They had spent twenty months training and torturing Kahl'l Nhbel. There were little memories in those eighteen months that he remembered of being free. During those months he mostly remembered darkness, his nightmares, and defending himself to survive. If he was asleep his nightmares would keep him anxious. When he was awake he'd dodge lasers and struggle to keep alive. He was in a constant struggle to catch a breath.
They had also experimented on Kahl'l, despite his refusal. They inserted needles, and taken pieces of him. They would deprive him of oxygen or place in him in a room under extreme temperatures. Sometimes he would suddenly levitate inside a steel room, and he would be thrown against the steel wall. He could hear his bones crack sometimes. It was unbearable. But he'd lasted longer than he thought. He lasted longer than they thought. He was a freak of force sensitives, but the one doing the research called him an anomaly. Even though he lacked the potential to fully control the force, like any normal force sensitive, the force had given him enough to be a beast. And with their assistance he would be even more.
Kahl’l could not see their faces, nor hear their voices. But he could sense how insignificant he was against them. He thought, even if one of them were left, he’d still feel the immensity.
(He didn’t know, they were only two people.)
He was trained more often in the later months which made him feel not too distressed. The torturing occurred lesser than his training, and he’d start to hear one voice. The voice was muffled with distortions. The sex of the speaker could hardly be identified, but it was enough to return Kahl’l his sanity.
During the later months, he’d imitate lightsaber combat moves from an old hologram record. He would study movements of Jedis and Bogans from records. Then he’d listen to directions of the voice of where he should go and what he should do in the cruiser. He never found one single living organism on the ship. The only animate objects were machines and maintenance droids.
He was given a room to rest whenever he wishes it. He felt relaxation again. He felt human again. He was sure he was tortured, but he could not see scars on his body.
(He was tortured psychologically and mentally.)
(He was a warrior monk again.)
(His memories are not the same.)
(He is stronger, now.)
He was meditating when he heard the cruiser speaker. "Kahl'l, meet your father. He is waiting for you at the hangar."
He quickly ran off towards the docking bay. He remembered the ship well, after spending seven months in it. It didn't take him long with his speed to reach the hangar.
He bowed his head and said, "Thank you for taking care of me, O' great father Pseudon."
