DEXTERITY: IIIIII---- (5/10)
Being a species of felines, Cathar intends to have increased agility.

CONSTITUTION: IIIIIII--- (7/10)
In direct relation to the strength and their gifts in hand-to-hand combat it's not unusual that they naturally can take a beating before falling.

INTELLIGENCE: IIIII----- (5/10)
While in no means unintelligent, the Cathar heritage allows him to average intelligence.

WISDOM: IIII------ (4/10)
Even as a Jedi he was never really exposed to deeper insights, his thinking remained to what was taught throughout his life.

CHARISMA: IIII------ (4/10)

While there are many powers above, the writer does acknowledge that the User's power is not infinite and could become exhausted with extended use. The writer would also like to make note that the abilities of Battlemind and Force Body are deadly abilities to the user; prolonged use of 'Body' could kill the user and prolonged use of 'Battlemind' can result in a loss of control.
** Note: While I have chosen the Mechu-Deru, it is NOT the vitae variant. The Mechu-Deru I have chosen is merely the ability to SEE deep within technology, specfically droids. This power is going to be used merely for the concept of being able to better repair the droids, Jyzou WILL NOT at any time deploy or even think to create the technobeasts.

SKILLS:
Droid Engineering, Mastered - Specialized
Technological Programming, Mastered
Melee with a weapon (one-handed, two-handed), Mastered
Hand-to-hand Combat, 3/5
Speaks, reads, writes in Basic (Fluent)
Speaks, reads, writes in Catharese (Fluent)
Fluent in various versions of Droidspeak.

LIGHTSABER/SWORD FORMS:
Form IV: Ataru (Advanced – prefers Force-assisted Acrobatics.)
Form VI: Niman (Intermediate) Note: Niman is considered Intermediate due to combining all the previous forms to make Niman; given near-Mastery over Ataru that part of the training is already done.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:
Jyzou is fiercely loyal as is common with his species; this loyalty lies with his culture, his family, his cause, and a mate (should one be included). This loyalty can sometimes cloud his judgment, while he weighs the pros and cons of a situation. Jyzou's temper and aggression can be steep and has proven to be difficult to control while following the ways of the Jedi – despite this he has proven to have a very strong willpower and can often calm himself; entering a unarmed fight can often blind his pursuit. Jyzou, was known to isolate himself with droids but with great effort he'd ensure it did not impact his lessons.

GEAR:
Lightsaber hilt crafted from the trees of Cathar, with intricate designs and reinforced with alloys. Deep purple blade; left hip
Cathar Honor Sword, weaved and folded by numerous lightsaber-resistant materials; imbued with the Force. A light purple jewel rests in the hilt and produces a fine plasma stream up until about the middle of the blade; attached to his back.
A Cortosis-weave vest (covering shoulders, chest, back) with a typical brown Jedi robe, heavy duty pants (similar to cargo) with a utility belt.

SHIP:
DH-71V (DeBrek Customs) Serenity
-The Ship has a single cockpit with a detailed control center and HUD. A single seat with 2 separate joysticks (one on each arm rest) with a 180 rotation; the cockpit can be closed off via a door at the bottom of a slight decline for the chair. Just before the door is two separate consoles that allows access to numerous ship systems followed by the engineering bay (which includes access to hyperdrive and sublite engines, life support). Just past is two sets of steel stairs – one leading up & one leading down. The steps lead to a personnel bay (six seats with shoulder bars) with loading ramp and hatch in the floor. Beside the steps is a door that leads to a turret control for the gun on the bottom (behind the cockpit) of the ship. Up the stairs (by the engineering bay) leads into some crew quarters with 4 sleeping berths (two on either side) that can be closed, a book case, a wall mounted computer beside the bookcase, and a small storage net above (for luggage), and a dining table in the middle of the room; with additional wall cupboards that store rations. At the back of the quarters is a door that leads to a secure cargo hold – beside the door is a ladder to allow access to the top turret.
Sublite engines are located on each wing at the end of the wing along a pointed nacelle; these nacelles can turn downward offering better control while landing. Just under the cockpit (above the manned turret) is another blaster that can be switched to Anti-personnel or anti-ship lasers. Top/Bottom turrets have a 360 firing arch. The tail of the ship offers hidden missile launchers (capable of 5 missiles on each side)

DROIDS:
Owns many custom made droids.

PETS:
He does not have any pets.

PERSONALITY:
Between his brother and himself, Jyzou is often the voice of reason – despite his flaws. Determined to make a difference, he enters some deep focus to complete tasks at hand. Sometimes he might push his views and his agenda because he'd like to be as honest with his fellow warriors and Jedis, he believe that there should not be secrets between people who've got a mutual goal; however he does accept that some things must remain private and not everything is an open book.

When talking about his people he often expresses a large sense of pride to his clan and species, this becomes evident in cases where they become a matter of concern. Jyzou has a fierce temper and can be extremely aggressive and dominate, he is much better suited as a warrior then a diplomat - but because he wants to make a point, he attempts to overcome that stereotype and challenge himself. His voice carries a distinctive Cathar accent when he speaks Basic, however it is not as pronounced as most Cathar from home. Right now, a certain level of happiness carries with each of his words.

BIOGRAPHY:
Born in a litter to Lyzou and Nyazi, on the planet Cathar – Jyzou and his brother Cylanto grew up with a connection to the Force. Both Jyzou and Cylanto were taught about their culture and their history, learning to manage and adapt to their instinctive aggression. It wasn't easy, while there were 5 members of the litter Jyzou and Cylanto were inseparable; learning together, getting physical together and expanding on their gifts. At the age of 7 – while still young – during a routine wellness check, The New Jedi Order discovered their connection and were given an option to pursue or remain home. After deliberation the family agreed to allow the two learn the ways of the Jedi on Coruscant where they would reside at the temple learning from various masters, until their 12th birthday, where they were given a chance to rise to Jedi Padawans.

The two Cathar brothers would remain side by side still yet, however there were some missions where they would go separate ways (each brother was taught by separate masters as well). On occasion each would be given some leave time to visit with their family and to pursue other hobbies, Jyzou quickly found that working with droids made him relax, made him free, allowed him some major fun and excited – he built many droids and even dismantled them over time, it was bliss for him.

Upon their first visit home as Padawan learners, the brothers were given special weapons... heirlooms of the clan. Jyzou was granted the Honoursword wielded by various Elders throughout the years; he could have pursued elder-ship had he wished it. Cylanto was given a Warstaff, a double edged staff wielded by battle lords. Each weapon specifically crafted and unique to the Cathar people imbued with Force energies and folded a thousand times to ensure strength and defense against swords and/or lightsaber blades. Upon their visit, the brothers both took bark from their home and community section of their tree cities.

Over the course of 14 years, each brother worked tirelessly to succeed at trials tasked by the council or their masters to achieve knighthood, because of this, a competition developed between the two brothers – a race to knighthood. Usually this competition would be harmless, but on occasion... the competition got out of hand and the two would lash out at each other. Even in competition, the brothers occasionally completed a certain trial just by simply dealing with the other. Upon the successful completion, the proof of their skills in the Force and ways of the Jedi, the brothers received field promotions to Jedi Knights – Cylanto was first, his brother, Jyzou, was 8 months later due to some lack of control when it came to temper. However, due to bother of the master's demise by the Sith during a series of deep space missions, they could never report the promotions back, thus could never achieve true Knight status.

The two commissioned a ship together, the Serenity ; a custom ship constructed by Duros engineers – the two returned to their inseparable ways. Jyzou and Cylanto served The New Jedi Order and the Galactic Alliance faithfully as “Field Knights” (both were bitter at the dismissal of their promotion); undertaking various missions. During this time however, the Sith were becoming more aggressive and they had to witness as the Alliance began to shatter, the Order collapsing and scattering. To bear witness spurred a desire among Jyzou, a desire to follow up on some leads he had heard and read about. A few years would pass while he built his knowledge, following the Order and defending the Order; it soon became evident that he had to act on an idea, recruiting his brother... the pursuit of a lost Jedi Praxeum ship.

The information was presented to the Jedi Council – or what was left of it – however, the council could not back the expedition as resources needed to be aimed at survival and possible rebuilding the order, this choice was rightfully placed. Now with the general sense of freedom the the New Jedi Order offered, Jyzou could continue without explaining himself to the council – unfortunately the truth was ugly. The truth was, in order to accomplish the hunt certain tactics maybe required – tactics highly frowned upon. With the knowledge that gambling, physical presence, physical threats, and twisting of fate may be required – Jyzou would walk a dangerous path, his brother by his side. The idea was real, the idea of potential having to tread the Dark Side and spend credits on mercenaries and underworld contacts for further advancement, for protection. The former Jedi Knights decided to press on to complete the journey... while not turning their back on the Order; they knew they might not be welcomed back once completed.

Years of searching tirelessly, exerting Force powers and striking fast and hard, the brothers would locate the Praxeum; much smaller than a capital ship or any of the most famous of Praxeum ships of old. An uncharted system with no affinity for the Force; the ship was drifting aimlessly in the voids of space, limping, damaged, forgotten. Much of the ship required repairs but they quickly gave it a chance to hide in a dense nebula. This ship continues to rest within the nebula, several key systems have been repaired by the two, some hired specialists, and other Force Sensitives who chose to follow the two on the quest.

Today, progress has been made however; the ship is far from complete and far from being truly considered as operational. Praxeums are generally automated, assisted running through many droids aboard the ship. The road ahead is long and may require great sacrifice. The ship maybe reduced... the ship maybe lost forever... or the ship might just help.

Hello, umm Good first character though I see some stuff.
!: To be a former jedi knight, you will need to talk to the Jedi FL "faction leaders" though most time than not, new character "people" start off on bottom rank. Also hes a Captain of what?
2: This sort of goes with the rank. Yes knight may of more stuff "powers", though padawans most time than not know the beginning powers "Force push/pull, sense, sight or leap and sometimes a special power. The two saber forms a knight can have though I think he can't master any. Ask FL.
2 1/2: That a lot of powers and some are not the jedi way.
3. What his ship, all I know is the lay out. I think.

That all I see, others may chip in with better info. :)

Hey,

Thanks for the inputs. Prior to completing this profile and his brother, Cylanto, I spoke with Ruthless. After reviewing the profile he had approved the Jedi Knight rank.

The two saber Forms are in accordance with the policies, as a Jedi Knight he can have thorough knowledge of a form. As for the intermediate second form that come from being a leader of an independent faction being developed. Lavi gave the green light to put it together as it's plausible.

While yes, I agree that some powers are not of traditional Jedi ways, however, if you take a gander at some of the New Jedi Order in the forums here, I believe it makes a mention about Force Power quoting Kyle Katarn in Jedi Academy, "Force powers are not inheritly light or dark but it's intent behind the use"... Or something along those lines. (I think...)

The ship, custom design (for the characters, not my own). Yes, that's the interior - I'm in the process of adapting the design and functionality to the Star Wars universe, of course upon completion it'll be subject to approval.

Captain/Leader applies to the Independent faction that ties directly into his background. The Praxeum ship.

Again, I seriously appreciate the input - after all, how can I make a well rounded character with you guys :) a lot of knowledge here.

I pretty much agree with everything Skyway said. This character is simply too OP. It seems to me that you skipped the usual steps of development. While a good concept I would really consider tuning him down a tad. Contact TAC, Jedi Grandmaster to go over your character and give you general approval.

Edit: Disregard my previous statements if GABA agreed. Also GABA is a woman. But something I would do since he's of age to have fought a bit is perhaps add a bit of combat experience. That could help explain why he is as advanced as he is.

My apologies about gender, I was putting that together on my phone and I'm still a rookie in the community :)

Combat experience makes sense, I'll dig some and figure out some ideal combat solutions to bring things up, I can also look at dropping some things as well. I generally wanted to reduce the amount of possible masteries. I think I made a pretty good attempt at allowing for combat over the years... I had some ideas but none completely refined but I understand the concerns so I will refine them; just didn't want to interpose a character in major conflicts that I (as a player) were not physically involved with, but hey! Supporting roles are always fantastic instead of the heroes.

My ranking system for the powers was: Rank 0 - In Theory only. Rank 1 - Novice. Rank 2 - Advanced. Rank 3 - Intermediate. Rank 4 - Master. Rank 5 - Specialized.
Anything specfic you think I should dial back in rank?

I would shoot for more average abilities overall. Now the real test would be affiliating with a faction. Or trying to find your own way like a mercenary. If you choose the merc route. Hide your Force abilities. But if you affiliate with the Rebellion or perhaps the Cartel. Your abilities will be useful.

As it stand, they (brothers) never fully deserted the Order and are trying to accomplish their long-term goal (of the Praxeum) for the Jedi. Naturally, opposed to the Sith I think it's safe to presume they'd support the Rebellion and the Order.

I'll revaluate and knock off some ranks, reduce the 4s mainly. I think that'd work out great.
Thanks a lot!

Alright, made a few tweaks here and there. Mainly dropped some of the powers, if I chose to get into detail about some of the combat situation he took part in, I'll definitely made some more changes.

I completely understand the over evaluation I put down. Without a solid set of guidelines it was hard to come up with proper numbers; looking back and thinking of some table tops I've played - sometimes that +1 can make a HUGE difference. Take for example, Vampire: The Masquerade Pen and Paper:
Code:
STRENGTH:
(Rank 1) Poor: You can lift 40 lbs.
(Rank 2) Average: You can lift 100 lbs.
(Rank 3) Good: You can lift 250 lbs.
(Rank 4) Exceptional: You can lift 400 lbs.
(Rank 5) Outstanding: You can lift 650 lbs. and crush skulls like grapes.

DEXTERITY:
(Rank 1) Poor: You are clumsy and awkward. Put that gun down before you hurt yourself.
(Rank 2) Average: You're no clod, but you're no ballerina, either.
(Rank 3) Good: You possess some degree of athletic potential
(Rank 4) Exceptional: You could be an acrobat if you wished.
(Rank 5) Outstanding: Your movements are liquid and hypnotic - almost superhuman.

BRAWL
(Rank 1) Novice: You were picked on as a kid.
(Rank 2) Practiced: You've seen the occasional barroom tussle.
(Rank 3) Competent: You've fought regularly and routinely, and generally walked away in better shape than your
opponents.
(Rank 4) Expert: You could be a serious contender on a boxing circuit.
(Rank 5) Master: You can kill three men in four seconds.

It can seriously make a difference.

So anyways, powers dialed back... have a look, tell me if I need to make improvement. I need to modify the brother - I'll do that soon enough. With the Battle of Naboo coming up, I certainly have to buckle down!

The ship post and weapon posts are still in the works.
