Azar was able to protect himself from the spores and when the Infected charged he thought of something very funny.

"Wonder if they ever saw Force Lightening." Azar had practiced this quite alot and when Infected got close enough he shot out several strands. He was so angry that it transferred alot of power to the lightening and caused several Infected to explode from the damage.

"Come on Infected thought you had brains." Azar would have ate their brains but something told him it wouldn't be good. Several other infected got closer before the Reminder drew most off. But the ones close to him were almost immediantly killed.

(@Ols, YOu can tell a little baout someone through the Force and since you didn't have the same feeling as Jedi and there isn't anything such as Sith you'd probably be someone who broke away from the Jedi.))

((A sect is a (usually radical) religious group that has broken off from the main faith. So far you've seen three people...hardly something so major. As far as you guys know we're just three independent bystanders who can use the force.))

Cain nodded as Belyael walked up next to him on the rooftop, overlooking the masses of infected. Then came the groan. It almost made Cain want to flinch, but he tensed his right arm and remained perfectly still, breathing his still force filtered air deeply, looking at the masses that now filled the streets. Then the man who had threatened the three Shade leapt off of the building to "draw" them. On the ground Cain saw him become gaseous it seemed, as one of the creatures put his hand through him. That was very interesting, if not worrying. Although, for the time being at least, they appeared to be on the same side. Then the other man leapt down and joined the fray. Two versus four hundred. Nice odds.

As if pre-empting the question from the two flanking him, he said, still looking down at the brawl he said, "For now we wait. When playing poker, first you begin with the blinds," he raised his hand subtley as if to suggest the spores, and their own breathing control, "then the hands are dealt. For now we shall let the others bet before deciding if it is time to call or raise." He did not mention 'folding'. If they folded here, they would be dead before they could even think about leaving the table. Some of the four hundred poor souls, it seemed, had seen them. Or smelt them. Or whatever sense they used. And they were trying to scale the building. As the group climbed, Cain gathered the force about him. When the first of the, fairly large, group reached about halfway up he steadily inhaled, bringing his hands up. Then they were only a few floors below. Still he waited, his breath held, more and more of the creatures beginning the climb, the tall building bearing to host to more than thirty of them over its length. As the first one reached the ledge, it made a grab for Cain's boot. And he made his move. Exhaling as he forcefully moved his hands down and outwards, he sent an almight force wave down the side of the building. As it travelled, it took all of the creatures scaling the face of the building with it, some toppling onto others, others holding onto gutters and ledges that had broken from the side of the building. They crashed into the bottom, some making dents or small craters in the floor. Hopefully now the dark terror here would realise he was not dealing with a few mercenaries, or do gooders. He was in deep, and there was no surfacing now.

As Cain was paying attention to the front of the building some more creatures were making there way up the back of the building. A larger group this time clocking in at sixteen of the vile creatures. Belyael heard them knocking up against a drainage pipe as they made their way up the structure.

"Cain! Lilliana! Behind us!"

Belyael rushed to the other side of the building and employed a similar tactic to what Cain did, albeit a little weaker. He was able to shave three of the beasts from their ascent with the rest of them only a couple feet from reaching the top. Belyael pulled his saber off his belt but had little time to react to the one that popped up immediately to his left. Belyale kickly made short work of him witha round house kick to the chest.

A sleek, black craft began it's descent into the atmosphere of the planet.

Conor tapped a few keys on the main control panel in front of him.Checking the descent angle, he was satisfied when the computer told him that the ship wouldn't burn up and become just another satellite orbiting this small planetoid.

He had heard about this planet in the cantinas of Coruscant. They said an entire city had dropped off the grid.Four hundred people, lost to some calamity.Conor knew that if he was to become a real merc he would need to get a reputation. So, he had hopped in his A-91 and took the quickest hyperspace routes he could to the planet.

His intention was to find out what had happened and see if he could assist any survivors. After hailing the Starport and receiving no reply, Conor had decided to land wherever he could.A large clearing in the forest would do nicely, and luckily, there had been one within about fifteen minutes walking distance to the town.

He watched as flames danced crazily around the three windows on each side of the cockpit.

Conor rested his head in one of his hands, wondering what he would discover on the planet's surface.

(@ Ols, just cause you can use the Force doesn't reallly mean anything. By using the Force powers earlier to filter air and many other things, you have shown that you are trained and because of that it's easy to geuss something is different between you and some other random Force User)

Azar saw a ship land on the outskirts of the city, and while he saw it, a Infected got close enough to attempt to claw him. Azar made the creature pay with it's arm, and then shortly afterwards his head. Blasted these things just didn't give up. But thanks to his rather quick and deadly Lightsaber Style, he was able to reduce the numbers down enough.

"Well this is fun, maybe they should open a resort here to kill zombies!"

The A-91 landed with a soft stomping sound, followed by a series of hisses and mechanical whirs.Very stealthy.

"Alright then, time to get to work!" Conor thought as he stepped out of the command chair and walked several paces through the hall behind him.He entered the cargo area and walked to a weapons locker. He pulled open the door and retrieved his slug throwers, smiling. He held them in his left hand while he reached back inside the locker and pulled out a holster, which he clipped to his belt.

Conor stuffed the pistol into it's holster, then closed the locker and quickly walked to the back of the ship.He tapped a few keys on a pad on the wall, then watched as the back of the ship opened and turned into a ramp.

He strode confidently down the ramp, then pulled a datapad out of his pocket.Conor quickly studied the map he had downloaded, then started moving at a fast pace towards the town.

As Conor started his short walk, the ramp behind him slowly retracted and closed.

In a fast pace, a figure under a large shadowcloak made its way across town...Minerva looked to the side, under her goggles, her grey eyes spotted an Infected jumped her. The quick flash of red light that came across the Infected's chest turned him into two dead pieces of corpse. He was better off now, anyway...the only thing she feared was that she would be spotted much more easily by whoever had the ability to sence her...comming out of her hiding spot would have been foolish earlier, but now, allies of sorts seemed to have arrived. Her knowladge might come in handy.

In the past two weeks she had been hiding, and now, she was on her way towards the new commers. In the distance, everywhere, a huge moan from the undead made itself hear. She kept on going, not minding the roar, but then they seemed to spring from everywhere. Raising her arms, and grinding her teeth, a huge Force Lightning sprang from her arms, torching the nearby Infected, in a spetacular show, that might be confused with Force Storm to the untrained ones...

She seized the lightning, and began running, waving her lightsabers across infecteds. Once she jumped to a roof top, she made her way to the one with the smallest siganture in the Force; surely, someone hiding himself.

"Not good..." Conor thought as he sat in the upper branches of a tree.He had gotten to the town and quickly realized something was horribly wrong. After climbing the tree, he had noted gas clouds that were probably what was causing ... this.

He had put on his re breather mask, and now noticed what seemed to be a Jedi walking through the streets. They had used some kind of force explosion power."Note to self, don't EVER make a jedi mad." Conor muttered quietly, scanning the town with his binoculars.

The infected looked braindead, but it seemed they could still use some weapons. As Conor started to scanned the rooftops for survivors he heard a sharp crack. "Oh crap!" Conor said as the limb underneath him gave way, falling down the tree and landing with a smash on the ground below.

Conor hung onto the branch above him for dear life.He tried to pull himself up, but he wasn't strong enough to lift all the extra weight of his gear."I should've trained for this, dammit!" He said angrily, trying to swing to a lower branch. His feet barely touched, and Conor put his weight upon it.It held.

He gripped the tree and slowly slid down, catching his breath. Conor sighed, and began working his way down with a newfound cautiousness.

Derek smiled from his perch atop the building, tucked in the shadows of an overhang, dampening his connection to the force, he was nigh invisible. This city was in a sorry state, and the one who had done this... was going to pay. Horribly.

Justice needed to be done, however, and Derek had yet to pin down the location of the core of the trouble. But he was beginning to feel it in the force, and he would know soon...

In a moment this place could become hell on earth. Not that it wasn't too far off already. The warrior hidden amongst the shadows knew what would happen if he let himself succumb to the rage buried inside. If he gave in to his baser emotions and lashed out against the rotting infected in dire need of purging. Both him and Night knew that patience was a virtue, but it would just be fun if they forgot about it this one time.

He could throw off his shrouded cape and emerge from his hiding spot, draw his dual automatic pistols and fire away. Each metal slug would pound through the skull of an infected, sending shards of bone and cartilage flying, accompanied by the familiar sound of flesh being teared open. But there would be something different about these kills. They would be easy, and they would be without any form of hesitation, and they would be by the dozens. These people were nothing but a mindless horde now, cattle for the slaughter.

He could throw off his shrouded cape and withdraw his blade, rushing forward to slice open countless waves of the beasts. His sword ripping through the rotted flesh with ease, his strikes flowing through him like a dance; such finesse, such precision.

But he didn't. Neither him nor his companion moved once the horde became alive and rushed past them. They let the zombies run by, and when it was safe, the two of them slowly moved to the rooftops, careful to climb only whilst under considerable cover. Now was not the time to engage in direct combat.

OOC: Sorry about the short length. Low on time.

Vael laughed as the intruders seemed to be tearing apart the infected without much trouble. He was not much worried, as whenever some of them thought that they were taking out the infected, the infected had been merely disabled. Time for a little bit of a surprise. From watching how they all fought. He knew that they would definitely have problems when they finally reached the building. His own building had an odd chrage that did something to certain types of devices. It also had an infestation of a certain type of lizard. Which would makes things very interesting.

It was time to focus on the now though. So, Veral had all of the large spores pump out all of what they had in them, and it went straight to the infected. All that had not had their heads completely destroyed not only stood up, but they started to regrow. The ones that had not yet been disabled in any way got the best change though. They became slightly bigger, and started moving much faster, and they became much faster. They also produced a very large negative area in the force. Not an intended effect by Vael, but it would probably create quite a drain on any force users who were there.

((since we've obviously blown the posting order to all hell, I might as well post this >.>))

Rhi looked around, she was nearing the center of the city now, and something was starting to change in her. It was certainly only a minor thing now, but she didn't like it. She continued to search for what it might be so that she could defend herself against it. Something exploded, much muffled by the snow. Her keen eyes instantly turned to see what had happened, but all she was saw a cloud of.... something... floating into the air. Her mind slightly dulled by the loosened spores, it took her a few moments to draw the connection.

Clever... making the very air a means of spreading this corruption... Just as she was reaching into her pocket for the rebreather she kept there, a horrendous wail traveled thru the city. While she mourned the life that would be lost, she understood the need for it's loss, so... the cry did little more than alert her to something going on. She finished grabbing her rebreather, and looked intently at the streets below while she set it over her mouth and nose. The roving, mindless infected people suddenly seemed to have a new will. The all seemed to be heading in the same direction, they almost seemed to be marching, but to what, she couldn't tell.

Taking note of this turn of events, she continued looking for the corruptions' source, still not expecting it to be so simply placed.

((I'm with Markus on this one, a week is a little long to wait.))

The Reminder's eyes narrowed as he watched the bodies grow back and come at them again... and without brains that he had blown out. (wtf?) Rather curious.

Turning to see that the force users had not followed his command to move to the source, he grunted and turned to look at his fellow council member.

"This is not a fight a god could win." The Reminder said, smoke rising from the depths of his being, he spun and blew the brains out of another being. "If those people will not seek out the source of this corruption, then it is up to us."

Without another word he phased through the nearest wall, the corrupted stared at it for a moment before they tried to claw at the concrete. They ended up breaking their fingers.

-----------------------------------

As Rhi progressed closer and closer to the center of the city, she was stopped by an all-too-familiar figure that came out of the ground in front of her.

"You."
The Reminder said, eyes glowing. "Tell me why you're here and give me a good reason not to kill you."

His slug thrower was already trained at her head, she would be rather stupid to attack at that moment.

Azar simply nodded away after seeing Infected grow up if their heads' weren't destroyed. Azar immediantly attacked several more Infected before force jumping to a nearbye roof. "Come on boys and girls." Azar then leapt to another roof.

Derek strode up to master Ray, and snarled. "I've found him, or at least, near where he is."

"Are we going to go on the attack, or just let this madness continue." He brushed away a wave of spores with a force push as he spoke, and stared out over the city, his rage and frustration obvious.

Cain was quiet for a moment, so Derek snorted, and leapt past him.

He couldn't wait. This had to end now. The evil of this place was getting under his skin, making him angry.

Something or someone was going to pay.

Time for blood.

Heading towards the center of the city, Derek leapt from rooftop to rooftop, avoiding the swarms of infected with ease.
