An idealistic girl born on an idyllic world, Kai’a has yet to have her beliefs challenged. A newer recruit to the Sith Imperium, Kai’a is driven by ambition, loyalty, a profound sense of duty, and a desire to make a name for herself. Born to a stable household, Kai’a was spared much of the horrors of war due to the swift collapse of the Republic, knowing little of the benefits of democracy or dictatorship and caring little for the politics of either.
Born to a stable, loving family, Kai’a never knew the difficulties faced by the impoverished denizens of the rim or the unfortunate dregs of Coruscants lower promenades. Kai’a excelled in school, earning high marks across the board and excelling in physical and academic exercises, earning her a place at the Imperial Academy. There she excelled, graduating the top of her class and moving into the Imperial Naval Flight Academy, where she was selected as a Flight Candidate.
Her inexperience with failure has cemented a sense of purpose and hubris rivalled by few others. She exemplifies the personality traits exhibited by many of the Empire’s best “fighter jocks;” arrogance, impetuousness, and a deserved sense of skill. Kai’a can be likened to a firecracker, she is passionate and quick to make a decision, sudden yet fleeting; where she often maintains a dutiful, disciplined façade, she carries these deep underlying flaws across both personal and professional relationships.
In many ways, Private Hale can be said to have lived too short a life to have developed any interesting character traits. This means, however, that her personality is likely to undergo profound changes as Kai’a grows into the woman she is destined to become; the woman that the Empire will forge of her.
