PERSONALITY: She is very easy going most of the time. But when it comes to battle and fighting, she is all business and can become very aggressive to those under her command. She won't order her troops to do something she is not willing to do herself. Also, she is very helpful to those that need assistance in doing their job.
BIOGRAPHY:
Kandice (formerly known as Mari Dreo) came from a wealthy family, her father a major player in trading exotic and speciality goods across the galaxy, where she learned the proper etiquette of diplomacy and proper manners. Her tow eldest brothers had long left the family and joined the Galactic Alliance and though she yearned for such adventures, her mother warned her that was not how a proper lady displayed herself. Rebellious by the age of fifteen (15), she left home and stolen the identity from a dying lady from one of the hospitals on Coruscant. With a new name, she now had a new future ahead of her.
She enlisted in the Galactic Alliance Navy and served as a gunner on a transport ship. A few years later (when she was 24) she was rewarded by her commanding officers when she was transferred to a fighter squadron where she was trained by some of the best pilots. For the ten (10) years that followed, she began to make a name for herself amongst and when she turned thirty-four (34) she was promoted to First Lt. and assigned to a warship in the G.A. fleet.
A year later war broke out with the Sith and the Empire. The warship she was assigned to was assigned with the task of protecting Galactic City, Coruscant. As fate would have it, the planet was razed by the Empire, millions upon millions were killed including her parents. However, she suffered major wounds during the space battle. She had lost her left leg and her right hand when her ship took a direct hit from an Imperial torpedo.
Crying in pain from her wounds, she was taken to a transport by a couple of soldiers when the order to abandon ship was giving by the ship's Admiral. As she laid on a make shift stretcher, she watched her ship explode into a ball of flames killing those that could not find a way off the dying ship. Her pain mingled with her grief caused her to black out. When she finally awoken from this, she was in a medical ship where she had just went under surgery to repair her leg and hand; having been given a mechanical leg and hand.
For the past ten (10) years, she jumped around the galaxy helping those against the Empire and those that sought to make the innocent suffer from their greedy ways. She found herself on planet with a name she couldn't pronounce and it was there that she purchased herself a battle droid to act as both guardian and companion; she named this droid XR-57.
Soon she began to hear rumours of an independent faction forming up and after making inquiries of the faction, she found they both had alot in common. She presented herself to the high command and was rewarding with the rank of Captain and assigned to another ship.
