The Ranger had taken the hit by the acolyte's push, but the Cather seemed rather unpersuasive as it stood in a defensive position, calling for her to turn away from this fight. The Wookiee growled in annoyance by the Jedi's words, Lyra could feel his rage growing and readied for an attack by the Jedi in response to her not backing down. However, from the corner of her eye, she saw the ranger stir and Lyra stepped back, readying herself for the two intruders to make their next move. The ranger raised her blaster aiming for the wookiee, but her feint pointed upwards, hitting a pipe from above.

Lyra gasped and raised her arm to protect her face as the heat and steam sprayed down from above, forcing the young sith to back up to avoid being hit by the spray. There would be no way to cross the hall, the Ranger and Jedi cleverly divided the area to allow for them to escape as the Pyke guards would enter to see the distressed equipment.

Klaxons begun to sound and the fumes were becoming overwhelming. Lyra backed up until she got to the stairwell, coughing from the fumes, her throat and nostrils burned terribly. Waiting for Konn, she sealed the door, allowing them to move to get fresh air and to evacuate the area.

The worst part of this, she still did not find Preef.

[Konn]

Konn

Konn rolled out of the way of the Cathar's redirection of his bolts. Standing up to his full height he was ready to attack, put more blasters their way, but suddenly the ranger pointed her blaster at Konn. Frowning the Wookiee bore his teeth, ready to be shot, fortunately the ranger was feinting and she fired up in to some pipes. Steam coming out and covering the hallway. Konn stepped back and raised his arm to his mouth and nose. Following Lyra through the doors which sealed shut behind them. Loud sirens wailing at the breach in the system. Something was about to explode maybe, unless engineers got there first. Konn uncovered his mouth and took in a breathe of fresh air. They were out of that danger perhaps. It was time to pursue and find the Cathar and ranger. But, god knows where they were heading to.

"Lets go find that ranger and Jedi. We might be able to get them in time."

Konn said as he begun to sniff the air and survey the area. They seemingly hadn't got in from anywhere near here. They must have got access through a different area. Konn looked to Lyra for assistance, she could sense the Jedi. Or maybe, it was better to let them go. They posed no threat to them anymore. But, Konn was still pretty angry and had to work his anger off somehow.
