KCL-B055 splashed cold water across his face, his body bent over the sink in the dirty fresher. Thoughts exploded through his mind. Everything had happened so quickly, he had barely had time to think. Everything was reaction, instinct, programming. He looked down at his shirt, it was spattered with blood stains. Not his, the others, from the facility. He had managed to escape, though the feat seemed unimpressive to him. Mostly scientists, only a handful had been armed. They were supposed to be guards he reckoned. But they were unable to accomplish their directive. Directive? Was that the right word? His mind was fresh, infantile. Despite all the knowledge he contained, life and thought were new. It were as if waking for the first time, his birth he supposed.
He had spent time in the tank. Though for how long he could not say. How long had he drifted in the tank. Unconscious he drifted. His brain active with thoughts disconnected from his senses. Plans of action, weapon schematics, martial forms, assassination techniques. The only thing to occasionally pull him from his fog of dreams, were the injections, rage and pain flowed like lightning through him. And then nothing but more training, more images and calculations in his minds eye.
