at him, Deacon replied, "Exactly. Right smack dab in the middle. Push through from one side into the side street of our choosing, then drive on from there... Pretty much like a bull dozer." Gesturing towards the hologram, he pointed out a few places where this would be possible. "Here, here, here, and here appear t'be the most likely spots."

The Togruta woman had some legitimate concerns as well. The potential for Jedi protectorate was a good possibility. Deacon remarked as he pointed down at the coffee table's top, not really -at- anything, "Target th' Jedi's Padawan. That'll throw off the Master. Overwhelm the little one, an' the big one will come runnin' to their rescue." Grinning a bit wickedly, he continued, "Leaving the Senator all to ourselves."

After listening to Shale speak, Deacon quirked an eyebrow when he said lives, but otherwise, decided to let it be. Eyes lighting up a bit, he commented as he pointed over towards Shale, "Excellent Shale. Then why don' you do jus' that. Git y'self assigned as one of the Senator's guards and give us a heads up when they're gonna travel down our route."

Looking back over the hologram, Deacon stated, "The knock-out gas is a good idea. No need in makin' this whole thing a blood-bath in the middle of the street. Tha's not what we're gunnin' for 'ere." Glancing over at the Togruta, he added, "And it'll mos' likely limit our resistance to jus' the Jedi... with any luck tha' is."

His fingers flew over a small console on the table that was emitting the hologram, shutting it down as it was powered off. "As for the shuttle, it'll be pretty obvious if we try to fly out of here as soon as we bag the Senator. I'm thinkin' we wait about a week or so b'fore we try to smuggle him off-world."

His gaze panning over those that were gathered, Deacon's voice was just that much more serious as he spoke, "Make no mistake about this folks. This ain' gonna be no walk in th' park." Pointing down at the top of the coffee table, he added, "We're talkin' about the Coruscanti Senator... his personal guards... an' most likely a coupla Jedi." Shaking his head a bit, he gestured towards the door, "Once we walk through tha' door, there's no goin' back."

Keeping silent for a few moments, Deacon let the thoughts sink in before finally speaking up, gesturing towards the door, "Now, le's go recon this route, put our heads t'gether, an' make sure we have a -real- solid plan." Looking over at Shale, he continued, "Come with for now. I want you to a'least be aware of what and where we're gonna strike at your guys... an' see if you can't remove the inner filter from their masks... that or switch 'em out with ones tha' don't block out the gas we'll be using."

Daesha nodded as she got up again. "I'm better at close combat than I am with any fire arm. I nabbed a cortosis weave vibroblade off a soldier recently that will be perfect for engaging the Jedi. However, my endurance is limited." She shifted her weight uncomfortably from foot to foot at that admission. She knew she could be a liability to the operation if she was left in open conflict too long.

"If we could have someone in a near by building to help overwhelm a Jedi guard with some firepower while they're engaged in melee combat, and probably also groggy from knock-out gas, we should be able to take them down. They'll be hard-pressed to be able to defend themselves from two different threats simultaneously." I already have a breath mask back aboard my ship, something I picked up when I started smuggling to planets with hostile atmospheres. It should ensure that I'm not knocked out by the gas myself. We should probably have multiple canisters planted into whatever side street we herd them into, linked to remotely activate simultaneously so that everyone in the escort is hit with a full dose." Daesha punctuated her sentance by taking a deep swig from her as-of-yet barely touched mug of Ithorian brandy. The flowery liquor was beginning to burn her throat. Perhaps she should not have had this much to drink. But she was still a far cry from drunk.

"I also think that laying low for the week is a reasonable solution. I'm assuming we'll wait to contact them with our demands until we're off-world in that case" said Daesha, nodding as she spoke. The Togruta finished her brandy in a few large gulps, then deposited her mug on the coffee table. "Now let's go scout that route."

"I could get at a high point and snipe, or get blade to blade with them," Kranon says confidently, "It doesn't matter to me." Kranon was ready for this mission. It had been a while since he had seen some action. There was nothing like a little violence to get the adrenaline running. With that, Kranon chugs the last bit of his drink and sets the cup down.

"Sounds good to me." Shale said, replacing the Flechette Rifle. He threw the glass into a collector and stood up. "Actually, I just had an idea. If I manage to infiltrate the Senator's Guard, why don't I just take him directly to the safe house?" he asked. "He'll be forced to trust me when everybody else is gone." he looked at Nash. "I could bring him right to you, we bag him. Get him to the ship."

Snapping his fingers as he pointed at Shale, Deacon replied, "EXCELLENT idea Shale!! If you can get on the Senator's personal guard, then we'll make a move to engage the Jedi while you collect him up and sweep him off to one of our safehouses... That is, if they don't realize your involvement in all of this." He grunted to himself as if in thought.

"Otherwise," he began, "Shale, you'll engage the Jedi with your flechette launcher while Kranon snipes at them from a second-story window." Pointing to Kranon, he went on, "We'll just have to make sure that you have -multiple- exits from that room and building. Don't get y'self boxed in when dealing with those flippin' Jedi."

Nodding over towards the Togruta female, Deacon went on, "Daesha, you an' I will hafta be the ones t'git in close an' personal with the Jedi... Not -too- close though." Pursing his lips, he studied her for a moment, "You have a scatter gun? We should git you one b'fore we actually give this thing a go. It'll allow you to keep some distance b'tween yourself an' the Jedi... while still being able to be a good nuisance to 'em."

Heaving a sigh, Deacon glanced over at the door, "Alright, well, le's go recon our route an' see what other sorts of ideas an' plans we can come up with. Keep talkin' folks. Keep throwin' out ideas. The only stupid one is th' one y'keep to y'self." Nodding over towards Daesha, he further added, "When it comes down to it, you focus on whichever Jedi appears t'be th' lesser... the Padawan. I'll focus on the Knight or Master, whatever... Just remember, if we can wound the Padawan, put him or her down, that'll throw the Master off. They don't wanna lose their precious Padawan."

Looking over at Shale and Kranon, he added, "Shale, if you can keep your cover of acting as the Senator's guard, then you won't engage at all, but rather sabotage everyone else's masks so they don't work for 'em, then you jus' haul off the Senator an' git him free an' clear." Looking at Kranon, Deke went on, "Kranon, you'll need to support -both- Daesha an' I, helping to make sure that those Jedi don't git too damn close to us."

Standing by the door, Deacon looked over the small crew as he worked the controls to unlock and open the door, "So far, we all clear on what th' plan is so far... and all still gonna participate?" His good eye shifted over them as he quirked his eyebrow, "Again, don' take this lightly folks. You do.. an' you're dead. Most likely a couple of us. We'll -all- need t'work t'gether to pull this off."

At the mention of having him near Jedi, a thought went into his head. "Mr. Nash, if I could suggest having someone else take the job of infiltrating the Senator's guard. Jedi can tell when something's up...especially with me..." Shale looked over at Daesha hoping that she would support him on this, even if she was disgusted with him. She knew what he was.

As they made for the exit, Daesha noticed the Rodian she had floored earlier starting to stir. She gave him a sharp kick as she passed, putting him back down. It was all for good measure; she didn't want him getting up and causing her more grief, so it was best to keep him down until she had left. Daesha shivered as the door to the cantina slid open and they all stepped into the dark street. Plenty of people were still up, considering it was well into the night, but Coruscant was always teeming with activity, day or night. She caught Shale's eye when he expressed his concerns about being alone with the Senator's armed escort.

"If there are Jedi, I'm not sure they would be actively reading the minds and checking the vitals of the escort. We need someone to sabotage those masks. The sedatives will be useless unless we do. It makes little difference to me if Deacon or Kranon must do this, but we still need you to hack them in and get them assigned to this patrol. As for me, maybe we could slip a mild poison to his personal aide or something. I know Thruster Head is a spice that normally needs to be injected to give all its effects, but in my experience it causes severe vomiting and nausea as well as anxiety when ingested, without granting the benefit of tenfold mental clarity. Unfortunately, it has a detectable odor, like wet paint. It would have to be served in a meal with a strong smell and flavour of its own to mask it, probably with a lot of seasoning. We can take the aide out of action for a few days with a strong dose, but it won't kill them. Then, we could have me sent in to help the Senator for the day. I'd be easy enough to disguise. A bit of paint to change up my markings, a different set of clothes, and lose the headdress and I'll look like a completely different Togruta. The problem with that is I won't be heavily armed. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if they searched me for weapons before allowing me in to close proximity with the Senator. So either someone who is not in the escort will have to have my weapons near by when we spring the ambush, or I'll have to take them from the first soldier in the escort to go down. However, the advantage comes in if we wire me cleverly. A small bug might go unnoticed if it's somewhere they probably wouldn't think to look, such as under a piece of jewelry, or even on the underside of one of my lekku, near the base where it connects up with the montrals. In order to make this work though, we'll need to recon the aide for a few days. Try and figure out how to do this right so that they don't realize I'm a fake. I would also appreciate back up by still having someone in with the soldiers. I don't want to go into this unarmed as well as alone."

A chill breeze rushing over her orange skin set Daesha's teeth chattering as she shivered. She had forgotten how cold this planet got after nightfall. "Our plan to deal with Jedi has some holes in it though. We're currently assuming that there will be a Padawan and his master. Now, if the master is a true master, they will be very difficult to take down, and I'm not sure we could handle a real master. But what if there isn't a Padawan at all? Sure, if it's a single Knight, we might be able to take care of it. But if there are two? Two Jedi Knights or anything better and I say we're royally ****ed. If I can infiltrate as an aide though, I can probably inquire about their ranks without raising too much suspicion. That way we won't be caught by surprise, and we can abort for the day before we're in too deep. We'll meet back up when we can, reassess the situation, and come up with a new plan."

Daesha looked up at the traffic of the many humming speeders as they flashed by. "We'll also need to escape to the safe house. Once we engage the Senator's escort, we need to move quickly before reinforcements come to help. I think we should steal a vehicle or two, have them hidden along our escape route. Maybe we could even plant some explosives along the way that we can use to cut off anyone following us. However, that would certainly pose a high risk to everyone, including innocents and ourselves. Maybe plant the explosives as a precaution, and only use them if we've exhausted our other options. What do you boys think?"

Deacon led the crew to a medium-sized burnt-orange speeder that was fully enclosed, allowing them to keep their conversations private. As he got in, he replied, "No need to steal any speeders. We'll pre-position a couple, and then if we don't have to use them, great. If we do, then we'll destroy them afterwards. Pre-positioning a stolen speeder will only risk the authorities discovering it at the most inopportune time. Le's not do that."

Looking over at Shale, he went on, "If you're not comfortable trying to blend in with the guards, then don't." He turned his gaze between both Shale and Daesha now. "I imagine that trying to sneak anyone into the Senator's little entourage would take more time to fully prep and ready than we have. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea and all, but we don't have a year to plan and work this... and even if we did, chances are greater that someone would let slip in that time, and we'd all be blown."

Shaking his head, he continued, "Daesha, we can simply have you as a passer-by on the street. All day, you'll patrol up and down, do some window-shopping, what have you, eat at a cafe, all that. You'll be our eyes on ground to watch for the target. Give us a warning to get into position. Try to look inconspicuous once you see them, turn about, and head in their direction of travel. It's less obvious to follow someone when you're actually in front of them."

Gesturing towards Kranon and Shale, Deacon stated, "Kranon, Shale and I will pick out a good kill zone where we'll unleash the knock-out gas and make for a quick push through the assault, grabbing up the Senator quickly without engaging the Jedi too much. The idea is to avoid direct confrontation with them. If we can get them to duck behind cover and stay there, the better, then we'll move in fast and sweep off with the package."

Pointing back over to Daesha, he added, "Once it starts to go down, Daesha, you'll hop in the speeder and bring it up so we can throw in the Senator and be gone." He didn't say it, but Deacon thought in his mind that potentially, someone could get left behind if they didn't have time to both throw in the Senator -and- load up himself, Kranon, and Shale. Whoever was left would have to fend for themselves the best they could and make it to the secondary speeder. Primary goal here was the Senator. Without him, no pay.

If they didn't have anyone on the inside to tamper with the masks though, that could prove difficult. An idea came to him. "Regarding the masks, barring that we can infiltrate and sabotage them, which seems more and more unlikely, we can simply over-saturate the area with knock-out gas. Those masks are only capable of handling so much. If we over-saturate the filters, then wearing it will matter little." He nodded to himself, rather convinced.

Snapping his fingers, he added, "Once the escorts are down, we'll scorch the air, burn off the gas, and retrieve the package. They all might get a little blistered and red, but it's better than dead. With a large amount of gas, heck, even the Jedi will have trouble trying to breathe." [an IC assumption] He began to drive them along the route they had determined earlier, Deacon further inquiring if anyone had any other ideas or suggestions; questions or comments. He -really- could use another hand or two in this operation. Really...

Shale got in thinking. "Alright, how about this. I infiltrate the guard, keep my ranking low so not to grab any Jedis attention, if there are any Jedi." She motioned with his hands. "I set my plastic explosives up in a vehicle near the Senator's route, when we go by boom." Shale made an exploding motion with his hands. "Everyone freaks out, then set out the gas. They get their masks on, which have been cleverly sabotaged, and pass out. If there are any Jedi, this is where the problem lies. They will immediatly identify me as an infiltrator. I would have to haul ass to get the Senator to any sort of safe zone if there are in fact Jedi." Shale sat back in the seat. "The advantages to infiltration? I'll have weaponry, I'll have the element of surprise, and you wouldn't have to worry about any RSF interference."

Deacon quirked an eyebrow over at Shale as he spoke, saying that he'd be willing to infiltrate the Senator's guards. Deke just shook his head lightly as he replied, "Shale, I thought you -just- got done saying that you shouldn't be in with the guards... and now you're saying that you should be?" He paused for only the briefest of moments, "I don't think we'll have much luck sneaking you into the guard. They're bound to be -extremely- picky on who they select to guard the Senator, and some new guy off the street or another district or Sector most likely won't make the cut."

Shaking his head, Deacon further replied, "Nah, let's just over-saturate their masks. It is possible. Have some flash-outs set up to burn off what it can once they go down, that'll help distract the Jedi if there are any, hopefully forcing them to keep their heads down while we run through, pick up the Senator, and go go go; loading him up and high-tailing it out of there. I don't know about you, but I have -zero- intentions of hanging around that area IF there are Jedi about. Conscious or not."

Bringing the speeder to a halt, Deacon gestured to the left side as he stated, powering down the craft, "Let's check out these alleyways an' git eyes on, making a selection of which one we want to stash the speeder in and make our getaway with the Senator." Stepping out, he gestured up and down the long street, "From here, it's a'least a coupla clicks in any direction to the nearest hint of any type of law enforcement." Pointing down at the road as his gaze panned up and down it, "Yeah, this should be a good area to set-up our attack." He looked up at the buildings on either side, trying to find a place where Kranon could perch and provide them cover with his rifle. Krath, this wasn't going to be easy...

"I can probably get us in contact with someone with that much knock-out gas," Daesha said. "But getting Kranon positioned is still a problem. You seemed to know the area well, Deacon. Are any of the buildings near by apartment complexes or hostels? We could take out a room for a few days, one with a window over-looking the street. And buildings such as those tends to have multiple exits. If he just packs his weapons and armor away in some cases, Kranon can walk right in without anyone suspecting a thing. Once he's got his helmet on and needs to make a getaway, no one will be able to identify him." She yawned and rubbed at her eyes. She did hope they were nearly done for the night. "As for weapons, I do have a small armory on board my ship. I don't have much of any one thing, but my predecessor tried to have a bit of variety in his stash to keep him covered in just about any situation."

Deacon smiled broadly over at Daesha. She seemed quite the individual to have along with them. A ship, a small armory, access to someone who could get a hold of that much knock-out gas; all that AND she had a good head on her shoulders. Promising. Very promising. It was getting late as they walked along the street, looking over the buildings.

In response to Daesha's question about a position for Kranon, he replied, pointing about, "Perhaps you and Kranon should have a look-see first thing tomorrow. There's the Worm Hole Motel, Free Ride Resort... which well... you get the idea with a name like that... 'cept it ain' no free ride, and there's the Hoppin' Cockroach Hotel, though it's designation as a Hotel versus a Motel is... sketchy at best."

Stopping to face Daesha, Deacon further inquired, "You have room t'board everyone t'nite? May as well have a good look at your craft an' armory b'fore we call it a night." Gaze passing over to both Shale and Kranon, Deke didn't see much of a sign of disagreement in either of their eyes. Stifling a yawn, Deacon raised a closed hand up over his mouth. Yeah, it was getting late.

"Sketchy establishments just mean we can blend in easier, without looking like we're trying. Just gotta keep our heads down to keep ourselves from appearing more ambitious than typical riff-raff," Daesha said, pleased with the answer. "But if I'm supposed to be our getaway driver, perhaps I should drive, just to get used to this baby. It's easier than trying to give directions anyway." Daesha climbed over Deacon into the driver's seat, taking the controls. Doubling back on the route they had just taken, she flew past the Slug's Hive and was approaching a large docking complex some ten minutes later.

She brought the speeder into a hangar occupied by a modestly sized freighter. The main body was fairly circular in shape, approximately eight meters thick and twenty meters in diameter. Two wings projected towards the front of the vessel, almost doubling its overall length. The vessel looked sturdy enough, with a thick hull and compact shape, but it was nothing extraordinary. That was how Daesha liked her ship to look: completely average. She set the speeder down a respectable distance from the ship, then hopped out. "Here she is boys," Daesha said, smiling and gesturing grandly at her craft, "High Tranquility. I know she doesn't look like much, but that's the idea. Keeps people from poking around and asking too many questions." She began making her way towards the boarding ramp, ascending into the ship's interior. "The lowest deck is fairly open as you can see," Daesha said as they entered into the garage. A small, single person speeder was in the corner, and an array of tools scattered across the floor suggested that some tinkering was in progress. The other notable feature were how low the ceilings were, only about seven feet high. "This deck is subdivided into four sections: two cargo holds, a garage, and cold storage for foodstuffs for the ship. There are enough supplies to easily keep a small crew fed for months, maybe as much as a year. I liked to keep it well stocked in case damage to the ship ever left me stranded, or if I had to go into hiding on some barren world. You may notice that the walls separating these sections don't seem to match up perfectly. They don't, but it's quite honestly just to make room for wiring and such. Well, that's the case for most. The armory is located between the two cargo holds, but we can't get to it from here. It's only accessible from the next deck."

A ladder towards the back of the garage provided access to the mid-deck. It was all engine rooms and mechanical operations, with the main power core situated at the very heart. There was also a pair of small escape pods, one on the port and starboard side respectively. Leading the way around various engines and such, Daesha finally stopped at one she knew well. There was about a foot and a half-of clearance underneath. She removed a screwdriver from a pouch on her belt, and dropping to her belly, crawled underneath. It took a few minutes before she pulled the floor panel loose and slid it out of the cramped space. She disappeared entirely in the darkness, but after some shuffling down below, she began to push out long, narrow hardcases containing the arms she had spoken of. About ten cases later, she reappeared as she crawled out of the space on her belly.

"Here we go," said Daesha as she began opening up the cases. "Here's the sniper rifle I promised. Its effective at ranges up to 1500 meters, and it'll take the kriffing head off of anybody you shoot it with. Very destructive. Each clip holds six .5 caliber bullets. They're armor-piercing, high velocity, and very expensive. I've only got two clips for it, so make them count. And I've got a scatter gun here too, something you had inquired about Deacon. I've shortened it a bit, to make it more practical for close combat. And here, I've got a pair of sub-machine guns and a blaster carbine. This case here has a pretty powerful pair of blaster pistols as well as a .22 semi-automatic pistol, outfitted with silencer, and .4 with a respectable magazine to it, and boy does it pack a punch. I tend not to use it because the kick-back on it is a bit much for me. I also nabbed these two assault rifles off of some Hutt soldiers in the Mid Rim when they started getting wise with me in the cantina. Didn't want anyone to get hurt, so I confiscated these after spiking their drinks. They're pretty much equally effective at medium and short range. Careful with this case. I've got ten frag grenades stored in here. I like to keep a good stock of these. I've also got three flash-bangs and a few things of teargas. And here are my blades. Two shortswords, a longsword, and a double-bladed sword. There's a pike in there too. They're all vibroweapons, but only the longsword and one of the shortswords are made with a cortosis weave. Ah, and here's the last, one of my favorites, even if it doesn't see much use. This here is my compound bow. I know it seems primitive, but it's got next to zero recoil, it's quiet, it's lightweight, and it's powerful. But part of what makes it so special is the arrows. The heads are barbed, which makes removing them extremely difficult and painful. They've also been hollowed out. See the tiny hole in the point? I've filled them all with Sedative H4b. It's commonly used in hospitals to induce unconsciousness. When someone gets stuck with one of these, the spice drains out of the arrowhead and into the bloodstream. A single dose is enough to knock a raging Gamorrean chieftain on his ass in less than three seconds. Even a Rancor starts to feel two or three. The bow and the longsword are mine, but you three feel free to take whatever else you want."

Deacon quirked an eyebrow as the Togruta female climbed over him to sit in the driver's seat. It wasn't intended to be seducing as far as he could tell, but still, the brush and touch up against someone else's body, especially that of the opposite sex, could stir things up. It didn't faze Deke too much though as he scooted over, taking shotgun and buckling in before they took off for Daesha's vessel. He wondered briefly just what it would be like, then figured they'd all see it soon enough.

Over the ten minute ride to the ship, it was relatively quiet as everyone made off-hand comments and remarks, pointing out this and that, making a small suggestion here, gesturing to something over there, not a lot was really accomplished other than a few tips and perhaps tricks that might be employed later, should the need arise. Ideally it wouldn't, and everything would go off without a hitch... Yeah... right...

Upon arrival at the hanger, the ship certainly didn't look all that fancy or anything. Rather plain and ordinary Deacon thought to himself. Didn't look too special or nothing like that. Daesha's remarks about what Deacon was thinking gave him pause as he thought on that for a moment, nodding as it sounded like solid logic... especially for one who made a hobby of using their vessel in means not entirely legal, heh.

The ceiling seemed a bit low, but then again, maybe she didn't travel too much with taller beings. Deke didn't mind that at all. Having not really paid attention to the way the walls matched up, he found it curious regarding her comment about it mostly being for wiring and such. Inwardly, that -begged- the question regarding the exceptions, heh. What else did she hide in these walls of hers? What did anyone hide in them? Contraband most likely. Huh.

When Daesha pushed out the weaponry, he liked what he saw immediately. The sawed-off scattergun drew his attention straight away. Taking it up promptly, he pretty much claimed it for himself right then and there. Sure he had one of his own, but not sawed-off. This one would work exceptionally well in close quarters. Nice... VERY Nice... The stock wasn't too heavy either. Overall, the thing had pretty decent balance. "I'll take this one," he stated simply, checking over some of the finer workings of it while he listened to Daesha go on.

Deke wasn't too excited about the bow... until she started talking about the tips of the arrow, and the poison. Now he began to wonder if he should position her up into a sniper position, what with her toxic arrows and such? Give the scattergun to Kranon and let him be a third gun on the ground. That would -really- help out strategically if there were Jedi with the Senator. When they were present, -every- extra weapon helped. EVERY weapon.

Deacon pondered the thought a little while longer before presenting it, wanting to make sure that it was solid and could work. If it rolled like this, they would have to adjust their plan a bit to carry the Senator to the same side of the street that Daesha would be on, this way, the getaway pilot could meet them down at the speeder and they all could get the Krath out of there.

He'd wait a few moments to say anything until Shale or Kranon, preferrably both, laid claim to whatever weapons they desired to use. Deke already have his blades, so he was good in that department.

Shale got nostalgia as he boarded Daesha's ship. It'd been a long time. A long time. Shale pulled off his pack, setting his MX-49 Slugthrower in the armory. "Mine." he said simply, following that with his Flechette Rifle. Then he laid eyes on the sniper rifle. "Anybody else have eyes on this thing?" Shale asked, impressed that Daesha had such a large armory. "Thing's a beaut." he commented, pulling the bolt back. It snapped back into place, and then he pulled it back again. "Bolt needs to be oiled." he muttered as it snapped back with a metallic crack. He looked around the room. "Tomorrow I'll head back to my hotel and grab my armor and other things. For now, this is good."
